If you like historic buildings, this is a great place. Fascinating layout and property is full of history. Game room is a great twist and Bill is a wonderful host. We stayed for a wedding at nearby Spillian venue and it worked great

Very cool building in a quaint town. Host was awesome and helpful with great "things to do" suggestions and accomodating. Amazing rental for a young family/group. Spiral stairs a challenge for seniors and a broad shouldered guy. Neat if you want the place to tell a story!

Property is unique and quaint. With themed rooms throughout, we always had something different to do or try. And as a bonus, bill offered a covered porch to keep Motorcycles dry! Had a great time.

Heavenly Getaway is a great place for a larger group. It was great home base for fly fishing across the Catskills. Arkville is a wonderful sleepy little town with Margaretville next door. Everything you need and nothing you do not want. The game room was a great days end entertainment for our group of ages of 14 to 65. The Esopus is 20 minutes away. The Beaverkill & Willowemoc is 45-55 minutes away in Roscoe.

This house was perfect for our family getaway! It had all the accommodations we were looking for and only 5 minutes from the mountain. Pictures do not do it justice! The interior design blew us away with all of the antique decor. The kids had a blast in the game room and movie theater. The host Bill was so accommodating and helpful he made our stay 10 times better!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Church House. Our kids loved it, especially because of all the entertainment provided in the upper loft with all they could play with…pool table/air hockey/fussball/poker/video games/darts, you name it! Bill is an exceptionally attentive host always checking in to make sure all is ok. Downside- it was a particularly cold weekend and some of the rooms were very chilly at night. Pellet stove helped but needs attention every 6 hrs or goes out- so a broken sleep…but kind of fun in a sense, taking us back to the old days, when things weren’t so convenient. I’m sure my kids would be happy to visit again though!

This house is quirky but fun, and perfect for lots of friends/family to stay together. I just got back from staying in this converted Church w/my husband, two kids and dog. My brother and his family also stayed (three kids, wife and dog). There was pleanty of room to spread out, but there was also a large dinning room to have meals together. The loft has an amazing game room, which kept the kids (ages 3-12) entertained. The house is a 10 minute drive from Belleyre Mountain. The owner was very responsive and super sweet. He stopped by to check up on us, and he told us we could stay past check out if we wanted to continue skiing. Overall it was a perfect weekend.

We went with two families for a fun ski weekend. It was a very unique old church property and the game room was huge and entertaining for all. It's the kind of place that's great for a group that is willing to pile into various spaces, loves antiques and unique themed decorations, and is easy going about small things like uneven heating. The owners support and responsiveness was absolutely fantastic.

We had a great weekend!! Our host was very responsive, he would get back to me within 30 minutes. I would absolutely come back.

Had a great time at this house. House is filled with a myriad of things to keep kids and adults entertained. House is close to skiing and hiking. We were able to have an air hockey and pool tournament at night. Great big screen for the football game. We were able to walk to the Union Grove Distillery and a small grocery store. Plenty of room for big groups.

This property was quirky and in a great location for skiing. We did not find it to be a good fit for us given the ages of our kids (5-9), and we were really cold the first of our two nights. The pellet stove jammed, and we followed instructions to contact the owner, which was at 8pm. We texted and called, and despite his excellent responsiveness leading up to our trip, we did not hear back until the following morning. My husband and I were sleeping in the game loft under 4 blankets, and we carried a space heater from the first floor up the narrow winding staircase. We also didn’t have an easy common area to sit together because of the layout of the house which had many doors, and the sitting area downstairs required walking through the master bedroom or walking through the unheated foyer (it was 18 degrees at night during our stay). The game room, while a great feature, was quite dark, and many of the lights throughout the house had switches in the downstairs foyer. It was inconvenient to go down the winding staircase at night to turn off the nights before going to sleep. We expect that for families with older kids (or one big family) the property would be more comfortable. Also, the shower leaked into the master bedroom, and the sink in the second bathroom was leaky. We read many great reviews of this property prior to booking, but it was not for us.

This was a very cool place to stay! The game room was great for both the older adults and the young adults. The spiral staircases are a bit hard to navigate for older people (imo) (and my dog).The wi-if was great- I did have to work 2 of the days there. If you are looking for an eclectic place to stay- this is it. Had the temperature not been well below freezing a few of the days, we could have utilized the hot tub and screening room more. When he says it’s drafty- believe him!

We enjoyed our visit - probably not the best place for smaill children (spiral staircases). The fire places and pellet stove kept us plenty warm. The kitchen needs a few more basics like more glasses, bowls, measuring cups and measuring spoons. For a group of 9 we ran out of silverware often. Wi-fi and all the TVs worked well. The game room was wonderful for the over 10 year olds. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

This place is amazing. Great for adults and children. The game room (the loft) was great entertainment for everyone. Great location. The host was very helpful when I had a problem with the pellet stove, my own doing. Great host, very helpful.

This quirky house very much served its purpose as a place to stay and have fun before and after a Catskills soccer tournament. Williams was very responsive, kind and helpful. Only downside is the towns Fire Bell sounding in the middle of the night - gave us quite a scare as we didn’t know to expect it. But the property and owner themselves were great 😍

We had a group of 8 gathering for a weekend! The house was perfect for our size, and very clean! Great outdoor space and game room! The hot tub was nice to relax in!! A great time was had by all! Bill was a super great host with quick replies and great suggestions for the area.

My sister and I stayed here for a long weekend and had a great time. Bill is very responsive and provided suggestions of places to eat and go. The house was impeccably clean with lots of interesting details. The game room upstairs could definitely provide hours and hours of entertainment. Soaking up some sun while drinking our morning coffee on the deck was very pleasant. The house is an antiques lover's dream. Belleayre Mountain is about 15 minutes away. Enjoying the hot tub while taking in a movie was a great way to end a day of hiking.

This house was 5 star hotel clean! And the decor could keep you busy for hours just looking at all of the antiques. The game room is much bigger in person and was a lot of fun especially since the weather was bad at first. The property owner was so accommodating and helpful. I thought an old church would be drafty but there is plenty of heat - we were even shutting things down. The pellet burning stove was easy to use and had plenty of pellets for us. Next time we will bring our guitars to go along with the drum set!!!

Let me first say that Bill was fantastic and so helpful. The place is in a good location less than 10mins from Belleayre ski mountain and only a couple of mins for some good places to eat in Margaretville. We highly recommend the “Inn Between”!! The house is a ton of fun and the kids enjoyed the games loft immensely. It’s huge!! They even slept up there. The house layout is very unusual but that is part of the charm. I'd say the only slight drawback is managing the heating system (and feeding the wood pellet stove) but it added to the experience in a funny way. Definitely a memorable and enjoyable family trip!

My family and I stayed at the McBride property for the Christmas holiday. We were looking for a home large enough to accommodate 8 adults for the weekend, us pets, and visitors dropping in, and this was the perfect destination! A beautifully renovated church for Christmas, and the host couldn't have been more gracious! He even ensured we had the most beautiful depression glass table setting for 8 for our holiday dinner! We played games in the game room, watched holiday movies in the theater room, and soaked in the hot tub after dinner! Thank you for the wonderful memorable Christmas!

Our host was communicative and helpful, and the property was unique and filled with interesting touches and toys. The area was beautiful, and the little restaurants in Arkville were homey and friendly. However, the air quality in two bedrooms was so poor that we ended up sleeping on couches in the den, and there were ledges without proper safety railings. I hope this deserving property gets a ventilation and safety upgrade.

The house is decorated with true antiques, This was enjoyed by all. Bill was available whenever we reached out to him. He was very helpful and easy going.
