Fantastic location in gulf shores, spacious is condo, and great pool patio space. Dolphin watching from the condo in the morning and evenings was the highlight of the trip. Mikee’s seafood restaurant is a must!

Condo had a great view of the ocean. It was plenty of room so overall all
Was good. But there were things that made the stay somewhat difficult.
First the bunk beds were wobbly so we had to put the mattress’s on the floor.
The shower in the hall by the front door was terrible. It is a big shower head and water came out on one side only and it was not much water.
The mattress in the bedroom by the front door has high and low spots.
Not enough towels for 10 people but they did bring us more.
Ceilings in two showers are peeling and falling to floor.
Sliding door to balcony is very hard to open and close.
Kitchen utensils very outdated and the knives for preparing meals are very dull.
Coffee maker outdated but it does work and super slow.
Icemaker very slow making ice.
Drawer for trash can hard to open and close.
Entry door to condo very dirty and needs painting.
But like I said earlier the condo is nice but when you pay a lot of money for a stay it should be perfect.

The rooms were very spacious! Plenty of room for all of us plus we could have brought more! The beds in all rooms were very very comfortable and we loved the seating in the living area. The only thing I would say this condo lacked is a nice size balcony however we felt as though it wasn’t needed due to we were there to lay on the beach and spend time! Thanks so much! Definitely will book this again

Condo itself was an enjoyable stay, besides furniture being dirty and dishwasher not working. The only thing that put a damper on our trip was the elevator not working. We had a group of women on the 10th floor, one 7 months pregnant and another that recently had back surgery.

Our first day and a half was miserable due to the elevator being broken. We had to haul our luggage up 10 flights of stairs They finally got the elevator fixed later in the day on day two. Once it was fixed our stay was great. The condo was amazing, roomy, and clean. The big window views of the beach and ocean were great. We seen dolphins, jelly fish, and sand rays everyday.

The condo was great! The view was amazing. The location was perfect. Edgewater West 103 has been recently updated and was very accommodating to our large group. When we arrived there was a lot of sand on the floor like it had not been swept well. Everything else was clean and well kept. The building that it is in needs some work. It was outdated and could use some refreshing. Our first day there we got stuck in the elevator on the 9th floor for about 15 minutes. This happened one other time during our stay when it stopped on the 9th floor, but for only about 5-7 minutes. The locals that lived there were all very nice and gave advice for local restaurants. The condo had a very nice library to choose from. They also had board games and a ready to use kitchen. The internet service was fast and reliable. The television services were great, a lot of choices. The beach was perfect. We saw a multitude of ocean animals while there. We watched dolphins daily from the living room. There were also sharks and sting rays visible from the balcony and living area view. We literally had to ride the elevator down and then when you step off the elevator the ocean was only about 150 yards away. 8.5/10 overall.

We enjoyed our stay. The space was clean when we arrived and everything seemed in order. The view was absolutely amazing with a balcony off of the living room and the master bed had huge windows looking out to the beach below where we watched dolphins every morning. Direct beach access and a pool on the property. The toilet was running constantly when we arrived. A tech came by to check it and make repairs promptly. 2 parking passes are allowed for the property. Overflow parking is inconvenient. Free overflow is 2ish miles away and payed overflow is time sensitive and is still a few blocks away from the establishment. We stayed in December and there was only probably 6 vehicles in the entire parking lot. We contacted vacasa to inquire about getting permission to park our 3rd vehicle in the parking lot. We were told that we were only allotted two vehicle parking passes regardless of how empty the parking lot was for the entire weekend and there was nothing they could do. Keep that in mind if you're planning to book this room for a large family group like we had that required more than 2 vehicles. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this unit.

This condo was beautiful! Roomy, beautiful, had everything we needed! The only complaints we had was that the A/C wouldn’t get below 75, and the second master bed bed was so hard, I couldn’t sleep. Besides that, it was perfect! Plenty of room for 13 people!

The view of the ocean was absolutely amazing. The condo was so spacious and nicely decorated. The living room furniture made us want some just like it since it was so comfortable and all of the adjusting recliners were a hit for sure. Loved how close the building was to the water, so it wasn’t a long tiresome hike to and from the beach. Being in the penthouse in a smaller building had the perks of only three condos on that top floor, therefore the elevator was always quick and hardly ever other people on it. I’m sure it helped being September. We would definitely come back to this condo!!!

