We enjoyed the stay and the memories made on our vacation. The hosts were very helpful when we had some home appliance issues. The proximity to the private beach, house pool and the community pool made it great for all the family Members. We definitely would go back and spend time in the beautiful house.

Week long family vacation with 2 grandparents, 6 parents and 10 grandchildren and we all fit comfortably 😀. One grandchild described the house as “it’s a Barbie dream house”. The pool in the back and the pool across the street got lots of use following wonderful days on the private beach. It was a short walk to the beach and we appreciated the wagon at the house to haul our gear. Everything was just as described and even roomier than expected. Owners were super responsive. Kitchen was great and plenty of seating for everyone to hang out on the main floor. Would highly recommend.

Our family of 7 adults and 5 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Sandy Sheets” last week. The house is spacious with ample bedroom and bathrooms available for everyone. The living area/kitchen on second floor was perfect for family gatherings—with plenty of seating for everyone. The balconies were furnished with comfortable seating, providing a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The home is nicely furnished, very clean, and has comfortable bedding. The kitchen was spectacular with everything we needed (utensils, small appliances, pots/pans, serving dishes, etc) at our fingertips. In addition to the private pool and patio area at the back of the house, the community pool was directly across the street from the front door. We had plenty of parking, as we parked 4 vehicles and a golf cart in the driveway. There was only a 3-4 minute walk to the beautiful private beach. The owners are fabulous to work with, communicating with us and letting us know about check-in, gate codes, wifi, etc prior to our arrival. After our arrival, they checked on us to see if we needed anything. When we did have an issue with the washing machine (no fault of theirs), they responded immediately and promptly got a NEW washing machine as a replacement. We all were in awe of how attentive they were to details and how nice they were to work with. We highly recommend this house. It is fabulous!!!!

The house was perfect for our family vacation! Plenty of space. Perfect location! Short distance to coffee shop, DQ, & the Beach! The house was equipped with everything we needed. The owners Chuck & Cali were sweet to check in with us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely will be back! Loved the security guard, so sweet and personable.

Just finished our week long family vacation at Sandy Sheets. 10 adults, 6 children ages 2-12. If we are ever able to go to Destin again we will definitely stay here. The house provided everything we needed and more. We shared lots of family meals at the house and lacked for nothing. So many places to gather at the house. The kids loved the bunk room and the pool at the house and the community pool, just steps across the street. There was a fabulous coffeehouse, dairy, queen, and beach within easy walking distance. Owners were easily available if we had any needs. There were lots of stairs, but with a large home I don’t really see any way around that. Great house.

From before getting to the property we were already in touch with the owner. He greeted us at the door upon early arrival and showed us around the house. Extremely nice man. We had 9 adults and 6 children and fit comfortably in the house. We take large vacation with this group of family somewhere different every year and this year did not disappoint. Weather didn't cooperate perfect but we enjoyed the backyard pool and some good quality fun and laughs. If you are looking for a nice house with great owners this is one should definitely be on your list. Not to far of a walk to the beach and 2 chairs with umbrella set up for you. A couple things to keep in mind are theres alot of stairs. The older folks stayed on the bottom floor with us. Also there are no locks on the doors. Not even bathrooms.

Sandy Sheets was a fantastic place to stay. The house was beautiful, very spacious, and extremely well stocked. Every bedroom having its own bathroom was a plus! Chuck and Cali are very responsive if needed. They are wonderful hosts. The short walk to the beach and many restaurants was very convenient. We also loved being close to a great coffee shop. Take time to get to know Lewis at the beach gate. He’s a jewel. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time staying at Sandy Sheets! Beautiful home and great location - only 2 minute walk to the beach! The beach was private and just gorgeous! We had 8 adults plus a baby and we had PLENTY of room for more ! The owners were available all week by phone/ text and were immediately responsive to our questions! They even greeted us with a little special something when we arrived to the house! 10/10 recommend and would stay again!

