Those who stay in Richmond should know and be prepared for landing aircrafts. But this is nothing to do with the hosts, who are excellent!

This is the first time in 10+ years of using booking.com I’ve ever had to leave a negative review. The room itself is pleasant enough, and is probably totally fine if you are staying here as a single occupant and using the room only to sleep. If you are a couple or a family, just be aware that the house itself is a fairly small new build terraced house, and unfortunately the walls are apparently very thin and the owner (Maria) seemingly very sensitive to any noise. My partner and I were talking in bed before going to sleep (no music, no tv) and suddenly there was loud banging on the bedroom door and we were told in no uncertain terms to be quiet. It made for a very uncomfortable stay and we couldn’t wait to leave.
Other minor issues were that the room smelled of smoke as the owners were having a BBQ (very small garden so basically below the open bedroom window), the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly and the water pressure in the shower is inadequate. Also be aware it’s not two tickets to Kew Gardens as stated, it’s just use of the owner’s membership card, so depends if you’re comfortable with that.

The property is splendid. The room is nicely decorated, the bed is perfect (fell asleep in 15 minutes before my regular bedtime), spacious bathroom with all necessities. The room was spotless and the host very friendly.

The property was great. it was very well situated with easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, Kew Gardens and the river Thames.

It was the perfect location for Kew Gardens and exploring Richmond. The host was super nice and communication was excellent. The room is very large for London with a modern victorian vibe... really nice, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed renting ebikes and taking in all the incredible nature. The host also recommended some restaurants that were fantastic! Highly recommend this place... we'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Location for Kew Gardens excellent and room had lovely peaceful outlook parked car easily tickets for gardens a 5 min walk hosts were really helpful with directions and local amenities made us feel very welcome

The property was in a very quiet location, close to Kew Gardens (five minutes walk to Lion's Gate) & within easy walking distance to restaurants & London Transport. Maria is an excellent host & our room was exceptionally clean & comfortable.
We would stay there again when we next visit London.

Room was super-clean, bed really comfy and shower great. Location was brilliant for Kew Gardens, which is why we chose the property and the free tickets were an added bonus. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Restaurants and pubs within walking distance too. Parking was much appreciated too.
Nothing really. Very first home stay so it felt a little weird at first but hosts were very friendly and welcoming. No lock on the door which some might find uncomfortable - but it's someone's home why would there be? No food which might be awkward for some but local mini-supermarket not too far away.

We had a wonderful stay. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Location is easy to find and we didn't mind the traveling to central. Owner was very nice and with very good communication. With free entrance to Kew garden is such a bonus. Very happy with the stay, love to come back for more when we have more time to experience Kew garden. Thank you for making our trip special. ❤️
