The apartment is very clean and well equipped. There was a welcome package with, food, soap etc. which was very useful. Andy was very helpful in helping us with recommendations of what to see in the area.

great location spotless too - Andy was a great host and the welcome pack was amazing all the usuals milk bread but also some beer wine and bubbly! Andy couldn’t do enough to help including recommendations for Rstaurants beaches etc

nothing at all. only minor quibble there were so dogs at a locals property over the back howling all night - not the resort or our hosts fault at all!

Everything was just fantstic!

Good location for easy walking access to the town - beach, restaurants and shops. Very comfortable apartment and quiet location. Our host was very helpful with suggestions for things to do and where to eat. Thoughtful touch of providing basic food and beverage supplies.

we’ve stayed in this development before but this apartment is the best so far. credit to the owners for keeping the property in good condition and kitting out with everything we need, plus groceries which were much appreciated. almost don’t want to give it such a positive review, in case others find out😄😄

This is an exceptional property. Very well located, only 5 minute walk from main restaurant area. Casa Julio was spacious very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was extensive and very welcome. As mentioned by other visitors the sun roof/terrace is a great extra area to have. Andy was very accessible, helpful and informative. We would have no hesitation to recommend and would hope to return.

Nothing negative about the property only that the area in general, is quite hilly. It wouldn't be easy for people with mobility problems to get around.

The apartment was excellent, well furnished and clean. Areta and Andy had also stock the kitchen with food and drink that was free to consume so definitely went the extra mile there. They also provided recommendations for local restaurants. A very good stay and i would definitely go back. Thanks

I was happy with everything

Everything was brilliant, we arrived after a late flight, all the shops were shut but the apartment was fully stocked with everything we could have needed and more. Location is perfect, a few minute walk down to the center, beach is literally 5 minutes away. The pool is great, when we stayed the first week we were pretty much the only family there so it was like we had the pool to ourselves, but then the second week when more arrived there were plenty of sun beds for everyone. Also, a massive plus is the roof area. When you want to have a bit of privacy you can go upstairs to the roof and you have a massive area to relax as well. We did plan to use the BBQ one night but never got around to doing it as there are so many restaurants we didn’t want to miss out on. Our host couldn’t have been better, couldn’t do enough for us, throughout the holiday I’d get the occasional message asking if everything was ok, giving suggestions on the best restaurants and day trips, also reminders of where we can find towels in the cupboards in case we needed them. We were due to move to a villa for our second week with the rest of our family that we came with, we’d arranged it all, this villa was all paid for, really big luxurious villa for the family, but when it came to moving out of Casa Julio we didn’t want to, so I asked if there was availability for us to extend our stay and luckily for us there was. We had already paid to stay in this other villa and the rest of our family had already moved in, so we ended up paying for both just so we could stay in Casa Julio, and it was well worth it. Massive thanks for everything, really looking forward to coming back when we can!

Nothing at all that we didn’t like, literally perfect. The only thing my dad struggled with was how hilly Carvoeiro is, but it’s such a short walk to the center it really wasn’t an issue. Also taxis / Uber is always an option, and they’re really cheap, around €3 for a taxi home.

Amazing apartment with the nicest and most thoughtful of hosts. Left us an extremely generous welcome package, all things we needed for our baby, and a list of recommendation (including pram friendly beaches). Apartment has everything you need, was truly a home from home, WIFI connection great if you need to WFH as I did a few days. The location is unbeatable, 5 minute walk (max) to restaurants, shops and the beach. The area is lovely and felt so safe RE covid. Although so close to the town the property is in a quiet location so perfect for families especially is you have young children like us.

The apartment fulfilled our expectations and was even better than we thought. The hosts have really thought everything through, even providing basic supplies in the fridge and other things one might require such as laundry liquid and dishwasher tablets. The apartment is modern, clean and well looked after. The owner let us in the apartment, showed us around and told us a lot about the area. The apartment is located in a quiet resort with pools, tennis courts etc. and the town of Carvoeiro is just minutes away with local shops, restaurants, bars and a beautiful beach.

Everything was great. We had a really wonderful stay. The apartment is located just a few minutes away from Carvoeiro centre and the beach. However, the location is very secluded and quiet. The pool area was great and we really enjoyed using the BBQ on the terrace. Areta and Andy were very helpful and attentive. Thank you for everything.
