The location is fantastic, the place is quiet, the host is hyper responsive and kind. We had a great stay with our little daughter. it’s very rare to find a place like this for this money! 😍

John is the most amazing host ever! We enjoyed our stay very much in a beautiful place that John has built up over the years. Lovely and cute 'casa' with a beautiful back and front garden. The back garden has also a beautiful pool and a nice spot to drink coffee/tea and/or have breakfast. All in all: superb!

La Casa del Medianero is a great place to stay with good facilities,well designed and characterful apartments and extremely friendly and helpful staff who give excellent service.It is very well located for those who want to tour the island and provides an excellent base for exploring all that Lanzarote has to offer.It is also easily accessible from the airport being just 10 kilometres away and yet situated in a peaceful and tranquil rural location.We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return soon.

The only slight issue is that if you want to enjoy a few drinks and a meal out then you need to use a taxi.However these are good value and plentiful so no problem really.

The pool was fantastic and so so well maintained. The decor was lovely and the TV could get all the UK Channels. The cleaner was brilliant and worked very hard indeed, keeping everything just so without been obtrusive. John was a great bloke to chat to and made us feel really welcome. For us the washing modern machine was very useful as we packed 'Ryanair Light'. The run from the LZ2 was only 4 mins if you drive like Carlos Sainz which we did. Even in a Fiat 500. The remote gated parking was brilliant too. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you so much!

The only niggle was the bedroom door onto the courtyard warped from true in the heat from between 11am and 5pm making it hard to shut lock and unlock. I am sure this will have been fixed by now.

Amazing place! Spacious, clean, nicely decorated house with everything we needed for our stay! It features two outdoor areas, one with a pool and bbq on one side and a garden on the other side. Place is great for a relaxing holiday as it is not far to Puerto del Carmen and Timanfaya National Park. There is even a very good restaurant La Cabana Macher in a walking distance from a house. Overall, we would once definitely return and could recommend to anyone who is looking for an accommodation away from crowded touristic areas but close to Lanzarote main natural attractions.

I liked everything. Hosts (Sarah and her farther John) are amazing! Thnx for all your attention, help and support! Especially thnx for supporting Ukraine and people of Ukraine! It was a very cozy traditional volcanic Lanzarote style villa with a pool and nice shared area. I felt like at home.

Villas require a bit of renovation I would say, but still I like this volcanic rustic style. Also we missed a private patio area a bit, especially with the baby. Also a nasty wind during almost all days prevent us from chilling near the pool, but obviously it's not someones fault))

Excellent place to stay. Very good communication and super friendly host. We enjoyed the welcome package. We recommend La Casa del Medianero.

We had an amazing 8 night stay at La Casa del Medianero ☀️ Sarah and her family, the hosts were incredibly friendly and put a real focus on making their home feel like your home. The communication is fantastic- responsive, informative and accommodating. The accommodation itself is very well equipped, it felt like everything had been thought through- nothing was missing and everything was designed to make our stay as relaxing as possible. The pool and garden areas were incredible and provided a great place to come back to after a day of exploring. Easy parking + great location for exploring the island. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

There is nothing I'd change

It's rare to find such friendly and welcoming hosts! The whole family went out of their way to make us feel at home. The setup encourages you to meet other guests, share experiences and make new friends. Highly recommended!

There wasn't anything not to like about la casa del medianero. From the point we made the booking the service we received was excellent - very attentive but not intrusive. The place was stunning - the design was carefully thought out and in keeping with the surroundings and the age of the house but with all modern amenities. The design also means you have two beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy your time in. The apartment is equipped with all the amenities you could need, from kitchen utensils to beach towels and bath robes, and everything was very comfortable, especially the bed. Sarah the host was so welcoming and really made us feel at home. The extra touches like the amazing communal coffee machine and welcome pack were especially appreciated, as were the great tips for things to do. Angie and John were also on hand to help with whatever we needed and were so friendly. The location is great if you have a car, off the beaten track so very peaceful but in the centre of everything so easy to get around. There are also a couple of very nice restaurants close by in macher.

This place is an experince itself. And a mean a beautiful experience. Possitioned centraly with everything around 30 min far. Rooms are specious and very stylish while respecting Lanzarote visual history and architecture. The front garden looks like it came out of a magazine, outstanding, pure joy for the eye. Very nice pool area and last but not least a super espresso machine (for the coffe lovers). Simply AMAZING

This is really an outstanding place - starting from the incredibly nice and helpful owners, that will always do everything to help out and make your stay perfect, to the extremely clean and well-equiped apartment and the well maintained and beautiful outdoor areas. From the apartment you can enter the pool area on one side and a garden area on the other side, so you can choose which area you prefer to sit outside and have breakfast or a glass of wine. It is all very well thought of, you will find bathrobes in the apartment, multiple blankets, some food and drinks, they make the bed and empty the trash every 2 days, they provide complimentary cookies & coffee and nothing is too much trouble for the lovely host family! They even have a washing machine, which was a big plus for us travelling with a baby! Honestly, this is a gem & you should stop looking for any other accommodation when travelling to Lanzarote :)! Thanks to Sarah & her family, we had an amazing week at your place!

Not a downside, just something to know for people travelling with babies - we chose apartment Jose as it‘s the only one with a door to the bedroom (this is important for us as our daughter wakes up very easily from noise) but the door cannot be closed completely and also the bathroom is attached to the bedroom, but we just sat outside during the evening in the garden and let our baby sleep in the living room, which worked quite well for us :-)!

We had the most wonderful stay at the casa del medianeiro. The hosts are extremely welcoming and kind and everything was absolutely perfect ! We definitely recommend it !

I loved the fact that this is a traditionally-built farmhouse that has been renovated into modern dwellings that are sympathetic to the original building, notably the volcanic rock that is still exposed in the walls and the beautiful wooden ceilings. Rooms are extremely clean (which as a clean freak I am fussy with!) and we had everything we needed and more! The outside area is also very clean, bright and perfect for relaxing on the sun loungers and going for a swim in the heated salt water pool. There is secure private off-road parking and the surrounding area is beautiful. Sarah, our host, is also lovely and made us feel very welcome.

Everything perfect, the apartment is fully equipped and cleaned. In the common area there is a barbecue and a coffee machine (that definitely made the difference for our breakfasts). The place is less than 10 minutes from Puerto del Carmen and is a good starting point for many excursions in Lanzarote. Sarah is a super nice host. We only stayed 4 nights but we wish we could stay more.

Nothing to complain about

First you’re welcomed as a new member of the family. This whole house is now your too. You can use every piece of the house and garden a go to every corner. You have free coffee every day… or every hour, it’s up to you. You can ask everyone, who is nearby whatever you need and the owners and stuff will help you with everything. Nice warm but still chilly pool with salt water, always clean and looking good. BBQ is ready for your meals with sitting area and great parking with automatic gate is perfect too. Give a chance to Sarah to host you there and won’t regret it!