The hosts of this property are simply angels, so welcoming upon our arrival and quick to respond. We had a large group of friends and family from 3 years old to 70+. This house had a fully stocked kitchen since we stayed in for most meals, and was a short walk to the beach, coffee shop, pizzeria, and dairy queen. Everything was perfect. Only thing you may want to take note of with young kids and older guests is the amount of stairs.

We had a great week at “Sandy Sheets”! The owners are awesome and very responsive to all questions. We also had a special treat waiting for us when we arrived! The house was close to the beach and our grandkids loved having the pool in the backyard. The community pool was so close and when we all wanted to swim we walked across the street and enjoyed the waterfall. Our entire family had a very memorable week at Sandy Sheets. The house was beyond our expectations; from size to location to accessibility to the owners as needed. It was my husband and me, our 3 sons and their wives, and 3 grandchildren ages 4, 1 1/2, and 8 mos. The two older boys were in the bunks and the baby was on a brand new pack’n play that the owner bought just because we requested it. He was even willing to continue to shop to find another booster if we wanted it. He was very prompt in returning my calls if I had a question. He even met us at the house when we arrived with some snacks and a welcome drink (even sparkling cider which the 4 yr old and his pregnant mommy appreciated). There was music playing throughout the house which welcomed us warmly for what was yet to come! The property has more than ample sleeping arrangements. We all had our private areas when we needed to get away. The pool was perfect for the afternoon after spending the morning on the beach (very short walk, even with little ones). Part of the pool gets afternoon shade which was welcomed after enough sun. The house was immaculate. We ate in most nights and there was every kind of utensil, pots, pans, dishes, and plenty of them. Our entire group was able to eat together inside and out on the balcony. Having balconies on both levels was fantastic, especially when some of the little ones got up early and could go out there with parents to play until the rest of us got up. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet street just 1 block from the beach. All of our kids told us it was the perfect week and this property helped to make that happen. We will definitely be coming back to this house if we return to this area.

This place only gets 5 stars because that’s the highest on the scale! More are needed for sure! Starting with communication-owners are timely to reply, friendly, and just overall wonderfully helpful. I truly feel I could have messaged them at anytime and they would have helped right away. Location-easy walk to the beach. Golf carts are allowed which made a short trip on a hot day easy to one of the nearby restaurants, and they are just a blast to drive. The provided daily beach chairs (2) and umbrella was really a nice bonus. You only need a cooler and don’t have to worry about lugging chairs down to the beach. They are only until 5, but that just gave you an idea as to the time as it was easy to loose all track of time on the gorgeous beach. The house- amazing condition overall. Plenty of beds and they were all very comfortable mattresses. The sofas and recliners were in amazing shape. Some were sleeper sofas, but we didn’t pull them out to see how they would sleep. Bathrooms, water pressure, and all the things you like from home were awaiting us on arrival. (I miss the master bath) The kitchen was well appointed, and the little cooking in we did, had everything we needed. Ice maker was quick to fill back up so no issues on needing ice the next day. The pool area was very relaxing, although not much time was spent there. The overall exterior mirrored the interior as far as care,cleanliness, and condition are concerned. This is a great place for a small or larger gathering, with space for four vehicles with ease. This house is saved to my favorites and will be a list topper for future trips! I highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful experience at Sandy Sheets! Chuck and Cali went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was gorgeous and exactly as pictured—maybe even better! Great proximity to the beach. Our expectations were exceed for sure…highly recommend!!

This house is gorgeous and covered all of our needs and then some. The owners were wonderful and very attentive with their communication. Nice surprises when we showed up. Kitchen is very well equipped with anything and everything you need. House was spotless, beds were extremely comfortable. Perfect location to have a close, short walk to the beach. It was nice to go from the private pool to the community pool just by walking across the street. Nice supply of beach chairs, beach wagon and umbrella. Only negative that I would have is that there are no locks on the bedroom or bathroom doors. We will definitely be returning to Sandy Sheets the next time we head to the Destin/Miramar Beach area.

