Amazing Lakefront Rental with Sandy Beach
Wir haben ein Haus für alle Jahreszeiten! Unser Anwesen liegt direkt am Gogebic-See und bietet wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge, Sandstrände, atemberaubende Ausblicke und erstklassiges Angeln. Außerdem haben Sie Zugang zu 950 km ATV-Strecken, 3000 km Schneemobil-Strecken, Skigebieten, unberührten Wasserfällen und Wanderwegen und der Porcupine Mountain National Park.
Sie können all das genießen, während Sie in der Gemütlichkeit Ihres Zuhauses wohnen. Unser Eigentum umfasst - 3 Schlafzimmer; 3 Badezimmer (eines befindet sich im Saunagebäude); Wäschetrockner; voll ausgestattete Küche mit zusätzlichem Kühlschrank in der Wäscherei; Essbereich; geräumiger Wohnraum mit allen Fensteraussichten, die zu einer großen Terrasse mit Tischen / Stühlen und Grill führen; kleiner Barbereich; Dock; und Kajaks (zwei mit zwei Schwimmwesten). Wir haben eine Tiefgarage zum Parken und eine Anlegestelle, an der auch geparkt werden kann.
Maple Ridge Bait Shop und Timberline Sports (neue und gebrauchte Powersport-Fahrzeuge, Ersatzteile und Service) befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Bergland mit dem Lake Gogebic Outpost Mobile, Antonio's Restaurant, JW's Barbeque & Brew und Bergland liegen drei Kilometer entfernt die Bergland Bay Bar.

We were all impressed with the organization and cleanliness of this cottage on the lake. Sitting in the living room over looking the lake was like sitting on a cruise ship and seeing the water and far distant hills south. We had only one misty light rain day. We rented a pontoon boat from The Timbers Resort nearby and this vessel was well-equipped for both resting pleasure and fishing. Everyone in our family was pleased with our week at this 'Sandy Beach Cottage.' Our grandchildren and the adults enjoyed the far-out walk of sandy bottom waters! Thank you immensely for all of the amenities!

We had a great time at this rental. The hosts were very helpful, the lake was fantastic and the beach area was great for our young grandkids. Nice beds and bedrooms! One thing to note is that the bedroom with the two queens at the top of the stairs does not have a door on it (it’s hard to tell from the pictures). That worked out fine for us because the stairway is not by the main part of the house. We would definitely return!

We all had a great time. The May flies and mosquitoes were a little challenging and we didn’t get as much fishing in as we wanted to. The lake house is very nice.

There's a lot of space here and all the kitchen conveniences you'd like to have. We enjoyed the sauna a couple of times.
This VRBO is great, but I'll caution on the bug load. We did hiking in the Porkies and even with a bath in Deet, the bugs swarmed. Bring a head net. Even on the shores of the VRBO, we weren't able to sit at the campfire some nights, since we were tired of bug bites.

We absolutely loved our stay on Sandy Beach. We very much lucked into the listing as it turned out to be just a few houses away from dear friends and family. The space was generous with wonderful views of the lake. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was so nice to hear the sound of waves lulling us to sleep. Would definitely rent this house again on another trip up north!

We had a wonderful time. The view from the house is incredible. The house was clean, and everything was as "advertised." This is an excellent property for a home- base to explore Porcupine Mountain State Park and other nearby MI state parks and waterfalls.

What a beautiful home! The photos on VRBO, just don’t do it justice.
We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift of a local bottle of wine and candle. There’s an open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room that was great for conversation and gathering. Our group of 6 slept comfortably. We enjoyed the panoramic views- watching sunrises, sunsets, and wildlife on the lake each day. Our group gathered on the deck to watch the stars in the evening.
Our first day we relaxed and took in the view, played cards, and enjoyed just being away.
Our first adventure was to Bond Falls, followed by lunch at Antonio’s. The next day, we took a trip to Porcupine State Park and visited a few falls on the Presque Isle River. The following day, we took a day trip to Copper Harbor visiting lighthouses and waterfalls along the way, and took a scenic mountain drive back with views of Copper Harbor from above. Our last day, a few of us went to Copper Peak (the views are breathtaking), and several waterfalls along Black River.
Communication with Michele was simple and she was very kind, responsive, and helpful.
We did our major grocery shopping at Walmart, just a 30 minute drive west. We may have enjoyed some ice cream from Dairy Queen before heading back. ;)

