Der Herr an der Rezeption bei Nacht ist noch immer so freundlich und zuvorkommend wie im vergangenen Jahr. Auswahl beim Vorbestellen des Frühstücks auf dem Zimmer ist gut, wenn auch Ananasringe aus der Dose nicht als Ananas erwartet wurden, sondern eher frische. Dafür gab es aber ein gutes Stück kernarme leckere Melone und der Lachsbagel ist sehr üppig belegt. Parkplätze sind ausreichend verfügbar (hinter dem Haus) auf hoteleigenem Gelände. Supermarkt wenige Meter entfernt.

Leider gab es keine Föhn und Kosmetiktücher. Der Toilettensitz sollte erneuert werden, da er einem beim Sitzen auf dieser in den Rücken fällt. Auch die Dusche/Bad insgesamt gehört einmal erneuert. Preis-Leistung hat leider zum Vorjahr abgenommen.

Was made to pay an unexpected deposit of £50 upon arrival and the staff are being incredibly difficult about returning that to me, asking for bank statements to prove that I paid it despite the payment being on their account. I was told the money would be returned the same day I checked out but I am yet to see that returned.

Not really sure there was much to like to be honest we were staying there as had a funeral to go to! Ow and was give 50% discount as heating had broke in our first room

A lot of the things stated on the hotel’s facilities weren’t in the room! Bathroom smelt of fags! And light in bathroom comes on when you walk in, so middle of the night when you go to the toilet is a bit dazzling! Only one towel given for two people! And light on the fire escape light in room on all night! Gap under the door to hallway!

Great Location, modern, plenty of storage, quiet, clean & amazing breakfast served to your room which was a fabulous surprise, good parking too! 😃

No plug socket near the tea tray. No window but didn’t spoil our stay.

The room was ok with fairly contemporary decor, and the bed was acceptable.

Arrived at around 23:30 to find a breakfast slip in our room that requested it be filled by 23:00. We were surprised as the property offers a "continental breakfast" which unlike cooked breakfasts at some properties does not really require such a form. As well as the unusual form, there were several rooms close by with noisy occupants that continued their phone call well beyond 24:00. There was also a faint smell of weed smoking upon arrival which became very strong later as we realised people were smoking near our room. In the morning we enquired where the continental breakfast was served to be met with a grumpy response that we has not filled our form by 23:00, so no breakfast. Had we of been aware at the time of booking we could have tried to arrive earlier, or communicate our preferences via phone. Unfortunately this policy was not listed online. The walk-in shower is just a wet room with less than great drainage.
