Very well maintained, and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. They live in the main house, so are available if needed.
It is a separate granny flat in the garden, so it is very private and quiet. There are grocery stores near by as well as pubs and restaurants.
It is a bit far from the city centre if you don’t have a car, but is well-serviced by bus lines (get the Breeze app) which at the time of writing were no more than £2 per ride.

Wonderful place for a stay in Southampton. Perfectly equipped with everything which is required for a couple. Very quite, in a good neighbourhood. Next to a beautiful park. For our stay, we could not have found a better place. Host Victoria is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent accommodation, compact and stylish. Immaculately clean with everything we needed. Easy parking and private entrance was a great asset.
Communication with owners was great, friendly and they couldn't have been more helpful.

The Annexe was a fantastic self catering property which was beautifully furnished and spotless. It was spacious and airy. The host was a lovely lady. The location was perfect for visiting family in Southampton. We will be returning on many occasions.

The Annexe met all of our requirements. It was clean and close to shopping and pubs. It was very close to The Common where we took some walks.
I'm 6ft 5inches and the bed was not big enough for me. This happens in many locations I stay at and I expected it to be short

It is quiet and peaceful. I was studying for a HGV test and attending training within 15 a minute drive so the location was great. Local shops and restaurants were within a 5 minute walk. The property is located in a quiet road.
The Annex is very clean and well presented with everything you need for a self contained stay.
One tiny thing. I couldn't find the instruction manual for the microwave but no big deal, I found a work around.

Great place to stay! Personal favourites were the induction hobs and the shower which was the perfect temperature at just the click of a button! Nice, comfy place, private, everything you need, great location next to the common. Couldn't ask for more! Highly recommended!

Great communication with the hosts. Quiet location with plenty of parking. All you need is in The Annexe. Highly recommended and will stay again when visiting Southampton. Fantastic!

Great location, only 3 miles from city centre and right on the edge of Southampton Common. Easily walkable. Plenty of food venues nearby. Very comfortable and really great hosts. A great place to use a a base for day trips.

What a fabulous find! It was so clean, spacious, and very welcoming. The attention to detail was spot on. Will definitely return again in the future :)

What a fabulous little place to stay in Southampton! We stayed for 11 nights whilst over for medical treatment, and during UK lockdown too. Victoria was the perfect host, really friendly and helpful, she gave us great tips on nearby walks, and helped us re: food delivery (as we were concerned about travelling around during the pandemic). Nothing was too much trouble.
The place itself is so warm and cosy, and has everything you need to cook meals at night.
We wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were back in Southampton, it's very much a home-from-home type of place, somewhere to relax and chill out. Really quiet too!
