Very cosy appartment - comfy beds, nice fireplace, kitchen equipped with everything that we needed and fjordviews from the living space! There is also a big garden with lots of space to hang out or have a campfire. The hosts were super quick responding to any questions and gave us lots of recommendations. Please note that the village is super small, there are two small supermarkets but no restaurants. Mobility is sort of limited by ferry schedules. This is the perfect place for those wo want to be in nature and experience life in a tiny fjord village - it’s quiet with lots of water and plenty of amazing landscape and hiking opportunities right at the doorstep. Good location to hike Preikestolen. Despite that, Stavanger is just a 50 mins drive away via a long and impressive tunnel. Tipp: Rent an electric car. There is free charging at the appartment.

Very nice apartment in a beautiful, small community east of Stavanger. Excellent views of the fjord and the bridge from the big apartment windows, despite being a little below ground level. Stayed here to do the Preikestolen hike, which is just a few miles down the road toward Jorpeland. Roomy with good facilities, and well equipped. Quiet, but there was no one else in the house at the time. Couple of small groceries, with gas pumps, nearby. Had trouble getting the heater to work properly, but the temperature was not very cold. Thermostat seemed not to respond. But, highly recommend a stay here.

Directed to park in the farmyard near the tractor instead of near the apartment despite there not being another person or car on site. Not sure what that's about. Just seemed odd, and a little paranoiac. Remember to type "*" at the beginning of the door code number you are provided, as well as at the end.

Goysa Gard is a place with an outstanding view at the Lysefjorfd mouth. You can enjoy it from the window or a patio outside the house. The house is bright, modern and well equipped. Last but not least, the hosts are a great couple willing to help with any challenge.

No public transport on the weekends in the Forsand town and around was a challenge for us as we were travelling without a car. Still our hosts were eager to provide us with alternatives that enabled us to visit our key destination points in the neighbourhood.

excellent location on a farm inside a small city with impressiong view to the fjord. very friendly and helpful host, large space for car parking, our apartment was well equipped, easy to access, cosy atmosphere, comfortable temperature inside the rooms, functional kitchen - during our trip with several apartments, the best one. perfect starting point to Preikestolen, no traffic on the way there - just on the walking route itself

our apartment has a bunk bed, that might be a little disturbing if one needs to get up during the night time (the bed type was noticed before)

Spacious farmhouse on a beautiful location, with spectacular view on the fjord. Nearby all the Lysefjord hiking trails (e.g. Preikestolen). Very welcoming host who gives good advise about the area. We definitely recommend this!

Picturesque setting, very clean. Comfy bedrooms with lots of space in and out. Well stocked kitchen. Has washer/dryer which was so helpful!

The shower could use some upgrade

The view from the house was definitely a highlight, wow! Katrin gave us a warm welcome on arrival, giving us plenty of details on the area. Super easy getting in/out of the house using a code, heaps of parking space available. The sheep outside our window were a super cute added bonus, with a great outdoor setting to relax and enjoy the view. We also enjoyed the company of the friendliest cat each time we headed outside. Only a 5 minute walk to two different supermarkets, small but with everything you could need. Only about a 20 minute drive to Pulpit Rock and 5 minute drive to the Høllesli viewpoint, where we saw an amazing sunrise. Kitchen was really well equipped and bed comfy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Only minor, but the toilet had a tendency for the water to run constantly, but the sound could be blocked out at night by closing the door.

The best place to stay near Lysefjorden Quiet, very good equpment and perfectly clean apartament, Apartment is big, so there is a lot of space to put your luggage, there is tv, kitchen was amazing equiped - everything what i need to have the kitchen to make own food :) Bed very comfy, shower big and comfy, toilet the same I be back on 100% when i can visit Norway again

Perfect Little Spot with wonderful view over the Lysefjord. Perfect starting point for daytrips to Preikestolen, Kjeragbolten and City of Stavanger. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need, great and helpful hosts and the cutest sheeps!

A micro-wave would be nice.

We were three friends on a hiking trip and used the accomodation as a base to explore the region. Everything was fantastic. Kathrin (one of the hosts) welcomed us at the accomodation and gave us good recommendations regarding the area. Everything was brandnew: Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good shower and everything was very clean. Kathrin even brought some chanterelles from the forrest and some vegetables from the garden. Everything was excellent (including the swimming in the fjord (2 minute walk)!

This is a charming little farm overlooking lysefjord. Great and new appartment and a beautiful garden. Very comfortable and pleasant hosts. Good for children to run around outside
