We were looking for a fun get away and were excited to find one on a lake. This one, however, we will not return to. From the first step into the cabin, the floor was soft and we were glad we didn't fall through. The floor seemed soft throughout the cabin. There was one air conditioner in the main room, but he bedrooms were HOT at nite with no place to plug in a fan. The place seemed a little dirty, many mosquitos in the bathroom. If you are 5'8" the shower is not for you. Needs updating. Glad the weather was good, as we didn't spend much time inside.

Place was as it was described and shown in the pictures. The location was perfect for us as we have family gathering a half mile away from there. Definitely would consider staying here again next year.

Cabin was clean, location was great, neighbor who owns the cabin next door was very friendly and helpful. Property contact, Maggie, was quick to respond to our questions and very kind. I would definitely recommend this place!

The cabin was nice having three bedrooms, and a nice view of the lake. Having your own private boat ramp made it easy for getting my sled on the lake. Gogebic grocery just up the hill made it easy for getting bait for ice fishing.

It was a perfect location fir accessing the lake and close to dinning and bait shops.

The unit was on Lake Gogebic and had all the basics for our 3-night stay. We were hesitant to book due to no wi-fi and "limited" cell service, but were persuaded by promise of DVD player and Dish satellite. The DVD player would not connect to the TV and the Dish, while having many options, did not have any of the major networks. We couldn't contact the Guest Contact about these issues because there was no cell phone service. We eventually figured out we could get phone service at the state park several miles down the road. The Guest Contact was unable to help us. Afterward, the managing company (Evolve) agreed to refund 4% of our rental cost. The furniture was worn out and uncomfortable.The heating was through baseboard units in each room, which made it a little difficult to maintain the desired temp. Parts of the unit were very clean and other parts looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Lots of stains in bathtub. Loved the view.

We are a retired couple who came to Lake Gogebic for the opening 2 weeks of Walleye season and had a fabulous time. Tranquil is an excellent description of this cabin. The view from the front windows was beautiful regardless of the time of day, but sunrise and sunset were particularly awesome. The fishing was good the first few days and then slacked off some but we were still able to catch fish every day, especially off the dock in the evenings. The neighbors were friendly and helpful and Maggie the house manager went the extra mile for us! The blackflies were out in force but even that didn't damper our enjoyment. The beds were comfortable. We would come back another time and bring friends since there is plenty of room in this 3 bedroom cabin!