Great place to reconnect with friends! Open concept living & dining area was perfect for a gathering of 4 couples on a color tour. Beautiful view of Lake Gogebic. Even though we had rainy days, watching the clouds, ducks, & subsequent rainbows made a wonderful stay.

Long water view of Lake Gogebic. Very nice deck to enjoy the lovely weather we had during our stay. Panoramic views of the lake from the living room. Fully functional kitchen with everything you need to cook in. We crudités Lake of the Clouds, Ironwood, and Copper Peak.

The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, blankets and kitchen ware for cooking and grilling.

Beautiful house right on a sandy beach, we all had a wonderful time. Very close to Lake in the Clouds state park and a lot of wonderful water falls. Everything was as described on-line.

The location is great with a very nice beach. Very much appreciated being able to moor at the dock. Only had one issue with an outlet and the response/repair was great. Plenty of parking as we had two trailers and four vehicles. We definitely recommend staying at Sandy Besch Resort.

We had a great time at Shady Beach! The cabin was just what we needed for a week. The weather (mostly) was amazing and the kids swam, kayaked or paddle boarded everyday. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed plus some. We had a little ran in with Mother Nature but the owners we very understanding and responsive with the issue. Very close to many sight seeing attractions that we took advantage of. Will definitely be looking into booking again!

We had a great time at the property it exceeded our expectations. Very comfy and well stocked for our needs. Our grandchildren had so much fun with kayaks and paddle board. Lake was shallow off the Sandy beach and was perfect for our gang. Lovely deck for playing board games.

The house and property is gorgeous! Easy access to the lake and plenty of space for yard games. The weather was not great for boating so we went exploring. Overall we had a great time with family and only wish the cottage wasn’t booked for next summer already.

Our family had an amazing stay. The pictures did not do it justice. The lake was so peaceful, the views from the house amazing. Our group ranged from 10 years old to 78 and everyone had a wonderful time. The house was well stocked and appointed. Kids and adults enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard. We had smores in the evenings and used the grill on the deck. The teens really enjoyed the sauna. We never turned the tv on because watching the lake was all we needed the tranquility and the occasional ducks floating by with their babies. It was the vacation we had hoped for but even better.

We loved staying at this place for the week. The beach is really great! The cabin had plenty of room for our family so when we weren't on the beach or in the lake, we were in the cabin playing games. We could also watch the Brewers because we could stream it with a firestick that we brought along. Having access to the internet was nice amenity! Dollar General being 2 miles from us was perfect as well. On one of the rainy days, we visited some of the bars on the lake and chatted with others about the Merriweather area and got some ideas for things to do next time we are in the UP such as Bruce Crossing and Bond Falls. We definitely would rent this great house again.

Everything about it was great. Property is upon a sandy beach w/ swimming. Fishing boat lift. Fully stocked house and very clean. Cottage is very accommodating. Will return!

Great place to stay with a dog who loves to swim. Had a nice to grilling and relaxing on the porch while my Newfie went swimming. Also, great place to go see all the spots in the Porcupine Mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect and lake views amazing. What a great spot to gather with family and enjoy the lake. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The hosts were very attentive to any questions we had. We would definitely rent again.

Watching the weather before the trip that called for rain. When we arrived, after one nice day, we were snowed in. There was plenty of games and things to keep us entertained. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to stay warm and cozy. Property management was easy to contact and quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay

Great little cabin! One bedroom was closed due to water damage, but it wasn't a problem for us. We had a small issue with entry codes, but owner was able to help quickly. Would stay again.
