Quiet grounds on a secured beach front property. Mayet and staff, and especially Jay our waiter were welcoming and so nice and went out of their way to make our stay at Maykenn exceptional. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. We wish we had more time to just enjoy the resort like feeling.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel.

The view is great from the balcony if you choose seaview rooms, the territory is secured and locked at night with guard present 24/7 if that is important to you. The AC was nice and relatively quiet, not the cheap and noisy one as in most places there. The bed was good.
In general - the price value ratio is below par. No window blinds, so you are greeted by the rising sun early in the morning. The existing curtains only catch about 50% of the light. The breakfast is not for the taste of Europeans, greasy sausages and fried ham with egg. You would expect good fruit selection in that area but you get 2 tiny one bite slices of watermelon or pineapple and I mean tiny. Room maintenance was done on every other day, coffee packs and water were not replaced, found out myself last day that there was a water re-filler around the corner. No hot water in the rooms, only as hot as it gets with the weather, so it was not completely cold. The steps of the stairs are very steep to the second floor rooms, so I would not recommend it for elderly people, almost knee high. The bar is used only by visitors and since the place only has few rooms so if you travel alone then you would be drinking/eating alone too. Its about 2,5km to Santa Fe bars and restaurants.

Amazing property, the staff was exceptional. Very nice room. AC worked great. Food was good and the view of the ocean was fantastic.
Nothing to complain about. One recommendation- the shower tube is very stiff and causes a bit of work to maneuver.

The owners were accommodating and all the staffs were polite.
It’s quite far from Santa Fe proper and it’s quite hard to get a tricycle from Maykenn during the evening. The price for their restaurant menu is quiet pricy for the servings.

The staff were very nice. The location is very accessible and is near the port. The place is quiet also. Breakfast is good.
Food is great tho a bit pricey. The beach during our visit was not so good.

Property was clean and well maintained. Private beach was a very nice addition and the food at the restaurant is some of the best on the island. Staff were always welcoming and polite and couldn’t be more helpful.
Gardenview rooms were slightly smaller than seen on pictures but were okay for a couple or solo traveler.

Clean rooms and super friendly staff! They Work day and night to make your stay supercomfortable!
The restaurant has great local food Even made us fresh fish and fresh crab off menu at two occassions.
Was not thrilled about The location, a lot off dirt and some trash in The ocean, and The beach is only Nice on their property, feels like a trashsite right next to it. I do reccomend renting a motorbike to move around The island and Get Access to better beaches

Cute place by the beach. The whole hotel area is clean and good taken care of. The staff is super friendly and did their best to provide comfort and fun for us. EXCELLENT food, we ended up eating almost every meal at the hotel.

Great place to stay, super clean, great staff and very helpful. They take care of me since the beginning. The food was delicious, tasty and prepared with love. I would strongly recommend this place to stay. Sure I will back soon.

It is a perfect place to spend the year end holidays: we felt at home. The food was excellent and we barely went out to restaurants outside.

not much to like. we never stayed there.the beach was under construction and nobody made mention of that when we booked our ticket.we went on a beach vacation.we were never refunded.
we arrived at noon and told to wait until 2 pm to check in,even though we were the only guests there.the food on the menu was overpriced.we didn’t stay there because the beach was under construction and they wouldn’t refund our money.

Owners and staff made us feel very welcome. Place was very clean and the food in the restaurant was very good. Overall a very good atmosphere.

Everything was fantastic since the beggining. Since they picked us from the port and gave as a welcome refreshment. We had an incredible attention from part of all the staff. Mayenne always was there for helping and for be sure that our stay was good (And it was!). Bed has a very confortable matress which I thanked. Hot water in shower and amenities like shampoo and gel is always very welcomed. Breakfast delicious (crispy bacon is amazing) aswell if you have lunch/dinner there you will enjoy a Lot with their homemade bread and mayonesse (Chilli burger and tuna wrap were amazing, also mango ice cream). In conclusion, everything was amazing and they were very very helpful in everything. Thank you all guys!! If we come back to bantayan for sure will be here!
I liked it all! But maybe it would be great to have a small clothes lines outside for drying the swimsuit and towels. Just a recomendation :)
