Breakfast was given promptly in the morning, the staff did knock quite few times for us to receive the breakfast. They also served them with iced teas. View is great, you can see the sea given the high location of the lodge. Sheets were clean. We were provided with blankets and towels. Airconditioning works well. Staff were responsive to our messages. There was a common table and seats in the lodge for guests to use. One bed can fit two people. Extension cord is provided.

Curtains weren't enough to provide privacy in the room. Half was a blackout curtain, half was sheer. We had to put use the blanket to provide us good privacy in the evening. Better provide two blackout curtains and a sheer curtain in the middle. The private bathroom from the listing was different from the one we used. The private bathroom smells. Maybe provide a scented candle or anything that can make the smell bearable. Water wasn't that clean. From our second night by 9PM, water was not available. We were told it might not be available overnight, which was disappointing. It came back around 11PM however. We were told there was an available restroom downstairs but again, the stairs are steep so we didn't bother because we needed to rest. It wasn't soundproof too, you can hear the neighbors. It was fairly a good stay but quite disappointing.

The location is alright, I liked that we had a private bathroom. The caretakers in the property were friendly.

We were told to bring towels and our own toiletries and when we arrived, there were toiletries. It also said on the booking confirmation that there was 1 double bed and 2 bunk beds, when we arrived there were only 2 bunk beds! and there were 3 of us. We planned on having 1 bed each and when we contacted the owner they had told us that they only had a mattress and no double bed. If we knew about this, we could have booked a place somewhere else. Very confusing information provided online. It was also noisy, we could hear our neighbours from both sides. We asked for longganisa for breakfast and there was only 1 piece of longganisa, I was a little sad about that because there was more rice and egg than longganisa. Overall, good thing we were out most of the time.

We arrived very early at around 6am in the hotel, the staff already welcomed us and allowed us to check-in early for a reasonable fee. We were able to rest and sleep before going for a beach. It was really nice. The location was also next to Vessel and nearby hip places like Funky Quarters and La Gula Bakery.

No hot water but it’s okay, not a deal breaker.