Beautiful views from front room, balcony, and bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils, washer/dryer came in handy and the place was very nice. Recommend new coffee machine and a broom/dustpan to easily sweep things up. Other than this place was exactly what we needed and would love to stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved that this location is right on the beach just a few steps and you're on the sand. There's a large, spacious pool area too when you need a break from the saltwater.
However the cleanliness of the penthouse needs some tweaking. The floors were really dirty and we found a sorkel mask and a men's deodorant in a couple of our pillowcases so that makes us assume the bed linens weren't stripped from the beds and washed before our stay.
Also, in parts of the house the ceiling looks like it's buckling and falling. But other than being an eye sore that didn't bother us.

The windows of the condo overlook the beach and spectacular ocean view! We watched sting rays swim at the sand bar, and also saw dolphins just a short distance from shore. The condo is decorated nicely and rooms are spacious. The swivel captain chairs overlooking the ocean were well used! Our family of 13 really enjoyed this destination. The pool was located right next to the beach so was very beneficial. The kids played in the waves daily. The table inside was big enough for all of us to play games and work on a puzzle. The site did mention an extra bed in a bedroom that is no longer there so we did bring an air mattress to use. We made dinner each evening and would have liked to have larger baking pans/sheets, but we managed with no problem. I would highly recommend this condo for a girl's trip or family trip!!

Edgewater West 103
The condo was even more beautiful than the pictures displayed! There was much excitement by all when we entered and took in the view of the ocean right from the living room windows. We saw a dolphin the first day we were there with lots of marine life from the condo. The entire condo was extremely clean and stocked with plenty of towels, along with a washing machine and a dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed, blender included. The coffee pot seemed to be missing a piece that caused it to hold water in the strainer. It was a little messy but still brewed coffee. The mattress in the bedroom with a full bath (not the master bedroom) was hard; it felt like we were turning on a piece of wood. The rest of the mattresses were extremely comfortable! Check in and check out were super easy! We absolutely loved our stay here! Thanks for the wonderful time and memories!

Amazing family vacation
We loved our stay at Edgewater West 103. The views alone are worth 5 stars. The entire wall of windows plus balcony offer amazing views of the beach and ocean and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. Beautifully laid out condo with plenty of room for four couples to gather to visit or play games, but also to have alone time if needed. Kitchen had everything we needed and the washer/dryer was an added plus. We are already talking about next year.

Beautiful Stay
We had an incredible time on our stay in Gulf Shores. The condo was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed watching out of the huge windows off of the living room. We were accommodated quite well and really don’t have any complaints.
I am happy I read through the reviews beforehand though because the pictures don’t accurately represent the room set ups. 3 bedrooms have only 1 bed, while the fourth bedroom has a queen with a full/full bunk and trundle.

Stuffy
The place was lovely albeit some cosmetic problems in the master bath ceiling. We were greeted with sticky floors and beds that were straightedge but concerned for not washed. We had problems with air conditioning for 3 days but finally fixed. Mgt was responsive. The view was breath taking and it was convenient. We would rent it again.

Upon my return home, I compared the unit to the post and would suggest updated pictures. I was concerned about access to the beach but it could not have been easier. All you had to do was leave the pool area and you were on the beach, no long walkway. It is obvious from former comments that most issues have been corrected. The living room has two beige colored sofas. Each had two electric reclining sections and a USB port. One picture shows a room with two beds: it doesn’t exist. Three bedrooms have one bed each. The fourth bedroom had a bed, full bunk beds and a trundle bed. Other furniture updates were pleasing. We found the beds comfortable and the kitchen had items we needed (we didn’t cook a lot). However, I don’t remember seeing a blender. No one took a hair dryer and one was not found in the unit.
I noticed a previous comment in October, 2021 and a response that no issue was found with the hot water heater. However, I reported we had an issue when 3 had showered we ran out of hot water. No one came to checked the water heater while we were there. I did not report but the refrigerator right side door did no close properly with the left side door closed.
Vacasa showed much interest in our booking and stay. Emails and text messages kept me well informed. Check in was very easy.

The views are spectacular and the location was fantastic. The floor to ceiling windows will have you not wanting to leave. We saw dolphins 🐬 two days in a row and enjoyed the spacious living and dining room. There are plenty of books and games to keep you busy if you're not at the beach, pool, or exploring the area. This was a girl's trip and there were five of us...no issues with enough beds or using the bathroom. There were also plenty of towels which was a plus.
The only recommendations I'd give are to shampoo the area rug in the living room, buy a blender, and if you're picky, fix the "E" on the sign that says PEACE.

Amazing views
This was a quality stay. The views were amazing. The windows open in the living room and the bedroom so you can listen to the ocean. The decor is extremely nice and inviting. It looks like it has recently been updated. Very clean.
