Die Lage, direkt um die Ecke ist der Makrtplatz und man ist mitten in der City von Alkmaar.

Einfachverglasung, man schläft geräuschtechnisch auf der Straße. Ein Fenster hat einen Riss und ist quasi dauerhaft offen. Der extreme Verkehr beginnt um 6 Uhr bis nachts die Poser auch endlich Feierabend machen. Betten in der Suite sind komplett durchgelegen. Frühstück wird portioniert auf einem Teller serviert. Jeden Tag das gleiche. Keine Auswahl. Parken ist nur im angrenzenden Parkhaus möglich. Fährt man raus muss man erneut 12,50€ bezahlen. Alles ziemlich teuer.

Sehr süßes Zimmer im Nebengebäude. Klein aber sauber und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Super zentrale Lage.

I would of preferred on shower gel and soap dispensers rather than the sample bottles but a minor inconvenience

We stayed in the hotel - in a small but cute room, in an old building with two flights of very steep stairs. The hotel reception and breakfast are in the nearby partner hostel - and the stay felt very much like being in a hostel ( I didn’t mind but I hadn’t expected this)

cozy place, clean and affordable. The breakfast was nice, although a bit expensive for what was offered. The parking was quite convenient and it was right around the corner from the hotel. The hotel in general had a unique character.

The rooms were pretty small and the ventilation was a bit suboptimal, specially the ventilation in the toilet and shower. Also, a major complain for us was that there was no coffee or tea equipment in the rooms. It was only offered in the lobby room on the ground floor, and there was no water tap around this area. So you had to take the kettle and bring it up to your room to fill it up. It was inconvenient.
