We loved this cabin and the location can’t be beat. Right around the corner from Highlands and surrounded by great hiking and waterfalls.

We had a great stay, this house is a very short drive to town. Clean property with nice beds and baths. Owner was right next door and very welcoming and helpful.

Our family loved this home for the holidays! Beautiful area for a family to relax during Christmas! The fireplace was definitely a wonderful bonus with plenty of wood under the porch!

Loved the location. The upstairs bed wasn’t super comfortable and the house had a bit of a smell to it. Other than those two things it was great!

This may have been the cleanest vacation home we've ever rented - it was stocked and ready with everything we needed, it was immaculate and made it very easy to feel right at home. Keith was in great touch with us and made himself available if we needed anything. The proximity to town made it super convenient. We would not hesitate to stay here again - the house was great.

We arrived on Thursday & the hurricane was supposed to bring bad weatherKeith & I talked before our arrival about possibilities. Weather was great, cottage was well appointed and all was super. Perfect long weekend with my daughters. Comfortable beds, great bedrooms and bathrooms, fireplace was super for a cozy evening fire. It was a wonderful place for us and I would love to go back again!!

The setting, particularly the grounds, were beautiful. The home was well stocked, and about every need anticipated. We had a plumbing problem while there and the owner was somehow able to get a plumber to come out on a Sunday to fix everything. Well done and we hope to stay there again.

We could not have been happier with our stay. The house was very much like the description. Close to town yet in the Nantahala forest. Great location! We cooked home 3 nights, with our choice or the green egg or the weber. Great kitchen very well stocked. Keith was a great host! He went out of his way to be sure we were happy with our stay. This property is a must see and stay! Keith, the owner, was extremely gracious. The internet was down and he sent us champagne and then a partial refund! So unexpected both times. We would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! Very peaceful and close to downtown but far enough away for quiet. We WILL definitely be back!

Enjoyed our stay at Bowery Road cabin. The property location really suited our needs. The cabin was a bit small for 5 adults, especially with the loft space being unfurnished. The loft would have been a nice additional seating to have a cup of coffee and read.. Bedding was fine but we had a few of us who would have preferred down alternative pillows. Kitchen was well stocked only comment would be better lighting in kitchen/living room.

We could not have been more thrilled with our stay. The cabin is back off the road in a beautiful wooded setting, immaculately clean with a nicely appointed kitchen, comfortable living area, cool decor, a relaxing front porch with four rockers and less than 5 minute drive to lots of activities and to downtown Highlands. Keith was out of town but called to check in with us. Perfect!

We had a great stay in HIghlands and the weather did not disappoint. The owner, Keith, is very knowledgeable about the area and loves to share his knowledge of Italian cooking and wines. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked and included All-Clad cookware, a barbecue pit, and a Green Egg for grilling. My wife really enjoyed "glamping" in this cabin in the woods.

This property is so impressive! Quiet surroundings, yet short, easy drive to town (Highlands). Very clean, well appointed interior. Loved the covered front porch. We had a lovely stay in this sweet little house nestled in a woodsy area near the Nantahala National Forest. It was the best of both worlds, we were in a quiet location, but just a hop, skip, and a jump to the quaint town of Highlands NC. We highly recommend.

Keith’s house appears newish or recently renovated. It is a simple drive to downtown and set in a beautifully landscaped, private wooded lot. The house is very clean and very well equipped. Loved his Viking stove and AlClad! If you are à Garcia fan you will particularly enjoy the artwork! The stairs to the upstairs owner’s bedroom are steep and would not work for some, but there are two additional small bedrooms on the main floor. I would recommend this house and the owner was great to work with!

We loved our stay at this property. It was in a very quiet, calm area with beautiful surroundings. We were traveling with an 18 month old, so we loved that it was close to town to eat/pick up items from the grocery. We also loved that it was near some fantastic hikes (Whiteside Mountain was our favorite) and very close to the Highlands Botanical Garden which we visited several times. The owner was great to work with and very accommodating. The place was super clean, too. Would definitely stay here again!
