The house was large and the layout worked great for all the people we had. The outside covered deck was perfect for staying out of the sun and the beach was just steps away. The kitchen was adequately supplied but the pans could be updated. Only thing missing was chip clips so bring your own!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hang Loose Beach House. The rental was close to our cousins who booked a few steps away. The house was spacious and right off the water. We were able to accommodate 10 people with ease. The only downside is the house should offer hand soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Also we noticed that a patio chair was broken due to rust on the bottom. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we will visit again.

Had a great time. The house was wonderful. Had a couple of minor issues with hot water & dishwasher, but both were resolved to our satisfaction, and we were offered an additional night stay (we opted for a later checkout). Would definitely stay here again!

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Beach access easy down the walkway. You can park your car on the beach and we were able to load stuff in and out of a car for the day easily. The house has a perfect amount of space inside and shaded sitting area outside for a big group. We were 9 adults and 7 children. No shared sleeping/living areas like other rentals which is ideal as everyone has their own bedroom. My only negative is that renters are expected to put all linens on the 12 beds and take them off before leaving. This added time to setting up instead of arriving ready to be on vacation. I only knew this from reading reviews before booking and feel it would be more transparent for it to be on the listing details instead of in the rental agreement after paying. But other than that minor inconvenience we had a great stay and the staff were helpful upon check in and check out when we realized we forgot something and had to go back and get it after turning in the keys. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time to stay at the beach front home. The location is PERFECT. It is a short walk down your very own private boardwalk. The area of the beach is clean of trash and it is a quiet with not too many people. Sadly, this will be our last time stay at this property due to the cleanliness of the house. Dirty dishes in the cabinets, gum stuck to one of the bunks, just not too clean…
We also had a couple encounters with live roaches in the kitchen. We also had a live roach on my husband pillow… IN THE BED
With this property, you have to make your own beds and all of the dishes have to be clean before your check out. Nothing can be left in the dishwasher.
If I am on vacation and I am paying a cleaning fee, dishes and changing sheets is not what I want to be doing.

This house had the perfect floorplan for our group of 10 adults and 3 children. (We had some unused beds so the home can accommodate more people.)The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space to eat at a large table and bar. There was a big picnic table outside as well. Comfortable outdoor furniture on the covered deck made it nice to sit in the shade and watch the surf. The access to the beach was excellent. Our family plans to return to this house next summer for our annual reunion.

Easy to find. Great views from the porch. Be prepared to make all your own beds on arrival☹️. Mosquitoes were so bad as soon as the sun set that even mosquitoe spray did not allow for a fire on the beach. Was a nice weekend.

The house was a good size and well laid out. easy access to beach. Putting on our own sheets and supplying all of our own cleaning and personal supplies was not an issue. There was a significant amount of mold, we ended up having a baby and adult get sick and have to leave early due to mold. Baby ended up with respiratory illness and a rash on her face. I reached out to management and did not get a response.

Everything was great other than 2 things! You have to put your sheets on all the beds yourself. The kitchen is infested with cockroaches! The house it's self is great for large groups. We had a blast while there with our kids and grandkids. But please get rid of the roaches! When you cook..they are everywhere. Roaches are disgusting!! FYI: I would pay extra to have the beds made when when arrived. After a long drive..making beds isn't fun.

2big bags of laundry greeted us by the front door. No instructions regarding the bags so we thought the cleaners forgot them. Nope they were all the sheets and towels for the house. You make your own beds and put out the towels. The only sheets that fit were the king size. Queen and twin were too small. No dish cloths or dish towels. You truly supply with your own stuff. And the roaches! Baby roaches were all in the kitchen cabinets, drawers, counter tops and not just at night, during the day too. We have stayed at other rental houses in the area that supply everything for you and beds are made when you arrive. We will go back to those houses next time.

Wonderful Vacation!
This property was great! 4 rooms with Kings. 2 rooms with double bunks. 4 bathrooms. It was perfect for our family! The kids loved playing on the stairs. And even though it rained for half of our trip - we were able to hang out on the covered deck and still enjoy the view.

The Hang Loose vacation home was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make great meals. The fridge was large and worked very well. Be sure that the settings show 36 degrees for fridge section...sometimes when switching water/ice setting you may hit temp button and put fridge to 45. Figured it out quickly. Charcoal grill was great! Covered porch area was used A LOT! Great view of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable. Family enjoyed this beautiful home. Highly recommend.

Great location and great time
The house was a fantastic location, well decorated and laid out very nicely for a large group. The only area where it was lacking was cleanliness. There were a few roaches and there were aspects that looked like they were missed in cleaning. Nothing big but a few small things. All things being said it was an awesome place and location and we would stay there again.

Management was great to work with the only problem we had was we couldn’t get the fridge to cool right but the freezer did work so that helped. We were told it was a new appliance and that it could have been on vacation mode so whatever the case we did fine with our coolers for drinks so we did open and close the refrigerator often. We loved the house and it’s location. We would definitely rent again.

Huge space to park undercover and sleep
Love this house, you can park eight jeeps under the house and still have space to store your top and doors. Pier let's you walk across dune and right on to the beach. 4 king bedrooms and 2 bunk rooms. One bunk room has 4 single beds the other has 2 singles and 2 doubles. This is the place if you need lots of beds and parking.
Only thing I didn't like was the sliding door off 2 of the bathrooms, which qualifies these rooms as masters.
All in all an awesome house, we all enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for letting us rent it

We have rented beach houses at Surfside about 10 times over the last couple of decades. I call this house a home because that is really what it is. We have had great houses before but this one takes the cake! Sometime over the last few years the beach has apparently become public drive-on. We were disappointed at that but impressed that people seemed to try to avoid parking in front of the big houses. We had no problems with having "our space" on the beach. We had to call the after hours number about a beeping smoke detector. Seriously, even after hours, a repair guy was there in 15 minutes, determined the problem, and replaced the unit on the spot. After all these years and despite the public beach status, we still highly recommend Surfside, Brannon Realty, and now Cal-Sey to anyone who needs a relaxing, stress-free getaway! Go there!!!...now!!! : )

Overall the house is great for a large group. There were a couple of issues with cleanliness. Most we just took care of. 2 bedrooms had the closets off the track and there was mold on the blinds in the master and the curtains were dirty. It is a really nice house and should be kept in a better state. Again - great for a large group.

The Cal-Sey is a beautiful house. We loved the decor. It was the best house I have rented since I've been renting beach houses. The first time I walked in it I was blown away. Never had I rented a house that was so warm and beautiful. The ladies raved about the house and about how unique it was. I will rent it again and I would recommend it to others. We will be staying again. We have rented this house before and find the floorplan to be ideal for large numbers. There were a few things that need attention. The wifi connection is not good at all. Even after the tech came out and got a new router it just seems to have issues and did not live up to our expectations. We were here for the beach so no big deal. Also, house needs more plates and bowls. Just not enough of them. We had to wash plates for every meal. Would be nice to have double of these items. Overall a fantastic experience and we will be back. Bluewater Resort Rentals is top notch and the people are very professional.

Wonderful week at the beach. We met up with our kids and grand kids for a week at the beach. This house is set up in such a way that there is enough space for everyone without tripping over each other! The decor is awesome, so cute and be achy. Beautiful deck for gathering together or having a quiet cup of coffee at sunrise. This place is awesome and right on the beach! Would definitely come back.
