An epic little studio to stay in! Hosts were very friendly and accomodating!

Stayed here for 11 nights while visiting family in the area. Thistle B&B was perfect for our needs and gave us some private space when we needed it. Gwen was the perfect host, always available when needed but invisible the rest of the time. Breakfast was good, bed was very comfortable and the location was also very good, just a few mins walk from Taradale shops and cafes.

Vriendelijke behulpzame gastvrouw. Ontbijt werd ruim voldoende elke dag in de koelkast klaargezet . Afwas doe niet nodig. Alle spullen werden aan het rind van de middag door de gastvrouw gewassen en schoon teruggezet

Door omleidingen elders ging er smorgens vroed vanaf 6 u veel verkeer over de weg, hetgeen goed hoorbaar was. Waarschijnlijk een tijdelijk probleem

it's just a continental breakfast, consists of milk, juice, and cereal two slices of cheese, bread, yogurt, fruit tea, coffee and two beers the ham was bad, spoiled and inedible

Location next to a very busy avenue with never ending traffic, worse yet, a traffic light makes it even worse, since you get the trucks changing gears right in front of the window and to top it off, uneven road surface and the tyres hitting the gaps making bumping noise every single car that passes by.

I liked my room space, the owner greeted me with joy and had a nice chat with her. She was very helpful. They had everything I needed for the trip. I LOVED staying there.

We were very nicely welcomed. They had good tips for us where to eat for the night. The beds were the best we had in NZ!

The property is close to restaurants and takeaways.
