This villa is the perfect spot for a private vacation, but still close to town, beaches, etc. Loved it!

We had a great stay at El Nido. The kitchen had all the equipment for a few breakfasts and dinners at home. The view from the patio was gorgeous. It's nicely perched on the hill to take advantage of the breeze. Furniture was generally comfortable. Wifi was good. There was some road noise later into the morning but nothing too disruptive. Would definitely recommend to other couples visiting St. John.

Pleasantly surprised w the unit. Beautiful new deck, w comfortable lounge chairs and outdoor dining. Had all the amenities you’d want… Gorgeous views of Chocolate hole, Cruz Bay, etc. Location made it nice to access South or North shores. AC in bedroom although the open rafters made it difficult to cool. Everything else was exceptional.

We loved this property. Gorgeous views, close ride to downtown. Would recommend getting a Jeep Rental to explore island and get around. The condo was beautiful! Bedroom stays cool with the AC and the rest of the condo stayed cool with the breeze. Condo development quiet and pool was a great. A must stay!

There's something special about St. John and this property is perfect! It was spacious (just me and my husband), the view is amazing, the location was great, and the winds kept things cool! We were able to check in early on our arrival day and the property is very clean. I would highly recommend!

We loved staying at El Nido for our week in St John! The location was incredibly convenient to Cruz Bay area, with a beautiful view and a nice modern unit. The decor was great, amenities exactly what we needed for a week! The greeter was easy to work with, gave us some tips for while on island as well. We can’t wait to return to the island!

This one bedroom condo was great choice for us. Panoramic 180+ view to the southwest from the deck, cool breezes - so no need for AC, comfortable bed, lots of towels, great shower, well equipped kitchen, plenty of beach stuff for two, and very, very clean. Property manager Dena we rated excellent, and the owner's information packet was one of the best we've ever come across.

The property was just as the pictures online showed. No surprises, which was nice. Very clean, plenty of space for 2 people. We enjoyed the large deck every morning and evening. The deck provided more privacy than we expected, as there are no other decks next to you. Good location and nice views of the water. The property manager met us at our car rental's office, we followed her to the unit and she gave a quick tour of the unit which was appreciated.

Very clean property in a convenient location. 5 min drive to cruise bay. The bed was comfortable, views were spectacular, and the neighborhood is quiet. Clean pool, convenient laundry, well equipped kitchen, I could go on and on.

El Nido is only a few minutes from town, offers outstanding views and National Park access by foot. The unit is recently updated and nicely appointed. If you are a hiker, there is a footpath that gives you direct and immediate access to Caneel Hill Trail in the National Park. You can hike to the lookout in 10 minutes or to Honeymoon Bay, maybe 30 - 40 minutes away. Proximity to Cruz Bay comes with one detraction. The condo complex is close to Centerline Road, which is the main transportation corridor on the island. If you are on the deck during the day, the constant sound of trucks grinding up and down the hill and honking at each other can be annoying. On the other hand, you probably will be out enjoying the island somewhere else, so by the time you get back to the unit the trucks should be parked for the evening. One last thing, our college age son joined us and slept on the pull-out couch in the living room. He said the mattress was not very comfortable and we could hear his every turn through the night. That piece of furniture should be replaced if the unit is represented to sleep more than 2 people.

We loved staying at El Nido/Estate Pastory and had a great experience! It was well furnished and beautifully decorated! I loved that they had nice beach chairs and beach towels that we could use. So convenient! Our favorite part about the condo was the wonderful deck! The view was great and the furniture was very nice. We enjoyed eating outside at the high top table, and also just lounging out there whenever we could. It was also nice that all the windows had screens and the air flowed through so well. Glenn (the owner) was quick to respond and offered so much helpful information prior to our trip. Their "Welcome Book" was the absolute best I've ever seen! There were pages and pages of helpful information about things to do places to see, helpful numbers, etc. Dena, the property manager, was also very helpful and so easily accessible! She gave us her cell number, and answered all of our questions. While we were there, we had a small problem, and we texted her. She responded right away, and had a handyman (Todd, who was also so nice and helpful) there in literally less than 10 minutes! Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend El Nido to anyone!

Great place to stay for scuba diving on St. John. Not too far from Cruz Bay where all restaurants are located. Grocery store on way there to stop and pick up goodies after getting off of ferry. Property manager is very attentive and made sure we arrived at condo without any issues.

We had a wonderful stay at El Nido. We loved grilling dinner outside, enjoying the beautiful view from the terrace as we ate, and swimming in the pool. They also had beach chairs, towels, and a cooler available, as well as a great list describing each of St. John’s beautiful beaches. Glenn, Debbie, and their property manager were communicative and easy to reach.

The property was lovely. It was clean and it had everything we need. The property manager was very helpful. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. We felt comfortable and safe. We are dinner on the deck every night and watched the sunset.

We had a great time on island and staying at this VRBO just made it so easy to get around. Very close and convenient to Cruz Bay!

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE St. John. The island will always have my heart. However, our stay was less than ideal. Upon arrival (a month before arrival) I had asked about some construction with the patio that the owner was 95% sure it would be complete (in Nov) in January. We stayed mid Feb. I get, its island living and you can't predict that. Okay, bummer. I trusted and now we can't have a space outside (we live in MN where we dream of our vacations!) Not a make or break as we will be outside all day, etc. After a full 12 hours start to finish of travel we finally arrive. Only to be told that the construction will be starting on the deck with jack hammers and pounding at 7 am the next morning and would last through our entire week. Great. They tried to make it up to us with a $100 dinner gift certificate, but that definitely takes away from being able to get some much needed R&R in the mornings to sleep in. What I am upset about is that the neighbors downstairs said the couple that stayed the week before us was never told this information either. So they KNEW this would be going on, but lied and said it wasn't communicated to them until the day BEFORE we arrived. So yeah, am I a little annoyed, YES! I have to pull and draw all shades as there is no privacy with 3-4 men pounding away on the deck. We needed a cooler for the beach and we definitely couldn't find that in the unit, so we had to try to make do with a very small one for sale at a local shop. A few more beach towels would have been nice. We stayed our last 3 nights at Island Abodes that had all the things we needed and was a much better experience overall. Would not choose this place again.

This is a great place to stay without all the noise and bustle of staying directly downtown. Just a 3 minute drive into town. The condo is nicely appointed and recently renovated. Brand new porch with great sunset views and twinkling St. Thomas off in the distance. Best view in the entire complex.
