A home from home. very stylish. Jo, the host, is super helpful. The key app is easy to use ( just make sure your phone has good battery )

The rooms were spacious and well-presented. Good facilities and easy to use. 20 minute walk into the centre, good shops and restaurants within 5-10 minutes.

The bedroom was stuffy because there were no accessible windows. Parking was tricky because you could only pay to park outside for 4 hours only and free parking was a good 10 minutes walk away.

Jo was absolutely amazing. Apartment super nice and very clean, location great. What else you can ask for?

This is a gorgeous property in a really good location. Mill Road is one of my favourite roads in Cambridge, and you can walk to the city centre in about 15 minutes. The property is superbly decorated with everything you could need - very tasteful, great theme. Fantastic bathroom, lovely bedroom downstairs and well equipped kitchen.

Although it accommodates 4, we found the sofa bed small - certainly okay for the one night. The pub opposite generated some noise at night - not really surprising on a hot summers evening.

Location excellent. Able to accommodate our dog. Bedroom quiet & bathroom facilities excellent.

Found access with key code difficult but possibly our lack of experience of such.

Parking was an issue for us even though the station was local. Bathroom would benefit from a refurb

The three of us stayed for one night, it was lovely. Lots of space, clean and has everything you can think of. Location is ok, a little out of the city but lots of nice restaurants and cafes near by.

The shower isn’t very powerful.

The location and décor. Hot Numbers is located just off Cambridge’s Mill Road, which oozes character and has excellent shops and restaurants. The historic City centre is nearby. The apartment, a shop conversion, is beautifully decorated and has pictures which refer in a nicely understated way to its previous existence as a record shop. I remember the shop. The kitchen is well equipped. Parking in Cambridge can be hard and here, you have to find space on the street and use pay and display. On this trip though, that wasn’t difficult.

I’m being a bit picky mentioning this. The property has self check in, which usually means a key safe. This property asks you to download a particular app to your phone, register using your email address, then send your host the address so she can send an electronic key to your phone. Which if the instruction had arrived before I left home would have been easy. By the time it was sent though, I’d been without access to broadband for six days, data for using the hotspot on my phone had run out and due to the pandemic, public space Wi-Fi wasn’t easy to find. The last time I booked with a host who just assumed that everyone travelling is fully online, I lost the booking and had to find somewhere else at an hour’s notice. This time my travelling companion used his phone, but hosts in general might want to think about the fact that attractive as electronic options may seem, we’re not yet at a point where you can take it for granted that everyone who books will find them usable.

Location great for railway station and short walk to town. Apartment warm, clean and comfortable. The Tapkey App was convenient and easy to use
