so noisy… couldn’t sleep. Music all night, barking dogs, roosters, train. The neighborhood was not nice at all

Quaint comfortable apartment, located a short drive east of the downtown noises. Quiet residential neighborhood with occasional dogs barking and neighboring roosters crowing. Awesome mini split AC units keep your space icy cold even in 100 degree heat and 79% humidity outdoors. One of the few places which provide toilet paper, towels, bedding, hand and dish soap and sponge. The kitchen is well enough equipped to make most any meals. Private locked gated parking. Friendly English and Spanish speaking hosts. They had no problem accommodating our 10:30pm arrival. This is a small 5-6 unit complex with a small shared courtyard. Be sure to ask for downstairs availability if you can't navigate 1-1/4 flights of stairs. We liked it well enough to stay again.

This is more of an FYI than complaints. If you have a 4 door long bed dually truck, you'll need to request parking behind the wooden gates and not the sheet metal gates, otherwise it won't fit. Fortunately this time we were in our 4 door Jeep. There was a 2 door long bed truck in one of the sheet metal gated parking spot, but it was a tight fit. If you have 2 midsize to compact cars in your group, again ask for parking behind the wooden gates, as you can park one behind the other. The hot water is an, on demand propane heating system. It takes a little getting used to if you've never used one. Don't turn the hot water on full blast or you'll only get luke warm water, run it at lower pressure for hotter water.

Dont be put off by the location. The property was clean and secure with private gated parking. Full 1bd room apartment. Equipped with wifi, ice cold ac.

Location isn't ideal, but you have lots of privacy and a safe secure place to stay.
