This is a very nice property in a safe, quiet part of town. Easy access to downtown Charlestoin and very close to south hills bars, restaurants and shopping. Cute cozy house that is well-appointed and was a fun place to hang out with family. I will stay again next time I visit Charleston. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is nicely laid out with good flow between all the spaces. The kitchen worked out really well and was impressively fitted out. We will definitely be coming back here when we need to stay in the area again.

This property is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Charleston area. It is very close to the freeways and downtown. It is located in a cute neighborhood with numerous dining, bar, and grocery options within a short walk. The property is appointed with very good utensils for cooking and nice flatware and appliances including washer and dryer. The living room and dining room have a relaxed cabin-like feel with nice wood floors and wall paneling. If anything the pictures don't do it justice. The upstairs bedroom is very nice and has abundant natural light. This was a very comfortable property for four adults. I would definitely rent here again.

What a delightful little house with character! Solid plank hardwood floors buffed to a dazzling sheen, comfy furnishings, formal dining room. Three bedrooms offered a welcome variety mattress firmness, allowing guests with back problems the opportunity to chose a mattress that was just right. Bathrooms were immaculate. It was summer so we had no need of a roaring fire, but the two wood-burning fireplaces would be really welcome in winter. As a general comment, this was hands-down THE BEST, most well-stocked house in which we have ever stayed. BEST-QUALITY EVERYTHING: sheets, plush towels, Fiesta dishware, cutlery, baking tools, appliances (there were two different kinds of coffee-makers, including a Keurig, top-of-the-line blenders, food-processors), and pots and pans. The washer and dryer were a great convenience, especially since soap, dryer sheets and stain remover sprays were all provided. The neighborhood is quiet, with neat and well-maintained bungalows up and down the street. Located just 5 miles from downtown restaurants and attractions, it was very well-situated. The one negative was the television. No cable is provided. There were only channels showing 1960 tv shows. The assumption is that renters will have their own streaming subscriptions and use their streaming access to do tv viewing. Since we don't subscribe to any streaming services, we were totally out of luck. Fortunately, we came for the attractions and events, and not tv. Overall, a great stay!!

The property was centrally located allowing us to explore Charleston with ease. The home was clean, comfortable, and a great place to hang out and enjoy our family gathering. When returning to Charleston, we hope this property is available.

The home is just as pictured and was exceptionally clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and other meals. We also love the short walk to Lola's Pizza! The hosts communicated everything we needed to know in advance so that parking and check-in was easy. We have stayed at another property in the South Hills area owned by these hosts. They are responsive and their homes are decorated tastefully which keeps me coming back to stay every time I am visiting Charleston, WV.

Spacious, clean and fresh smelling. Fully supplied with kitchen items, paper products and so much more. This was a central location for us to stay as we were visiting multiple family members in close proximity of the Charleston area. Thank you for providing a safe and comfortable home base.

We stayed in Charleston for the App State/Marshall Football game. The house was exactly as described on VRBO. The living room was really comfortable for our group of 6. It's obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought into their guests' experience, because everything was great...from the amenities in the kitchen to the comfort of the beds. The only thing that would have made our stay better, would have been a victory for our Mountaineers. But...you can't win the all. Thank you...great house!

Charming 2 story home.. make sure to read instructions about parking before GPSing yourself to the house. Was pretty and felt/smelled super clean inside. Floors creak when you walk.. didnt bother me any, but could bother some... I thought it gave the house character. The weird pillows on the bed felt like they were inflated and hyperinflated, at that. That is my only complaint. Beds were otherwise comfy, slept great. Would stay here again 😊

My college friends got together for the first time in 35 years. It was a perfect place for our reunion. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped so we had fun cooking together. The other rooms were very comfortable. I would stay there again.

My sisters and I stayed at this property. The house is clean and comfy and the neighborhood is lovely and quiet. Photos of house and information about house were true to what we found. Looking forward to staying there again!

This home is in a quiet neighborhood; clean and well furnished; comfortable; very lovely. The owners are professional.

Our family of 3 siblings and their spouses along with one child met for a long weekend. The house has updated kitchen and bath rooms and is in great shape. The neighborhood has restaurants in easy walking distance, a small market, an Italian ice cream and coffee house that had wonderful gelato. There was a park that my young son walked to with my wife and then played at. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals if you do not want to take advantage of the nearby restaurants. This was our second year meeting here and we would definitely come back.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house was well kept, well stocked and inviting. Out of the 7 hotels and 3 VRBO houses we stayed at during our trip, this was by far the best! Thank you.

We were traveling through Charleston WV and arrived late at night. Felt very safe with the well lit parking space and the house is beautiful. Exactly what we needed for a quick. trip to WV.

This property was perfect for our stay. The (mostly) fenced in backyard with direct views from the kitchen windows was great for our kids to play in while we cooked in the beautifully stocked kitchen. My husband made the comment that the house had a lot of upgrades that weren’t basic needs and exceeded his expectations, including but certainly not limited to the safety features on the drawers to prevent slamming. This property was very family friendly, very cooking-friendly, very clean, and definitely exceeded our expectation. I would (and have already to family) recommend this property.

A beautiful place to stay! Well appointed. A lovely neighborhood though the streets in were a bit narrow and curvy. After having an 8" snow storm the night before our arrival, the host/hostess had the driveway cleared and ready for us. The host/hostess was very responsive. We were in Charleston for a trail event, so were not there enough to take advantage of all if the amenities. I would recommend to others without hesitation ... and if we "run" Frozen Sasquatch next year, I will check availability of this property first. Thank You.

We rented the house for visiting family as we needed more bedrooms! Two eighty somethings were very appreciative of the no step entry accessibility and motion sensor lights. One 14 year old was appreciative of the WiFi! The house was IMMACULATE! The owner was quick to respond and so very helpful! We already knew it was a safe and pretty neighborhood! The kitchen was so well equipped, and there were emergency lanterns - no detail overlooked! There is a walk in shower but it is on the upper level - our eighty somethings suggested a safety bar in downstairs shower. Be careful to stay ON the parking pad! Backing in made for easier access! A beautiful home! Family was so impressed; would definitely recommend!!

This was the perfect stop on our move for our family. Clean and exceeded our expectations and would recommend, especially if you are a bigger group. They use plug-in air fresheners.

The owners were very responsive to communication. The house was very clean with everything we could need for our stay. The house was located in a nice area with easy access to highways and shopping. Several restaurants and shops within walking distance. We will definitely stay again!

These host supplied everything you needed with great attention to detail. It was homey and lovely. My 74 year old mother ripped the skin on her arm while there-she has paper thin skin-and there was even a very well stocked first aid kit. The only thing I would suggest is a handicap bar for the downstairs bathroom. Everything was super clean and fun. Thank you!!
