This property is beautiful and secluded. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, and the outdoor living space is perfect for a family getaway. We spent most of our time outside and felt like we were hidden in the woods. The house has plenty of space and the kids loved the upstairs den area. We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Where do we start... extreme filth, bugs, no water pressure, clogged drains all over house, no AC, chemical problems with the pool, no lake view or access... the list goes on and on. This is a very nice property and the house has a ton of potential, pool and outdoor living space is great, but it is not rental ready, especially for the price we paid. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the house starting with the fact that there is no view of the lake or access to the lake, despite a picture in the listing showing what appears to be a lake access point. There was also a picture of a TV out on the patio that was a nice selling point when we considered our rental but it wasn't there when we arrive. Least of our worries at the end of the day... We had to call the owner to send a plumber to the house after day 2 as several of the sink drains, including the shower tub, would not drain so we were showering in water above our ankles (no idea how the cleaning service would have cleaned the bathrooms with these conditions). The showers had some of the worst water pressure I have ever seen. We found bugs, had a company come over and check for more bugs, thankfully seemed to be isolated issue.... however.... as the bug company went through the house, lifting pillows, blankets, looking under furniture, the amount of filth uncovered almost made us leave on the spot. No way a cleaning company properly did their job (probably didn't wash sheets) with what was uncovered. Day 3, no air conditioning on the second floor... reach out to me for the pictures of what the filters looked like when we had to change them ourselves to try to get the AC going again! Lets just say they probably hadn't been changed for over a year. Second to last day, pool company came and determined that there was basically no chemicals in the pool resulting in them needing to "shock" the pool and put it out-of-use for several hours. It was so bad, the chemicals turned the pool completely green! To the owners credit, she was responsive, sent over plumbers, bug company, pool guy, and offered while we were there to give us a refund... although the second we left we never heard from her again and never got our refund. Like, I said, place has a TON of potential, but honestly needs a ton of TLC, a good handyman, and a top to bottom deep clean before I would spend this kind of money on a property again.

The home is beautiful. The kids enjoyed the pool everyday and there was plenty of space for everyone.

This is a great home for a family vacation. Buket goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The house is stocked with dishwasher detergent, Palmolive, paper towels, toilet pay, spices needed for cooking, aluminum foil, sandwich bags, shampoo & conditioner, etc. The pool is really nice. The house is so nice, you are surprised they rent it. I felt sad for Buket that previous guests have put marks on the walls. I know people always want to know what was not good about a place. Not much here. Two small things: first, the house doesn’t have large coffee mugs. We brought our Keurig and I enjoy large cups of coffee in the morning. The other minor thing is the closets are locked in 3 out of 5 bedrooms. For the first floor master, you can hang your clothes on hooks outside the master bedroom (where there is a cabinet to hang backpacks after school type of area). For the upstairs master, you can hang clothes in the laundry room or in the kids bedroom that have the Jack & Jill bathroom. Those 2 bedrooms had available closets. Very minor things. It is a special house we were glad to be able to rent. Lake Norman is such a clean nice lake and this is a great house!

We had a relaxing vacation centered around the beautiful pool and cabana. The backyard was private and quiet and the large home was equipped to handle our needs. The owner was very responsive to our needs (even buying a new grill when the existing one broke).

My family enjoyed themselves. We had a great vacation!

We rented this property last September as a place for family to stay while attending/celebrating my sons wedding. First, there was Covid, and we were not sure if the wedding venue would allow the wedding as planned. I asked the owner if need be-could we hold a small ceremony at the house-the answer was yes for a fee-very appreciated. However, we were very thankful that did not occur because we were disappointed with the property. When we arrived, the property looked beautiful from the outside but the following was very concerning: dryer not working-repaired a couple days later after my insistence; limited/stained linen (owner did come and provide more but it was not great linen), children's toys everywhere-including bath toys in the shower and all over the dining room, no doors on closets in 2 bedrooms, jewelry being sold in the master bath-still don't get that!! Told-no shoes upstairs but the stair carpet was absolutely filthy. The master bedroom did not have window shades which may be fine for some but not us. The kitchen cabinets were jam packed with owners/prior tenant food items-no place to put ours. The refrigerator was filled with prior tenant items-we never would use open jars. The outdoor space could be lovely but the grill was so full of grease, we had to scrub a lot because there was concern about a fire (from a fireman). Landscaping could be beautiful-but was full of weeds. I could go on but I would never rent this property again or any other property owned by this property renter. In addition, I have rented from VRBO on many occasions-always had a great experience until now.

Our family didn't want to leave the house. We planned a lot of on property activities and loved the pool, hot tub and outside area. The inside of the house was nice as well. Loved having a bedroom for everyone!

We have rented many properties on or near Lake Norman. Even though this property is not on the lake, we didn't miss it at all. There is a marina close by if you want to be on the lake. stayed at this property for my nephews wedding with my family, plenty of rooms and was in a great location. The pool area and whole house is beautiful. Owner of property was very helpful. Had a great time.

Nothing was overlooked by the owner from linens to pool toys. Buket was fantastic and responsive to every question and request. She is incredibly accommodating and made every effort to ensure we had the perfect vacation - and we did!! All of us would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home in small, quiet neighborhood. Close to lake, restaurants and shopping. Large pool with beautiful night time lighting. Outdoor space with plenty of seating, grill, and flat screen tv. Owners were very accommodating and quick ro respond. Would definitely stay again in the future.
