We had a fantastic stay on Uros. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had gorgeous views. Manuel and his family looked after us very well, from picking us up from the harbour to cooking a very tasty dinner in the evening. A highlight was having a hearty breakfast served on our sunny balcony with a stunning view of the lake. A very special place to sit back and relax.

Very accommodating and helpful staff

The islands were beautiful and staying on the Uros islands was a fantastic experience. The food was great including the free breakfast. We paid a little extra to get a balcony but it was definitely worth it as we had a double bed outside of our cabin right next to the lake which was a perfect spot to relax and sunbathe whilst recovering from altitude sickness.

The rooms don't have any heating and the nights get very cold. They have lots of blankets but they are so heavy that you can't move when they are wrapped around you and they pin you down.

It's a rare experience but do not expect much as this is a simple room on a floating island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathroom/toilet was clean and there was only one socket in the room to charge the mobile (which was sufficient).

There was a lot of "stuff" here and there on the island. Some of them were partially hidden between the reeds which could lead to some unpleasant accidents. Would be great to tidy up the place a little bit :)

It was really clean and more than enough linens etc were provided for the (very!!!!) cold nights. Manuel was absolutely amazing, and responded to every single one of our many questions almost immediately and was really helpful. The food was really tasty and breakfasts were great!

It would have been good to know that any additional meals (lunch, dinner) were 25 soles per person per meal, the food was great but good to know that it’s difficult to do anything else in advance!

We came to relax for one night and we could not have wished for a better stay. The room was really nice, had wonderful view and the breakfast was by far the best we've had in Peru. I definitely recommend using the transfer the hosts offer as it is reliable, you get to see the surroundings and it is not expensive at all.

Such a great experience. The rooms with the view directly on the lake are exceptional, so is the host family. We had such a great time. Manuel and his girlfriend helped us to get to the island and I never met a more friendly family. They helped us with the altitude sickness by providing coca tea at our arrival and showed us the neighbor islands on a personal boat trip. The breakfast was amazing and prepared with a lot of heart. At night it can get pretty cold, but the shower is hot. Would totally recommend for people who want to experience the life of the Uros.

You get to sleep in the middle of the lake and watch the best night sky of your life. A very interesting experience.

The food was very nice especially considering we are vegetarian which is not always the easiest to cater for. The family were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Offered a range of tours that suited our needs. Very good value for money

Manuel and Jenny were very helpful and friendly; good breakfast and the room has a great views; they organized a private tour for us because we had to leave early.

Jenny and Manuel are amazing hosts. They welcomed us as part of the family and helped us fetching all our tours and transportations.The bed was comfortable and the facilities are as good as it gets given the location (there is hot water in the shower and its possible to charge the phone). Breakfast was also great. The location is extraordinary.

Great location on the lake with beautiful views across to Puno. The first night we were in the main suite with our own bathroom which was basic but pleasant enough. The owners are very friendly and try to be helpful when you can find them. The food was nice and the breakfasts provided were lovely.

The couple who own the hotel don’t speak any English which made communications a little challenging however one of our main issues was that we couldn’t find them a lot of the time and had to text them often to ask about meals etc.

We really liked the hospitality of the family! They are so friendly and the island where they live is beautiful. They offer breakfast service which is great and other meals cooked at the moment by them. The room we booked was really comfortable and big, we had a private bathroom and a warm bed, we could even charge our phones there! The private service tour that Manuel offered us to learn about the Totora, was amazing, my favorite part.

The only thing we didn't like was a moment of the private tour when we went to another island to know "how people live there" but we were just brought to a small shop. The other part was amazing.

It is a unique experience but rougher than what we thought. The room is very basic. No electricity in the room and the shower is hot but very slow. It is more f an adventure than what we thought or understood from the web-site
