Kara sent excellent detailed information before our arrival. AC stopped working, and Kara was very quick to respond and get a company there to fix it as well as give us a discount for our inconvenience! Think housekeeping doesn’t pay attention to details as the fold out futon was not clean, several light bulbs burned out and no TP in bathrooms (it was in the linen closet tho). The elevators stopped working (beyond our hosts control) on day 2 which made it very hard for our elderly parents.

We were down during the hustle of spring break and this property was its own little paradise!

Excellent communication with property manager, great place to stay with kids and a family. Overlooking pool and views of sunset on Galveston bay. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a marvelous time at this resort. Close to home for a weekend trip. We swam in the lazy river, enjoyed the beach and played games in the condo making some unforgettable memories. Only complaint is that the resort charges extra for access to all the “amenities”. Other than that it was great.

Our property managers were competent, responsive, and personable. They replied and helped us with any questions or concerns! The resort had some issues with closing amenities and the elevator was tricky. The location was far from beach but the pool was really close and enjoyable.

The condo was great! Very clean rest rooms, comfortable beds, and fun ambiance. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We did have to drive to the main pool house, but took less than 5 minutes. Food is excellent at The Pointe and we had a private chef come one night, which was awesome!

We had a few issues arise, but the owner took care of all our concerns! It was a beautiful property and view.

We all had a fabulous time. Plenty of space and amenities as well as an amazing porch with a swing. It was very relaxing and great for folks of all ages. The condo was clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We loved the close proximity to the beach and the bay for fishing. Having access to the two pool areas was a nice alternate to the beach. We also liked being away from the usual crowds in Galveston. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Clean and beautiful condo , I have my son and daughters ranging from 13 yrs to 3 yrs - who loved our stay. Beach and pools are all we did - infinity pool was nice and ended the day at the lazy river. Very nice!

The place was amazing! We had 3 moms and 7 kids staying here and we had plenty of room. We loved the location, being right next to the lazy river. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels for everyone. We had one little hiccup with the garbage disposal not working, but the owner came right out and fixed it. I would highly recommend staying here.

We booked this after reading the excellent reviews a reviewing the pics. Our grandchildren were most excited about the lazy river pool right downstairs. This was the reason we picked this particular unit as there were similar units available by the infinity pool. Unfortunately it was closed when we arrived. When I asked Kara if she was aware, she indicated that she was not and promptly issued a 10% refund which I was appreciative of. The management at the clubhouse told us one thing about why pool was closed but the on-site workers had a different story… this was planned. The pool was getting resurfaced and was closed our entire stay. The other pool (infinity pool) at the clubhouse was about a mile drive on the other side of highway… and was super crowded because of the lazy river pool being closed. While Kara was super friendly and accessible, it’s hard to believe an owner was not made aware by HOA of this type of project that would result in pool being closed. I say this from experience as an owner of condo rentals in another part of TX. Overall, if the lazy river pool is not your priority, this is a wonderful and well stocked unit. If the pool is your main motivation, confirm that it will be open. Oh, one more thing… it had strange flooring that actually moved when you walked on it. Can’t tell whether vinyl or laminate… but the planks sometimes came apart when walking on it. In one case cutting my grandsons foot. Not serious, but enough to make him cry.

This condo was very nice, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing out on the balcony and the pools were great too! We will definitely be back and would love to rent this condo again!

This is our fourth time staying at the beautiful Pointe West. We have enjoyed every rental, each being a different condo every time. This condo was by far the cleanest that we have stayed at. The atmosphere was very comfortable, relaxing and very accommodating. It has something for everyone no matter how old or young. My husband was in love with the grill and we made shish kabobs. I love being able to see the sunrise and sunset and it has an extra bonus that looks over the Lazy River. You can't bet what this condo has to offer. We will most definitely be coming back again soon.

This was an amazing condo! It was spacious, including a washer and dryer, tons of kitchen supplies, and many family games available. When we made the reservation, we didn't notice that the location of this unit is bayside, rather than beachside. In order to get to the beach, we either had a long walk, a bike ride (when you borrow the bikes below that we found out belonged to other owners), or a drive to get there. The pool was also not heated, but that was likely due to the crazy winter storm that occurred a couple of months ago. Overall, it was a great place, but we will be sure to pay attention to whether a Pointe West unit is bayside or beachside when renting next time.

I'm a long time renter at Pointe West and this condo was very well equipped with kitchen items, from staple seasonings, coffee, and a plethora of cookware! I really enjoyed that because I love to cook for my family! Loved being by the pool and the "Pass". The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous! Loved the decor! Thank you, Kara!!!

Huge condo, many beds. Great location away from Galveston, with better beaches and very nice pool options. Property owner was great with communication as well.

Great accommodations, are you have to do is show up. Everything was there from pots and pans to hand soap. We enjoyed our stay thank you

This was an unexpectedly pleasurable experience in a condo with a large group. We had 9 people total and I just KNEW we'd be on top of each other. Well, not the case WHATSOEVER. This was a beautifully decorated and spacious condo and we had the best time. Kara was the most hospitable hostess, too! The condo was fully stocked with all necessary cooking items, a new fabulous grill and the balcony was a dream! The pictures posted do this property ZERO justice. I have referred this property to friends and intend to stay again!
