Very nice, friendly staffs. Room was super clean. Parking at nearby garage, only take about 3 minutes by walk. Walking distance to town center. Breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning.

More than we expected at this price point

Check in was a bit shaky, we waited ten minutes in front of the door.

It was beyond incredible. Everyone at Guimagold was so kind and gracious. The apartment is perfect, immaculate, beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. Great bathroom and the kitchen with everything. Love the espresso machine. We will return to beautiful Guimareas and especially Guimagold. Thanks to all for an exceptional stay in a city filled with wonderful sites and great restaurants.

Everything was wonderful.

We had a cancelled flight out of Heathrow, so instead of arriving at the property at 6 PM, we arrived at closer to 1 AM. I was able to send an email earlier, but we hadn't set up phone service so we couldn't confirm that we had landed and gotten our rental car. These nice folks stayed up for us... helped us find street parking, since the garage was locked up for the night... then continued to take good care of us for the rest of our stay. This was our first time in Portugal... our first four nights... and we felt welcomed and well cared for. We enjoyed our generous breakfast basket each morning, complete with an in-room Nespresso. A big plus for the location - we had two excellent meals (GarfoxFaca and 34) within short walking distance - who knew Galacian-style Polvo (octopus) would be so good?! - and could have enjoyed many more local restaurants... and the Confeitaria Clarinha nearby has superb pastries and coffee... we only visited 3 times in 3 days. So... very nice facility, extremely nice people, incredibly good location... and free parking!

The apartment is very nice.. very modern esthetic given the medieval character of the town and surroundings. Lots of white laminate and lighting strips.. really nice! As mentioned in other reviews, the space is a bit odd. The bedroom area is divided from the kitchen area by two wide openings. To use the kitchen facilities, the two wide rolling doors have to be opened, shutting off the bedroom. If one person is in the bedroom area and the other is working in the kitchen, it isn't possible to move from one space to the other. Some coordination between two residents is required. This isn't bad... just a bit odd. Flexible people will be fine and find the facilities just fine. And the parking - also... odd! The parking is in a enclosed space between buildings on all sides, entered down a "tunnel" and then you find the attendant - next to a car wash facility in the center - who will get you the space reserved for GuimaGold. Not intuitive and we were very aware we weren't in Kansas anymore - but it worked out fine!

We liked everything about that place, the design of the room, the decor was superb, the breakfast served in the room was perfect, the best suite we had in our trip. Everyone should book at the Guimagold without any hesitation, it is the best place to go if you visit Guimaraes, we will recommend it to everyone.

We fell in love with this hotel. Everything was awesome. Very very clean, friendly service , room decoration was great we was planning for only 1 night but my wife loved the hotel and the city so much we stayed for one more night. The apartments are spacious, clean and well serviced. The parking provided is convenient. Spotless clean. Nice breakfast served in the apartment. Feels as a home.

The neighboring building is being renovated (started 4/9/2022) which gives noticeable noise in the apartment. Did not bother us, we are early birds. check before if this could be a problem for you.

This was a fantastic location with clear instruction on where to park our car overnight. The apartment is amazing and so very well appointed. LED lighting everywhere with the most modern smallest switches to operate. Incredibly spacious and modern apartment. Our receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. The hand delivered breakfast was also lovely and beautifully presented in a basket. There was definitely sufficient for our needs. The apartment itself is within walking distance of everything. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely nothing not to like!

The apartment is just wonderful. We stayed in apartment 1086. So many hidden extras. My husband loved the fact he could connect his Spotify account with the speakers. Breakfast turned up in a lovely basket exactly on time as you ordered it. Under cover parking is a few doors away . I have never stayed in such a luxurious apartment as GuimaGold . You will not be disappointed.

there are two 12 number in the same street, we went to wrong address by google. The decorating lights were turned on all over the night, which cannot be fully covered by the white blinds .
