How i wish we stayed longer.. we caught lots of fish we also miss one huge one almost 15lb fish 🙁 fishing rod / hook snapped but was a good experience my kids enjoyed fishing..view was so serene during sunset and sunrise 😍 . Definitely recommend this place ..

We had a great time at Jerry’s. House was cute and cozy and newly remodeled. Jerry was a great host and answered every and all of our questions. Will definitely book another trip. Had everything we needed for the house and has a great view of the lake.

We stayed here last year and it didn’t disappoint! Everything was perfect again super clean and nice. Everyone had a blast. Jerry is great to rent from. We actually caught a lot of catfish anywhere from 2-10lbs off the dock after dark. Kids loved it. We will definitely stay here again sooner rather than later. A lot of fun memories were made!

We had a great time at this lake property. We have stayed at a lot of places in Cedar Creek Lake and we enjoyed this one. Check in was easy and the house was so clean! It had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. Our boys loved the lily pad and the 3 kayaks. It was warm when we went but we managed to catch 2 catfish off the dock. Sunsets were gorgeous! Thanks for a great stay!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had a fun time out on the lake and loved waking up on the mornings to the beautiful view of the water. My kids also loved fishing off the dock and catching lots and lots of catfish! There were plenty of fish to catch and they felt like true fisherman! 😁 Jerry, the owner, was very kind and very easy to get a hold of if we had a question. Would recommend this place for a short getaway or even a week stay! 😊

I was very impressed with everything about this nice getaway spot everything was clean and neat as well as fully furnished with many extras love that i was pet friendly and very well priced jerry was very quick to answer and questions and also made a couple of recommendations of places to catch dinner and visit definitely will book again

This was a great property to stay at. We all enjoyed the lake fishing, swimming and just enjoying the atmosphere. The home was clean and had every thing we needed. Jerry was great in communication I had told him before we came that I had little ones coming and he went straight out and bought them a little pool to swim in. He was just a very nice host. The kids enjoyed s’mores by the campfire. The kayaks and swim floats was a great bonus. We literally spent most of our time on the lake. I will definitely be seeking Jerry out on my next visit. I really appreciated him.

Important and much appreciated things that are both unusual for vacation rentals: the beds were quite comfortable, and the AC worked well! Using the kitchen was a little challenging -- the vent does not work very well (which was indicated in instructions). The oven needs to be set about 10 degrees higher than you're aiming for. There is a lot of plasticware, but glassware is limited, and there were only 2 coffee mugs. The bugs that love to come into the house and hang out on the ceiling are alarming, because they look like mosquitos, but they seem harmless. The property was right next to the bridge, so there is a lot of traffic sounds -- not exactly zen and peaceful, which it looks like in the pics. We made good use of the kayaks and the float pad, and the husband caught a ton of fish off the dock, once he started using worms from the store just down the road. The owner was quite helpful when I reached out re: boat rental (we decided not to, because of timing and the water being super choppy the morning we wanted to go out.) The other thing to be aware of is there is no easy entry/exit into the water, other than the dock ladder, so our pup couldn't go swimming (he's almost 100 lbs, so there would be no way I could haul him back out.) Other minor things: the washing machine seems cantankerous. It turned on once but would not do so again. Also, there are few bedside tables, so we had to make do with empty boxes and chairs. Overall, it was great for a quick getaway!

House is amazing! Clean and new amenities. Owner is accomadating and helpful. Beautiful spot right on the water. Will be back.

Jerry ,The Owner is responsive and very helpful! The property is very clean and modern with an open concept. We could've used a bit more seating and side tables but, we made it work. Great place for water activities and lake enjoyment. The only downside we couldn't fix...the causeway is right there and very noisy for hanging oitside on the porch to enjoy the view~

Updated home in small community area with great lake view and good fishing. Owner was super easy to work with. Nice place for a quick weekend getaway, close to several boat launches, restaurants and shopping. Really enjoyed our stay!

everything was great, from the booking to communication, location & all around atmosphere. I asked the host for a few extra hours for checking out and he was so kind to do so.. next time there’s an event my family wants to attend in the area, I’m definitely booking this!

