Our family of 5 had a wonderful week adventuring in the UP and it was made even more memorable by this beautiful cabin. Such a treat! We enjoyed waking up to the sunrises, hearing the waves crash on the rocks below, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit and playing games while cozied up on the big sectional. The property was clean, had everything we needed and the host was a great communicator.

Rock hunting, falls, bears and relaxing

Loves our stay in the UP! First time in the UP and we relaxed annoyed the view , but also mixed in the sites. Was a great home-base to go to Mackinaw Island, Pictured rocks, Oswald Bear Ranch, Shipwreck Museum and Taquanemon Falls.

The home was just as pictured on the VRBO site. Beautiful, very comfortable home away from home. Amazing sunrise every morning. The home was close to all the sites we were interested in visiting.

My wife and 3 young kids loved this place. Slept well, had everything we needed. Grilled out and used the fire pit also. Great sunrise views!

Camp Gichi Gummi was an awesome place to spend our vacation. Cabin was clean, cozy and very comfortable. Cooked many breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen which has almost everything we needed. But the porch was the star of the week. This is where many relaxing hours were spent reading, doing crossword puzzles and sipping our morning coffee as the waves of Superior lapped the shoreline. Evening campfires by the firepit were momorable and restful sleep came easy after our days in the UP. Beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back to this piece of Paradise again.

We had an amazing time. The house is cute and comfortable. The views of Lake Superior are beautiful. The house was a great "home base" for many things in the eastern UP. We hope to be back. There is so much to explore. We were all sad to leave this place. We could have sat on the deck overlooking the lake for a long time. Great place to view stars and the moon rising! We hope to be back soon!

This is the perfect spot for a family getaway! Very clean and close to everything you want to see! Our hosts were wonderful and checked on us to make sure everything was what we needed. We can’t wait to come back!!!

The house is very cute with an amazing lakefront view from deck. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We made great use of the outdoor firepit while enjoying the view and having fun with friends. We loved the place and the location. It was clean and had everything we needed to make some meals. During our stay we visited the falls, a couple lighthouses, the big spring, and pictured rocks. Loved our time here!

This house is beautiful! The view of the lake is awesome & the location is perfect (1/2 mile from town). We rode trails & roads for 3 days and had a ball! Would definately do this trip again!

This home is not only well-kept and decorated nicely it is well-appointed and has most spectacular sunrises and views of the night sky. It’s located in proximity to many of the U.P.‘a best known sites! It’s the perfect tranquil place to spend time and enjoy Lake Superior’s grandeur.

This was a great setting for a much-needed weekend away with friends. The deck was a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise as well as relax after dinner, and we enjoyed being able to cook and have meals together and also warm up by the fireplace.

Great location with an excellent view of the bay. Close to attractions. Water was nice and sandy with several sandbars which we enjoyed. House was very well equipped with all of the amenities needed. Highly recommend

We rented the house for the last week of July, and it was an amazing time away. You have two kids, ages nine and 11, they enjoyed playing in the sand and going into the water of lake Superior. The lake is shallow enough to swim and play for a good distance, but we still used life jackets just in case. As other reviewers have said, the town is small, but there are still a few places to eat as well as grab some necessities. The food price is at the restaurants was reasonable, the grocery stores were more expensive though as to be expected. If there is more shopping needed, highly recommend going to Newberry to do that. The house is close to a few things, 15 minutes from the shipwreck museum at whitefish point, in 20 minutes from the Tahquamenon Falls (and a great restaurant here), and about 45 minutes Oswald Bear ranch. All of these attractions are highly recommended! There is also the Barb's beach that is recommended by the homeowners, directions are in the booklet. It is a very secluded beach, and you will most likely have it to yourself. We enjoyed every sunrise we could weather depending. And even caught a sunset up at whitefish point. We also went down to St. Ignace, and then back up to Sault ste. Marie, in the same day. We normally vacation in the Mackinaw area. This was a great change from that area, due to the distance of everything, but it was a very nice and quiet time to connect with the family and with nature. The house was very well kept, and had plenty of incidentals already there. Whether it was cooking supplies or cleaning supplies, we were very happy with all that was provided. Plenty of towels and other linens. Even in the last week of July, still got cool enough to keep the house a nice temperature by opening the windows at night. Also, as others have stated, the Wi-Fi was amazing, because after a long day everyone needed to wind down with a little bit of tech. Dale was very quick to respond with anything we needed, and we are very happy with our experience. If you're looking for a place to stay right on lake Superior with an amazing view, look no further!

We had a great time in Paradise. The house and property are beautiful, clean, and have all of the amenities that you’d want for a memorable vacation with family or friends. The house is updated and very nicely decorated. My family and I highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay in this home. The view was beautiful and the location was close to a couple of grocery stores. We were a party of 4 adults and two of the three bedrooms had bathroom attached. The Wi-Fi was great. Tahquamenon falls is really close. We also visited Pictured Rocks, Sault Ste Marie.

Great property—loved the view. The house was very well taken care of and clean, decorated neat. It had everything we needed. Main floor bedroom was perfect for our handicapped daughter.

Overall, this home is well maintained, appropriately updated, and cozy. Plenty of room for the four of us to just "vibe," inside and out. And when we went on day trips, it was a nice place to come back to, tucked in the trees with excellent views of Whitefish Bay/Lake Superior. Be prepared, of course, for the geographic location to which you are headed – there aren't any large towns directly nearby, so plan accordingly. Local stores have most of what you'll need if you forget something, but fresh produce/groceries are scarce. Similar to any town of 475 people. We had a perfect experience, really, and would recommend this property to those looking for a remote getaway.
