We loved the location! Restaurants and shopping so close! Herb's house was perfect for us. We so enjoyed the pool table and the pool and the back patio! The house is very well appointed and very comfortable! There are so many things to do! Herb is a great host! We've already decided we would go back in the future.

First time to Scottsdale. Very easy to walk to old town, or just walk around and see the neighborhoods. For us the house was just as much the experience as was the exploring outside. The house had everything we could have needed and more. We’ll book again soon.

We came for an old persons bachelor party (39+ year olds). The house was perfect: pool table, pool, hot tub, outdoor shading and TV, lawn games, Bluetooth speakers all over the house and outside.
This is a perfect house for 3 couples or a bachelor/ette party. It’s about a 5 minute walk (or stumble) from Old Scottsdale.
If I come to Scottsdale again I’d hope to get this house again.

All was great! Couple minor glitches, the outlet in the kitchen where the toaster is located wasn’t working. There was a clump of hair in the master shower drain, kinda gross.

There were 4 of us heading to the Waste Mgmt Open and we found this house by luck. It’s only minutes to Old Town Scottsdale and the house is perfect for 4-10 people. We spent a lot of time in the backyard using the pool and hot tub. We also loved the pool table and dart board. The owner was always available and was able to answer questions in an instant. We would all rent this house again. Incredible find!!!

This place was literally steps from Oldtown. During the day we were able to walk to restaurants and shops, and we were a 10-15 minute Uber ride from a number of great golf courses. This house provided everything we needed for a guy’s getaway weekend. The check in process was seamless.

Herb’s place was the best rental experience I’ve had! The home is well organized, conveniently located, and includes modern amenities! Bedding and furniture very comfortable and high quality. Great layout. Everything from check in, to check out was super easy. The outdoor living area was awesome, spent a lot of time out there. Stayed during busy time of year Super Bowl/Waste management open—easy to walk, short Uber, or golf cart ride to town. Herb was easy to get ahold of and super nice!

The house is very well equipped. We had a great stay. Perfect location. Lots of space.
The only very minor negative would be the sauna was very slow to heat up and we never got it to full temp. We had a hiccup with the thermostat but Herb was very active to get it fix. Herb is an active host and responds quickly to any questions.
I would recommend this location, this home, and this host. It was a beautiful home and you can tell there is attention to detail.
I would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Great place as a base of operations for Phoenix are visit and as relaxing place to chill. The pool/hot tub is an outstanding and the infrared sauna was used daily. Host Herb is very responsive and makes sure all the bases are covered for an easy vrbo stay. The best recommendation is this is our second stay and we’ll be back again!

There are lots of good things about this property: very walkable to old town, super responsive owner, lots of attention to detail (bedside clocks, extra bedside outlets, labels on cabinets), really nice backyard. Two things really bothered me and I feel compelled to share. The night before we left, I read the departure instructions, which asked that we strip the beds (fine). But left as OPTIONAL removing the washable duvet covers, only if soiled. I always look for homes with removable duvet covers, assuming they are washed between guests. I was dismayed to realize the duvet cover may not have been laundered before I spent the week cuddled up in it. Worse, however, was that when the master bed was stripped, there were two large urine stains on the mattress pad near foot of bed (dog?). There was a split opinion on whether the pad appeared to have been laundered. Regardless, the fact that housekeeping chose to keep that on the bed makes me wonder what other questionable cleanliness issues might exist. Knowing my friends had slept on stained linens was a terrible end to our otherwise nice stay. I recently spoke with a man who owns a hotel who told me that the most important employee is housekeeping staff because guests will overlook many things, but cleanliness is not one of them. Agreed. Despite the many positives, I will not return.

Wonderful In Every Way
This vacation home is near Old Town Scottsdale and is conveniently located to shopping, dining and attractions. The home itself has many upgrades such as patio misters, pool and jacuzzi. The spacious accommodations fit our group of eight perfectly and had ample storage space for our belongings. The home owner was easy to communicate with and instructions for check in and check out were explained clearly to facilitate our entry and exit at the home. Our group had only positive comments about our stay and we highly recommend this home for a stay in Scottsdale.
