The apartment was beautiful, spacious and sparkling clean! All that compensated for it location, it was about 25 miles walk from city centre.

The name of the apartment was not indicated well enough on the confirmation of the booking. Also, it was not clear that the door code also opens the apartment. Good instructions were provided for finding the apartment itself.

Bit of a walk from town, but most of it on riverside footpath, and not a surprise

We stayed in an apartment on a first floor at the rear of the property accessible by an open air stair. The instructions received to enter the property were very clear and we had no problem at all with this. The apartment was huge overall, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. All perfectly equipped. All rooms with plenty of natural light and with garden views. There was also enough parking at the front of the property. It is around 20 minutes walking distance to the town centre. I would choose this place again.

Just be aware that this apartment in particular is accessible through a garden pathway and outside stairs in case you take heavy luggage with you.

Nice quiet and private

Easy to get in, get to have kitchenette facilities for a good price. Overall easy going. Oven provided in winter but able to open windows to nice garden. Really quiet outdoors.

Sometimes a bit noisy and can hear other guests speaking, coming and going which can be disrupting during the night. Room in winter time had a strong smell of drains, have stayed in the summer also and this was not the case. The room definitely needs the provided electrical heater to be appropriately warm in the winter, which works best with the bathroom door shut for full effect. However, that makes the bathroom arctic. Better in the summer.

Walls are thin, can hear everything (people walking about, closing doors, climbing stairs) There was a van driving around the property at 9:30pm

During our stay at Rossal House Apartments, we had a delightful experience. Initially, we booked one apartment for three nights, and after enjoying the spaciousness and excellent amenities, we decided to extend our stay by booking another apartment in the same building for an additional three nights. Both apartments were impressively spacious and equipped with a well-appointed kitchen featuring a coffee machine, electric kettle, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, a small fridge, and all the necessary pots and pans. The serene and green surroundings next to the picturesque River Ness made the location truly enchanting. The classic countryside style of the main hall added a touch of elegance to the entire experience. Not to mention, the cleanliness and the comfort of the beds ensured a truly enjoyable stay.

The only downside we experienced during our stay at Rossal House Apartments was that the apartments tended to be a bit chilly.

Nice house in a nice neighbourhood, close to Loch Ness.

Unfortunately the bed was unacceptable. We slept on a spring mattress with no top mattress. There was no noise insulation or ventilation.

Very practical to be able to check in contactless at any time. Very helpful staff, who helped us out with a second blanked when we asked for one via booking.com. the kitchen was well equipped and we loved the independence the Apartment provided us with.

This place was great to stay if you’re on a budget or are used to go the shared house experience (it’s not quite a hostel). We really liked that it had a kitchen and that we could cook our own meals. The shared bathrooms were very clean, and we never had to wait to use them.

We knew it was going to be about a 25 minute walk to the main part of town, but we would have liked to be a little closer at some points during the stay. (But the walk was really lovely along the river!) It also would have been helpful/nice if the rooms had a fan and the couches in the room could use updating.

The property had everything you require for a self catering apartment, the building is marvellous, very clean and the surrounding area very neat, tidy and very peaceful a little gem, near the river Ness.

Large open living space.

It's more like what I didn't like, which was nothing! Just like the photos. Well kept up inside and out. Easy to contact staff by email and get a quick response. Nice to have a code for outer door and apartment door. I chose this unit for the big windows and they were wonderful. Quiet and never heard or saw any others except once in the parking lot when new people came in. Easy walk along the River Ness to town. Great theater and movie cinema across the river, Eden Court with new running shows.

We loved the amount of room we had, and the property as a whole was really beautiful.

The only thing that was on the smaller size was the walk in shower.

Great location, used as a base to explore Loch Ness, Fort Augustus. Easy to park. Large spacious comfortable rooms. All amenities you need. Great features with usb charging lamps and large wardrobes which fit cabin luggage in.

Kitchen was well equipped! Good shower and really comfy bed. Soft towels and great pillows. Location is in a nice and quiet area! Host is very friendly and answers questions quick.