The house is newly renovated super modern. Very cute. Plenty of room for a family with children. The third room is connected to the second room. The master suite has a beautiful view of the lake. The beds are all extremely soft. The owner was extremely communicative and super nice. Has a great dock.

Relaxing and enjoyable trip to Cedar Creek Lake. Jerry goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay absolutely perfect. I highly recommend stay here and Jerry as your host.

This place was awesome. We came out for Father’s Day and hubby definitely enjoyed it as much as the kids. Host was great. Had all the essentials and just an overall great place. We will definitely be back.

Can’t wait to see what else you build! Location to Walmart and coffee love like 5 min. 10 min or so to where we rented a boat. We also used your huge float out back which was great. Didn’t want to leave !

My husband and I enjoyed a much needed weekend away from Dallas — this was a quick drive to a beautiful home with stunning lakefront views, and we’d come back in a heartbeat! Jerry made the process seamless. The neighbors were so kind and welcoming. The house is fully stocked with amenities. The only surprises were a room with a bunk bed (the listing photos appeared to have 3 large beds) and no personal dock for the house. However, even without a dock, there’s easy access to the water and kayaks and a large float that fits an entire family. We had a blast with our 2 kids and another couple.

Beautiful property! Perfect for a few relaxing days on the lake with my boyfriend. Jerry was very welcoming and the house has everything you could possibly need during your stay!

Jerry was a fantastic host, met us at the property and gave us a complete tour of the place. The house was just as beautiful as the pictures looked. The kitchen was well stocked along with lots of water toys. Great neighbors to add to the great atmosphere of the place. It was a great location as we had family from the Austin area and Metroplex. Gun Barrel has a Walmart and a Brookshire not too far away should you need anything along with several restaurants. Such a fun relaxing long weekend, We hope to be back again.

At the last minute I was able to book this home to celebrate my birthday. It was perfect! Beautiful home, very clean, and had all the items you need for cooking and hosting a small gathering. The neighbors were amazing, they joined in the festivities as well by coming over to introduce themselves and also bringing over gifts on my birthday which was very sweet and unexpected! It is always great to rent a beautiful home such as this one that also has neighbors who are so welcoming of out of town renters. The owner was exceptional, met us when we arrived and personally showed us around the house while wearing his mask for everyone’s protection which was very respectable. We had an amazing time and look forward to renting this home for a longer stay soon.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the house. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Each bedroom has their own bathroom which was very helpful after a day on the lake. Highly recommend!!

This was the perfect getaway for the week! Beautiful new house with every amenity you could possibly need. Walmart and a few fun spots to eat close by. We made great use of the rafts and kayaks. Neighbors were also very friendly! Jerry was a fantastic host - thanks for a wonderful stay!

Cannot say enough on how amazing our weekend away was here! The house is beautiful with amazing views of the lake and sunsets from all areas of the house! Not only are all amenities brand new and nice, but Jerry came through with so many more things like a kitchen stocked with so many extras for cooking, all paper goods for bathrooms, towels for showering and extra for lake use! Also came with floats and kayaks to use as well! Everything you’d need to enjoy the lake, without having to tote out a ton of stuff with you! Have never experienced so many things offered by an owner! AND LET’S NOT FORGET ABOUT THE NEIGHBORS!!! We were welcomed right away by Lezlee, and they were kind enough to share anything we needed including tying up our rafts to their dock! They were amazing at giving us our space, and also great conversation while hanging on the patio watching the sunset! You will not be disappointed at all with this rental. Jerry is a great man that is close by to help you with anything you need, even though you won’t need to ask as he’s thought of everything already!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is beautiful and equipped with pretty much everything you’d need. Sunsets are awesome with the westward facing view. The large windows facing out ensure you’ll see the lake from practically wherever you are in the house. We appreciated having the kayaks to use. Neighbors were all very nice. Neighborhood was quiet and closely located to stores and restaurants. Jerry was super friendly and helpful.
