Absolutely beautiful
Had everything you needed and more. A family touch with a home cooked meal, fire pits, penguins and stunning amenities

The accommodation environment is excellent.
1. It's perfect for checking in in the afternoon and enjoying the beautiful scenery and sunset.
2. The public bathroom and kitchen are very clean.
3. A beach nearby lets you watch penguins returning to their nests.

I presume the 2 bonus questions above are in relation to the beds and bathrooms at the Cove? If they are about the SOT - then my response is neutral.
If they are about the Cove, they were comfortable and all the things you need in a bathroom and bed.
The Cove was unexpectedly wonderful. I booked not really knowing anything about it and just needed somewhere reasonable to stay for a few nights to recover from the trip over from Melbourne. It exceeded our expectations - the location is spectacular, the accommodation was lovely and facilities were equally gorgeous. The staff were lovely - really couldn't fault it.
There was nothing we didn't like - enjoyed the entire experience.

First, the staff was warm and welcoming.
The view of the Bass Strait was exceptional and priceless.
The room was very clean and homely, with a direct view of the ocean.
I had two penguins walk past my hut, and wallabies hopped up the bank for a feed. It truly was a romantic getaway. I highly recommend it, even as a solo traveller such as I was.
The highlight was the fire pit overlooking the ocean, and I was lucky to have a clear night and view of the milkyway from my own deck.
For those that are searching for peace and tranquillity this is a place to stay. As someone who has recently separated from the ADF, the location allowed me to truly reflect and heal.
The smaller accommodation/hut did not have their own bathroom/toilet facility.. However, it was a short walk to the main facility. It definitely was not a deal breaker.

Everything was amazing. This was the reason we came to Devonport. This resort far exceeded our expectations. It has absolutely everything to make your stay luxurious. The toilets were separate to our villa but it was a short walk with an umbrella, robe, poncho all on hand in our room if needed and the bathrooms are heated. The view is breathtaking and this resort was the best accommodation we booked on our trip around Tasmania. Staff were amazingly helpful and personable. It was our luxury adventure venue. Would come back to Tassie just to stay here.

Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic location, clean and comfortable, great facilities. Falling asleep with the sound of crashing waves in the background is one of the best features of The Cove.
Instant coffee sachets in the room, would have been better if there was a coffee machine. Soap bottles in the shower didn't work that well.

Magnificent ocean views, fresh air& comfortable cabins with friendly helpful staff. Communal kitchen facilities and yoga room are excellent also. Roaming the fields in the evening and seeing wildlife and penguins and added treat.
Wifi connection is not great do it is difficult to work from here, however it is intended as a retreat, not a work space.

The most amazing location.
Great views, spectacular spacious common area design, well-equipped first-class facility.
The friendliest staff.
Wildlife is everywhere, domesticated and native.
We walked down to the foreshore to watch the Little Blue penguins come ashore; peacocks, paddymelons, possums, and rabbits wandered the grounds.
The massive shared kitchen was a great place to meet people. We stayed at some of the best Hotels in Tassie during our trip, but this is the place we will remember most fondly.

The scenery is absolutely stunning, relaxing and serene. The villa is spacious, spotless and luxurious. The included hamper of food was very generous. My fiance and I had a very special and memorable time. We also walked to the beach to watch the fairy penguins come in and waddle up the hill. The Cove is a very special place.

Beautiful place. We stayed here with ocean view and liked our stay there, so we decided to stay at Villa for another night. It was worth coming to see how amazing Villa was. We also joined Farm Tour with Jess and had good experience with farm animals. The owner Kim was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations in the local areas. We’ll be back for sure when we come back to Tasmania.

Traumhafte Lage an einer Bucht, an der man wilde "little blue Pinguins" und auf der zugehörigen Farm Lamas und andere Tiere beobachten kann. Obwohl nahe an einer größeren Straße gelegen, sehr ruhig. Tolle Gemeinschaftsküche und sehr sauberes Gemeinschaftsbad.
Pinguine beim Füttern der Jungen können nur mit Rotlichlampen beobachtet werde (zum Schutz der Tiere), die kostenlos in der Unterkunft verliehen werden.

The owners of this 350 acre working property perched on a cliff above Bass Strait, must be complimented on a wonderful idea with accommodation to suit all types. Our cliff top chalet was beautifully designed and implemented. We would like to come again and spend more time sampling the local delights the property has to offer.
They pretty well have it all covered - perhaps a cappuccino coffee machine would mean we wouldn't have had to leave the property at all!

Amazing views, Villas or glamping style accomodation available, shared amenities had everything you could possibly need or want, many relaxation spaces and shared areas available that were all beautiful and functional. Atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. Plenty of space to be by yourself or mix with others. Area to watch the penguins on the property.

The Cove Tasmania is a very popular resort in Tasmania. I tried to book a room a month in advance, but it was already fully booked. I was lucky to finally get a room for my fifth anniversary with my partner. The resort exceeded my expectations in every way: the stunning view, the modern design, and friendly service. It is truly a hidden gem in the north of Tasmania.
This place is perfect! No bad things at all!
