I cannot recommend this place enough. It felt like a hidden gem, with beautifully kept gardens, super clean rooms, great pool and the nicest staff you could ask for. The outdoor bathrooms are amazing and very spacious.

Nice clean pool, rooms are great and clean, and we really loved the staff who was very flexible for us (coffee early morning for surfing), helpful if you have questions. The staff was doing more than what you can usually expect (proposing coffee or tea at any time). Calm place with wild animals nearby (very charming).

It needs to have a dryer because we couldn’t do the laundry…

Beautiful villa colonial style, very well decorated, with swimming pool. The room is very spacious, open bathroom and bed is super comfy!

We were so happy with our stay at Stuthi villa. The staff were wonderful - they were so kind, and so helpful. The breakfast was lovely and we could take breakfast at any time. The place was beautiful and quiet, the room was lovely and the bathroom was clean. The pool was also amazing. The staff also allowed us to use the room on the day we checked out as a late check out without charge. We were so grateful for how kind they were.

We did not have a fridge in the room - that is the only thing we would have liked to change about this place.

An extraordinary property! It looks better in reality than in pictures !! The owner is an extraordinary man ready to help you at any time, communicative, joking, an extraordinary man who made us feel at home! The most beautiful and good accommodation I had in the 11 nights spent on the island! Besides the owner, the staff is always with a smile on their face and ready to help you. Recommend massage in the property garden!

Everything was amazing. The place itself is very calm and good to relax, with a beautiful garden and pool area. The bedroom was very comfortable and well kept. The Sri lankan breakfast was really tasty, we loved it. And a special shout-out to Asanka, who was very welcoming and did everything for us to have a really nice stay. Thank you!

Breakfast - they had a good Sri Lankan spread for us, but the portions of the curries and sambols that came with the hoppers and strings hoppers were not enough at all.

Stuthi Villa is a hidden gem just minutes away from Ahangama main road. The place is beautiful and super peaceful. Rooms were big, clean and very comfortable. The outdoor jungle shower was just the best final touch. The staff at Stuthi Villa was super welcoming. Every morning Asank would cook for us a simple yet delicious breakfast in the garden - one day he also made for us delicious coconut rotti!

Very quiet and peaceful property, and decently close to the beach. Nice pool. The host Asanka and the watchman were great and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay.

It’s a beautiful and quiet place to relax. The Villa has a beautiful garden and it is an absolute joy to relax at the pool and watching the birds flying around. The whole garden is in a very good shape and the lovely staff really do a great job maintaining it clean and natural. We have had a lovely room with an outstanding outdoor bathroom. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net. The host was fantastic. He takes care of everything and is super friendly, reliable and helps you out with whatever question you have. We have been there at the beginning of our holidays and decided to come back at the end since we enjoyed so much. Definitely a perfect stay if you are looking for a quite place to hide out.

Asanka is the best host you’ll ever find! He makes the perfect Sri Lankan Omelet for breakfast, cleans the rooms superb and is a very reliable and friendly man!!! He, Wasante and Siri form a perfect team that made us feel welcome like home away from home. That together with the beautiful Villa, nice rooms and the paradise garden makes Stuthi Villa the perfect holiday location in Ahangama!

While it’s a little bit inland, it takes some effort (tuk tuk) to go surfing.

We had a very pleasant stay at Stuthi Villa. The rooms are comfortable and convenient with an outside shower. The villa feels like a paradise and a perfect quiet place from which you can explore the area. The host Asanka was the best: very friendly and helpful in giving tips to explore the neighborhood. Each day together with the neighbors he prepared very nice and fresh local breakfast. We would love to go back in the future!

The owner and staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is good and the coffee is great! Nice pool and nature all around. The villa is beautifully made and furnished, and the outdoor bathrooms are awesome. We will be back to stay, for sure.

This is a little piece of paradise-tucked into the jungle of a village 7min by tuktuk from Anhangama, this architectural design diamond is a real oasis. If you appreciate small boutique guest houses, this is a great find. The bungalow style comes close to Bawa-tropical minimalism at its best. Comfy rooms with stunning outdoor bathrooms; a glorious cool pool and much garden splendor: mongoose, black face monkeys, kingfishers, oriole and bats at night. The two wonderful gentlemen staff are never too busy to smile and serve tea or a fresh fruit juice- they run the house and the garden with calm, kind generosity. Breakfast is either scrumptious local or fruit and eggs.

The villa is very well decorated, the setting was nice, the pool too. it’s cleaned and good value for money.

Noise from other rooms, you can hear other people’s snoring. The setting is nice, but I don’t think the location is great: you need to take a tuk tuk to reach the Kabalana beach and also to go to most restaurants. There is no one at night and there are dogs wondering around the property: they have damaged 2 pairs of shoes which I had left just outside my room in the inner yard (the owner apologised and I didn’t pay for the room at the end although shoes value was 3 times the room value), still it felt pretty annoying because this isn’t be a regular thing and they should warn guests. It would have been nice to have mosquito net.

Stutti villa is like jungle oasis! Really nice and tidy garden, rooms are spacious, clean and we loved the open air bathroom. Asanka and the gardener were really helpfull and kind. We would reccomend this villa to everyone. It is a grate place to rest in the nature and the staff is wondefull!!

Stuthi villa is a fantastic place. Everything about the villa is perfect. I had an absolutely wonderful time there. I would certainly go back if I could.

The staff was super friendly, Asanka made us feel super welcome and made a delicious breakfast ☺️a really small cute place that’s perfect for couples. Bonus point for really good coffee 🥰

I do feel like the value for money could be a little better - for instance when paying close to $90US per night, I think there should be shampoo in the shower and a mosquito net over the bed.

Excellent coffee was available and attentive friendly staff would regularly check in with us. The villa is beautifully designed to merge aesthetics with nature and Sri Lanka. Big thank you to the staff Asanga and Wasantha who were so kind and helpful with everything.

Nothing to dislike

Incredible villa, nearby the ocean and in the jungle! We had the chance to be at the villa when the owner, Stéphane, was there. Him and his staff were very welcoming and warm hearted. We shared several meal with him, making us feel part of his family. Regarding the villa, it is beyond beautiful and relaxing. Everything is very well taken care of and the staff is at your disposal should you need anything. All the amenities are new and work perfectly. Stephane told us a lot of stories about Sri Lanka and it's experience there which was definetly a plus. We will come back for sure

The design of the place and the rooms is really curated and nice.

Service is basically non existent. Internet doesn't get to most of the áreas of the hotel. Not even soap in the washroom.
