A beautiful villa, lots of space, great for a number of families on holiday together!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.. the area around the pool gets extremely slippery but I appreciate it’s hard to do much about that but we did have a few kids slips even when not running.

The villa was huge, we loved the location, the games room and the space inside. The key was left in a key safe so getting into the property was straightforward and easy. The swimming pool was heated to a nice temperature so fine for younger children but does get very deep so we had to be very careful. We were left water, bread, butter, wine, cheese on arrival which we were grateful for. The villa must have been very grand when first built but is quite dated now and could maybe do with a little modernising in parts. New kitchen, tiles etc. I would definitely recommend it for a stay though despite any issues we experienced as overall we loved it.

The tiles around the pool and outside area became very slippy when when so not very safe for children to move around. The beds had no waterproof mattress protectors on which I didn't like when there are multiple people sleeping in the beds also all the single beds only had one sheet on and no top sheet so we had to use blankets and covers that were clearly not freshly laundered and could have been used many times. The host was helpful but we only communicated via what's app. Before arrival the host agreed we could stay for longer on the final day as we had a late flight and the villa was not booked. The night before departure the host messaged and asked us to leave at 11am. I asked if we could pay extra for a late departure and was ignored. I checked and the villa was still available so I don't know why they suddenly changed their minds but I found this last minute change a little unfair and completely changed our plans for the final day which when travelling with 5 young children made things rather difficult. It got quite chilly there at night as it was in an elevated position. We travelled there early June.

The villa is beautiful with a stunning view all the way to the sea and views of the Santa Bárbara castle and lovely sunsets. The facilities are excellent, bbq area, pool, sun beds, games room and sauna. Easy access, private driveway. Just 5 minutes drive from Teguise. Julia was very helpful and made sure we had everything we need.
