Plenty of parking on the street outside. Our room was spacious with a super comfy bed and linen. Large towels and great shower. Nice touch of bottled still and sparkling water in the room with tea and coffee making facility. Lovely rear garden. Good breakfast. The staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

The Swan unfortunately cannot help it's location which is the same as every hotel and pub with rooms in Long Melford as the road is surprisingly extremely busy and fast at night. Maybe some double glazing might help but we like to have the windows open. On the website there was no mention of breakfast, on check in we were given a breakfast list to choose from if we wanted ,to be filled out by 8pm which was fine . I think this needs to be on the website as we were a bit put off by when booking and thought we would have to find a cafe nearby. Also think it should include tea and coffee as costing £12 although very nice and very large( 2 rounds of toast included) felt penny pinching. Also a tip ,the pastries are 3 large ones for one, so in hind sight could have been shared .

Fabulous room. Nice furnishings and a very comfortable bed. Everything you needed. Great shower and crisp linen. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble.

Location perfect. Easy to park right outside. Staff couldn’t do enough to look after us and our dog. We had dinner there and two breakfasts and all were absolutely delicious. Looked good, tasted fabulous.

Few squeaky bedroom doors - not ours. Had to really think to find a negative.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room I stayed in was so lovely and cosy.

The only problem was I could not get the TV to work. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Great location in the heart of Long Melford. They very kindly upgraded myself and my dog which was lovely of them. The hotel room was lovely and very comfortable, good size and a lovely bathroom with a shower and a separate slipper bath. Quiet at night.. would thoroughly recommend

I felt whilst the front bar was modern and clean. there were no cosy chairs to sit in and have say a coffee.

Good full English breakfast, and evening meals, bar,comfortable room with en suite, friendly and efficient staff.

Lots of traffic noise as we were at the front of the building, a shame the led lights didn't work around the bath as shown in the advertisement

We were too early for the cooked breakfast - but that was fine; we were fully aware of this, and a good variety of continental style breakfast food was available in stead.

the room was nice.

being chased after bedtime to make payment for dinner before morning. the girl knocked on our door when we were bathing asking us to pay. we had given them our card earlier as they had asked us to pay for the dogs as soon as we arrived. very awkward!

Everything about this property was fantastic. There was absolutely nothing negative to say it was above and beyond our expectations highly recommended.

it was a nice place to stay with great food. Staff were great on arrival.

We booked breakfast the night before for 0800 myself and my wife turned up in the dinning area only to find it all closed up and in the dark with no staff. The food was prepared for us (pastries) but no one there to sort it all out.
