Clean and modern design

The location of the hotel was a little odd - nestled in a valley at the end of the road.

LOVE the outdoor space. We stayed here (paying a little more) because of the firepits. Multiple firepits and conversation spots; Music; A little road noise, but overall pretty peaceful for being right next to the interstate. I enjoyed relaxing there in the evening and the early morning with a cup of coffee. Rooms were clean. Obviously, this is an older hotel that was renovated, so while the rooms aren't huge, the use of space is excellent. Beds were comfy. There's a little road noise, but not terrible. We were too tired to go out, so we ate at the on-site restaurant. Food was good -- not fancy, but quick, good and hit the spot. Proximity to Biltmore Estate is very good and gives easy access. Moose Cafe is close by and excellent for a Southern breakfast.

Would have appreciated it if breakfast was included. It was $13 for a breakfast of eggs, sausage, and toast --- all fare that is typically free at a comparable hotel. In fact, I'd say it was more limited than many "free" breakfasts at comparable hotels that cost less. We opted not to pay for it and went out. Several of the staff actually didn't know how to use the firepits. I trained one new desk clerk, so I would say make sure everyone is trained well on that from the start since it is a huge feature of the hotel.

Where do I start? The rooms are so small, the bathroom is even smaller, the beds are so firm you hurt the whole time trying to sleep. Parking is very odd for handicapped people. Then there is breakfast!!!!! You have to pay 12.95 for something that should be free. I have never travel to a hotel that was this lacking. We travel a lot and this is by far the worse. Its pretty and clean. However that is about all, we stayed in room 317 and the traffic noise was AWFUL!!! We had to run the bathroom fan all night and get a app on our phone for white noise. The first night we got maybe 4 hours of sleep. Very disappointing to say this is a Hilton.

Did not have breakfast . Wife caught Covid , had to leave day early to return to Maumee.when we arrived the front desk would not allow us to enter. They said our credit card was canceled and we had not paid for room. I presented a paid in full receipt and they did not accept it. After 45 minutes we were allowed in after I protested . They were going to charge me 280.00 for the 2 nights but I kept showing them I paid 232.00 in full . We did get in and my wife got Covid and was very sick that evening . Rather than infecting staff and guests we checked out. They charged me 25.00 per night for incedentals which we did not use. As of Sunday we have not been refunded for night that we left early even though I was given a refund slip. Our tickets to Biltmore were postponed by the Biltmore people. Overall a bad experience. Don’t know what property manager expected when I had proof of payment and then getting Covid. Wife was sick all night .

Being more receptive to our documentation . I even had email from Hilton welcoming us and yet front desk would not accept it.

I stayed here just to spend a couple days shopping at the outlets, great location for that. Clean and comfortable! Great pillows too.

Two of the three employees that we interacted with were very pleasant. Location was good.

Breakfast was a huge disappointment! Entirely too expensive for what was on the bar and the fact that it was NOT clearly explained / marked that it wasn't complimentary was an embarrassment. Not only was I charged a fee for "incidentals" after paying in full for the room, but I was charged for drinks that were not purchased.

The hotel seemed well maintained on the exterior and in the lobby area.

We found old clothes items in our room on the floor. So we don't think the cleaning aspect must be very good. Plus we found towels with stains on them in our room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility and rooms were clean and in good repair. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. I will stay with this chain again.

The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. I'll remember to bring my own pillows for next time.
