Due to the recent COVID restrictions & lockdown we were legally unable to fulfil our booking at this property. The owner was slow to respond to our questions, or did not respond at all. Despite ACCC guidelines encouraging accommodation providers to treat consumers fairly, the owner refused to offer or discuss alternative options and has retained our full payment with no offer of a refund or partial refund, credit or re-booking. Disappointed with the lack of goodwill.

Friendly but not cleaned
The host was friendly and easy to deal with however the house had not been cleaned. There wasn’t a mess, however the showers and bath had significant soap scum, mirrors had water marks, very visible cobwebs in all rooms, kitchen table was sticky and beds were not fully made and some had hairs on them.
With a good clean the property was in a good location and easy to access.

Ballarat stay
The property was in a great location with easy access to it. The check in and out process was easy.
I would only suggest fixing light bulbs and a few light bulbs weren’t working. The tv also was slightly broken. The place could do with a bit of uplifting + maintenance but for short stays it’s okay.

I had booked the accommodation early December 2020. A few days before my stay, I was informed via Stayz portal from the property manager that our room was not available as the apartment was undergoing some repairs. This was extremely disappointing and badly managed on the owners part. There are several apartments and I am doubtful that all were booked out as far in advance as I had booked. My planned stay was to attend a music festival nearby and it was impossible to get alternative accommodation at such short notice. I can only assume that the repairs taking place were extremely poorly planned with no consideration for their responsibility to someone who had booked the room, or the room was made available to someone else with a longer stay. I am sure I will never know.

Couple of days away
This was a last minute booking and it was great (and surprising) to find such a lovely place for a reasonable price. The location suited us although there was a little bit of traffic noise (it is a main road) but this does lessen in the early hours. Can recommend this property.
