Park is nice and tidy. The beach is seconds away and gorgeous.

Unable to park by caravan is inconvenient, especially as we had a few days of bad weather. Bed and sofa were uncomfortable.

How quiet it is but also how friendly and helpful the staff are.

The lodge exceeded expectations, with many facilities provided. The lodge was prepared very well with many necessities available. The accommodation felt modern and comfortable with a homely feel and was only a 3 minute walk to the beach which was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming which made the experience all the more better.

Everything was great but a feature I would like to have seen would be a water hose outside the lodge as I would return from the beach with sandy feet. Entering the lodge and getting sand everywhere was a little frustrating and a minor inconvenience.

We stayed in the Rennie apartment, it is light and airy, with lovely high ceilings. It has 2 double bedrooms, a large open plan, lounge kitchen diner, a bathroom with a large shower, toilet sink and a full length mirror. It also has its own patio area with hardwood furniture and a BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped with built-in appliances, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee making machine. Being on 2nd floor, it has a lovely view over the estate and the sea, including the Plymouth Breakwater. The apartment was spotless and on arrival they had provided us with a lovely bottle of Prosecco, which was a lovely gesture that we were not expecting. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be going back there again, it was so comfortable and peaceful, a very relaxing break.

The location was ideal. It stayed peaceful. I have recently lost my brother and was feeling sad and low. Those few days of peace with nature around me were wonderful. Thank you. We will be back. Would like to try apartment next time but understand you will be very booked most of the year.

Would have liked a map of the recent area, like nearest bus stop if weather bad. Also friend told us about Mount Batten Ferry which would have been useful. Also how to get to Mount Edgecombe and other areas.

Super clean, lovely hosts, amazing beach so secluded. Cafes 5 min walk up the hill overlooking the ocean. We had the most amazing break here. Thank you.
