We loved our stay in this property. We visited for a relaxing fall weekend. Enjoyed fishing and exploring Smith Lake. Had a great lunch at the Grille at Trident Marina. Thomas was a great host. He answered all of our questions and was extremely helpful. The house was super nice and super clean. Very sweet and quiet neighborhood and great location on the lake. Loved everything about our stay!

Completely renovated duplex with everything you need and more!

This was my second time renting from Thomas and Sherry and they did not disappoint! We rented both sides of this home (295 & 299) to share with 4 couples and our 4 young children. The home is extremely clean, well stocked and a great layout for families. There is plenty of space and accommodated our mix of family and friends very well; we will definitely rent again! We enjoyed the common area with the fire pit at night and it also allowed the kids a safe space to play away from the water’s edge (I have found that isn’t easy to find with other rentals as they usually don’t have much yard and it drops off into water which is scary with young kids) The house is on a quiet road and safe for walks or kids to ride bikes without much traffic. The swim dock was great for swimming and easy to load and unload the boat with our supplies for the lake day. They even have a few kayaks to use that was fun for the kids. The home truly has everything you need and much more not usually included in rentals. Everything they supplied was in great working order and higher quality as well from the furniture, bed mattress, linens, towels, kitchenware and etc. They truly try to make your stay as easy and cozy as possible and are great hosts. I can’t say enough great things!

One of the nicest VRBO properties we have stayed!! Quiet and peaceful!!! Beautiful view was a bonus!! Everything we were looking for!!! My only complaint was we couldn’t stay longer!!

Extremely clean, comfortable, relaxing and beautifully appointed duplex. Very quiet! Never heard a peep from our neighbors who had a family of six. Kitchen was well stocked with all appliances working at optimal level, including A/C and the gas grill on the backyard deck. All water 'toys' provided and at your disposal for whenever wanted. Short walk to water/ boathouse without breaking a sweat. Owners are very personable and hands on for whatever needed. Clear instructions given for check in/out. Enjoyed our time thoroughly!

The place was amazing it was peaceful practically no traffic so is very private. Our family enjoys every second of it definitely a place to go for peace and relaxation, there is kayaks, paddle boards for guess to use that was a big plus we will be coming back.

This property provided us with a super clean, peaceful lakeside stay. The property was immaculate and well updated. It had EVERYTHING you could want to have an enjoyable lake stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to going back.

Great location for smith lake tournament anglers. Plenty of parking and very close to the Smith Lake dam ramp.

The home was so nice. Everything was so clean and it was beautiful. It was perfect for a getaway for our 38th Anniversary. We enjoyed exploring the area and sitting down on the dock watching the ducks.

We enjoyed our stay and it was very comforting knowing Thomas, the owner, was nearby and easy to reach if needed. We didn’t need him, however, because everything was perfect. The walk to the pier area isn’t bad. And it was peaceful and quiet in the whole area.

Our family came to see my husband fish in his first year of Bassmaster Open Tournaments. The weather caused it to be cancelled but we took the time to enjoy some family time. The place was beautiful and clean. The lake views are peaceful. We fished, played cornhole and went to visit some local caverns. While we were disappointed at the cancellation as we drove all the way from Ohio this nice place allowed us to still enjoy our family time and make lots of memories!!

The location of the property was great. We sat on the front porch, relaxed and just enjoyed the lake. We sat on the boat dock and enjoyed the sun. We sat by the fire pit one evening and enjoyed each other’s company. The house was very clean and like the ad says , we only had to bring our food. The best part was that it was a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Thank you to Thomas and Sheri.

This is the CLEANEST place we have ever stayed! Usually I clean before we come in when we rent a place, no need for that here. Tastefully decorated and incredibly well stocked. Everything you could need was included. Right across from the lake, wonderful outdoor area with fire pit, boat house, seating areas. Thomas and Sheri were so friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

The condo was very clean and stocked with all the essentials we needed. Loved the lake view from the front porch and the dock was perfect for swimming and docking our boat. The owners were very friendly and always on call if we needed anything. Wonderful family getaway. Will come to Smith Lake again.

Mr. Thomas was so nice and accommodating. He worked with us to reschedule our trip when our current dates didn’t work bc of something on our end. We ended up having to give our trip to Our friends (the second time around) Bc I got sick the day before we were scheduled to leave. Our friends were planning on booking the same dates for that weekend so it just worked out that they could take our trip! They couldn’t say enough great things about the place!! They said the house was so nice and clean, fully stocked with everything needed plus more! They really enjoyed their stay and said they can’t wait to go back! They said Mr. Thomas and his wife were so helpful and sweet. We will be booking again at this same lake house soon and hope to experience all the same fun they had! My friends and I had the best 4th of July weekend. The place was super clean and updated and the owner was very attentive. Will rent again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay, but the location was completely miss advertised. There is little to no privacy at all. You have one sliding door dividing you and your neighbor. It’s also not directly on the water, you actually have a little bit of a hike to the water. You also have to share a dock with your neighbors. Also the pictures made us believe there were two bathrooms, instead it’s a Jack and Jill bath. The home was beautiful and completely remodeled and had everything we needed to make our time there easier!!

We were there for a mass tournament in March 2020. Everything was fantastic at the home and from the time we made reservations Thomas made everything so easy and took such great care of us when we come back to Smith Lake we will stay in the same home.
