Everything we needed was within walking distance. As well, in terms of sites all were very nearby.

The place is as clean as clean can be. Was exactly as described and in a perfect location right in the center of Hammondsport. Mini-frig and freezer came in handy. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great time at this convenient location. It is small as some others have mentioned - One open room with bed and living area- basically what I call a studio apartment. It was super clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not use the coffee service or microwave during our 3 day stay- but did appreciate the small fridge with small freezer section also. We could see the host is very attentive to suggestions from guests as some small ice cube trays and hooks near the door had been installed for guests to have a place to hang some clothes. We were able to park right outside on the street- once we parked further away when no spaces close (just around the corner) but by 9pm most of the cars clear out and we could move our vehicle closer. I would certainly stay here again if in the area.

What a great location. We could walk to everything. the town is charming. Beach was beautiful. Restaurants delightful! We ventured out to The Windmill and found some great fun and food shopping. Did some wine tastings and met up with friends. We will be back!

Everything about this little spot was just wonderful. Even though it was compact, it really had everything you’d need for a weekend getaway. It was really nice to have all you needed within walking distance too (grocery, restaurants, wine store, and ofc the lake). Whenever we had questions, Carla was quick to respond. I’d definitely consider adding the wifi info within the unit or welcome email. Also, I’d request to have the lawn mowed later in the morning. They were mowing right outside the window at 8:30am on Saturday. That said, We’d definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Everything you need for a weekend away!

A clean and updated studio apartment that was located right next to the square in Hammondsport, where there were good restaurants and shops. Very comfortable for a short stay of a few days, but a longer stay could be somewhat inconvenient, since there was no closet to hang clothes or a kitchen, but there is a refrigerator and microwave. For our 2 day stay it was perfect. The host was very responsive to any questions.

This place did not disappoint. Looks just like the pictures and VERY clean. It is right in the village so you are right where the shops and restuaurants are. Because the town closes up pretty early, (shops 5-6pm, restaurants 9-10) we were back in the room pretty early. Would have been nice to either be able to watch TV from the bed or have more comfortable seating for watching. Everything else was superb. Host was very responsive to any questions, bed was comfortable, coffee station had everything you would need. Loved, loved, loved it!

Well kept, clean and modern

Very clean, well equipped apartment right in town, just a few blocks walk to the lake. We used it as our home base for wine tasting, craft brew tasting and hiking. We drove around exploring several of the lakes. Don't miss Watkins Glen State Park about 30 minutes away.. breathtaking!!!

If you are looking to spend time in the town, this is a great location.

Right in town and easy to walk to everything Hammondsport. Short drive to several good wineries. Just be aware you need to reach out to landlord to get keycode, etc. She responds very quickly.

My husband and I have been going to Hammondsport for our family reunion for 25 years, and this is the best place we’ve stayed so far. The bed was incredibly comfortable, it had a nice size bathroom, and it was very clean. It was also in a great location in the center of town and was a good value overall. The only suggestions we would make are 1) provide some place to store clothes for longer stays (maybe use a dresser to support the TV?) and 2) replace the blinds with something that can block out light (maybe wooden blinds?). We hope to be back next year! :)

I’m from NYC born and raised! So this town was a breath of fresh air and just absolutely magical. The people here are so polite and amazing. Just simply cannot beat the location. We were walking distance from the lake! The room itself was amazing! Nice vibe and so comfortable. Myself and my husband fell in love with the town and again with each other!