Our trip to Destin was amazing. Chuck and Cali made the process simple and easy. The house was beautiful and clean as advertised. A short walk to the beach and area attractions. They were available anytime I had a question or concern. They were fantastic hosts. I highly recommend. They left an amazing meat and cheese tray along with some gifts for the kids upon our arrival. They even stopped during our stay to deliver us some home made bread. Could not ask for better hosts during our trip. Thanks again Chuck and Cali.

If we could give this property a score higher than 5 stars we would! Everything was perfect! The home was beautiful and spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, the location to the beach was great (away from the main road but still a VERY short walk to the beach), and the back yard and pool were a great spot to hang out with our family. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable...such wonderful people to work with! I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for their dream vacation!

Sandy Sheets was a wonderful vacation home for our family of 16. The house was beautiful....It was very clean, comfortable, and lots of space for our family. It was close proximity to the beach. The backyard patio and private swimming pool was used by all. We never did make it to the community pool. Chuck and Cali were excellent hosts. They immediately responded to any questions we had. Thank you for a lovely vacation. We hope to return one day.

This spacious home was exactly what my family was looking for. It had enough space for everyone to be together at once or spread out, if needed. It was also within easy walking distance to the beach and the larger community pool was directly across the street for when the kids preferred that over the ocean. Chuck and Cali were excellent hosts and were easy to reach whenever needed, but thankfully we didn't really need them since everything was perfectly in order for us! I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this house was amazing. This house is beautiful and is very clean. Many bedrooms and bathrooms which was a plus for our 4 families. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The owners are great people and we met them in person. Very close to the beach and right across from the community pool. This house has its own pool which was heated and clean. The kitchen is very large and had all the cookware and small kitchen appliances including the keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker. We definitely would like to return to this property and recommend it to everyone! We give it 5 stars and more if possible! Thank you so much for our little gifts also!

The house was everything we wanted. It was big enough for our large family and everyone loved it. If we get back to Destin we will definitely go back to Sandy Sheets. It is in a nice neighborhood and just a short walk to the beach. Even our 2 1/2 year old easily walked it. The pool across the street was an added bonus. The owners were attentive and very friendly. This is a very beautiful home. It is spacious, relaxing, and has everything we needed. The bedrooms were all extremely nice & roomy and made you feel quite pampered. We loved the large kitchen, great-room, and balcony area where we had lots of room to hang out together & relax. Thank you - we had an awesome time!

Thank you for a great stay. We love the Destin/Miramar Beach area, and this house is just wonderful. We enjoyed our time here so much and had no complaints at all. The house was amazing - beautiful and well furnished - and very close to the beach & shopping. The outlet mall is very close which was nice for us and there are several restaurants in walking distance from the house. Sitting on the balcony in the evening was very relaxing and a lot of fun.

We love this vacation home! It is a very quick walk to the beach, coffeeshop, and several local resturants. The home was super nice, well decorated, and beautifully furnished including nice linens (definitely not used to this at rental properties!) There were even signs letting us know that even the bedspreads were laundered & sanitized just for our stay - this was very comforting. We loved the pool out back, and really enjoyed the front balconies, too! The owners were easy to communicate with and very with info about the area. We felt right at home here, and will definitely be booking Sandy Sheets again!

We greatly enjoyed our time in this amazing home! It was very well maintained and just as beautiful in person as in the pictures. Our group had 8 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of room for everyone without being crowded. It was a very short walk to the beach through a private gate and walkway. Everything was top notch! Most importantly the owners, were always available to answer questions and help any way they could. They are wonderful people! The home is more than just a rental beach house as the details are gorgeous and the house feels more like a private home. The kitchen is huge and so much fun to use. We opted to cook in every night, and loved hanging out on the balconies in the evenings. Sandy Sheets has been by far our best experience. I highly recommend this owner and house. Our group is already looking forward to coming back to this wonderful home again!
