Cozy Cabin near the Comal River-Cabin #7- Farmhouse Theme. Walk to Wurstfest
Willkommen in Opie's Cabins. Diese gemütlichen Hütten sind vollständig restaurierte, 100 Jahre alte Eisenbahnhütten in der Nähe des Flusses Comal. Der Comal River ist zu Fuß erreichbar und kann vom Deck aus gesehen werden. Das Texas Tubes befindet sich nebenan und bietet Spaß im Freien. Jede Hütte ist einzigartig mit einem eigenen Thema dekoriert. Alle 8 Kabinen sind mit einem wunderschönen Deck verbunden, wodurch die Reservierung mehrerer Kabinen für größere Gruppen und Gruppen bequemer wird. Das Wurstfest und die historische Innenstadt von New Braunfels sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
Jede Kabine bietet Platz für 1-4 Personen. Diese Hütten haben eine "winzige" Küche, zusätzliche Bettwäsche und Kochutensilien werden mitgeliefert. Es gibt keine Eismaschine oder Spülmaschine. Gemeinschaft Waschmaschine und Trockner zur Verfügung gestellt.

The cabin is clean and everything you need was provided. The host was amazing. Great location near tubing.

My husband and I stayed in the adorable farm cabin #7 for an impromptu weekend break, after our daughter decided she could not take advantage of her birthday present weekend when her dog was hospitalized. My husband and I had a wonderful time! The cabin is exactly as seen on the website and close to everything. Veronica was very understanding of our last moment change in visitors. The family of deer that greeted us in the yard made the cabin even more enchanting.

The property was exactly how described - cute cabins, right on the Comal River and near some fun shops and restaurants. Also an easy drive to Gruene. It was clean, easy check-in, and when we met Veronica and her staff they were beyond kind and helpful. The deer each day were also a delight!

We loved staying here. It had everything you needed and was very clean & cozy. The cabins are decorated with great vintage and with every small detail in mind. I can't wait to share this spot with more friends and family. Being right next to river tube rental spot was great too. I will definitely be back

I don't know where to begin; first of all the host messaged us a day early letting us know we had the option of an early check in! next, we were so close to everything we had planned, it was so convenient. The host was so very polite and helpful. There is no chance we will stay anywhere ever! I hesitated putting in such a good review, I wanted to keep this lovely spot all to ourselves.

Do not pass this place up! These cabins are perfect for a stay close to the river or NB in general. We stayed in cabin 7 which was adorable! Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. A very short couple min walk to Texas Tubes. We ended up floating 2 days in a row since it was so convenient. We also loved the little semi private porch to drink our coffee and watch the wildlife.
We will be returning to try another cabin to check out the decor. Veronica thought of every little detail and we were very happy with our stay.

The property was very clean and well stocked. The property owner responds to messages quickly and professionally. The location is perfect for tubing the Comal River as the property sits directly on the river entrance. The only discrepancy I had is that the property stated that it sleeps 4. There was one bedroom with a small queen bed, and a small sized living room with a small sleeper sofa. The property discretion stated the cabin slept 4, and I assumed that meant that there would be more than one bedroom and a small pull-out sofa. Despite that, I would definitely stay again, and was more than pleased with my stay.

My husband and I had a great experience staying here. The location is perfect as a jumping off point for exploring the area. The cabin was clean, cozy and very comfortable for our quick trip. Communication with the host and checking in and out was straightforward and easy to navigate. Would stay here again.

This is the third year in a row we have stayed at these cabins for Wurstfest. Hope to continue to stay here every year. Easy walking distance to downtown and to Wurstfest. Very clean and quiet. We love staying here.

Have stayed at this property on multiple occasions. This time around wanted my extended family to come also. We rented four cabins and each cabin was incredibly cute and the yard had barbecue pits that we cooked every meal on. The proximity of the cabins to the water is perfect! Not to mention how accommodating the hostess and host are every time we come. It won’t be the last.

This was the perfect little cabin for my SIL, niece and I to have a nice weekend away to float the river! It’s in a great location, just minutes away from downtown New Braunfels and Gruene for shopping and eating out! It was very clean, super cute and well equipped with everything we needed!

Cute cabin and a perfect size for singles or couples. I stayed with my 5 yr old daughter and it was a great size for us. Great location. We saw deer in the evening and loved being close to parks

The cabins were all very clean and decorated amazing! Veronica was very nice, helpful, and easy to get in touch with to answer all questions! Close to the river! Perfect grass area to hang out in and grill. The grills were in good condition. We will definitely be coming back next year if she will have us!! Great trip!

What a beautiful, cute cabin! Very well decorated! Has everything you need! Very comfortable bed! Also has a sofa bed if needed! She had coffee, cream, sugar and filters ready to go! Cold A/C! Plenty of parking. Gas grill. Outside seating overlooking the river! Perfect central location within walking distance to Wurstfest, Schlitterbahn, and downtown. RENT NOW!!

Another fun river trip in the books!
This was our second trip to new Braunfels where we stayed at these cute tiny cabins. They are exactly what we needed, slept four comfortably, kitchenette allowed for cooking several meals and…probably 100 yards from a tubing entrance. The host is always so accommodating and neighborly. This is our annual tradition now!

Perfect Getaway
Took my sister, 10 yr old son and his friend down for a mid-week summer trip and fun on the river. Pulled up to these adorable, bright colored cabins and was immediately relieved that it was within a very short distance to the river and Texas Tubes. Couldn't ask for a better, more convenient location and the cabin set up is absolutely perfect. The cabins are cleverly decorated in themes. They are clean and very charming with all the amenities you could ever need. The host was super sweet and quickly responded to any questions we had. We drank coffee in the mornings on the porch and watched the deer run up and down the tracks. When we were hungry, shopping and local non-chain restaurants were right around the corner. A beautiful respite and thoroughly enjoyable experience. We will be back!!

Perfect little cabin
This is just the cutest place right on the Comal with VERY easy access to the river. Super clean, adorable and loved the layout. Great communication during and after booking. Can’t wait to come back again!

Clean and Exactly as Pictured
This was our first trip to float the Comal River and this cabin was perfect for my son (13) and I. My personal requirements when booking are location, clean, AC, coffee pot and nice bathroom. Easy 5 stars here. Bonus- shady deck to drink morning coffee, fantastic host, WIFI, and separate AC in the bedroom. Would definitely return with friends & family and get several cabins next to each other.
Right next to Texas Tubes, yet surprisingly quiet. It is on train track and we heard a train go past one morning, but it was a low rumble and no horn. Personally I find it soothing but worthy of noting for a light sleeper.

Cabin looked just like the pictures. It was very cute and cozy. It was amazing being able to walk to the river entrance in less than a minute. Great place to stay if you’re tubing the Comal!
