We enjoyed the house for our family of 5, with 3 adult children. What a great place with air conditioning if you need it or leaving the windows open at night to allow the tropical breeze to flow through. Nicely appointed with all the needs for the beach and for staying at the home. Nice fans to help with the air circulation Great laundry facilities Comfortable Patio and BBQ stove. I've had the privilege of visiting Maui 8 times and using VRBO to book private vacation homes in other locations countless times over the years. This home, and our experience with Dan was simply THE BEST I've ever experienced. The home, the pictures, the location - what you see is what you get... plus more. First and most importantly - the beds were all VERY comfy with great sheets. Second, when we travel, we like to cook like we're at home which typically means we need to bring extras, like a salad spinner, sharp knives, tea towels etc. All of that was unnecessary for this trip - the kitchen was so well equipped. Given that we were arriving late, we asked that Dan put some staples in the fridge before our arrival. Everything was there as requested and there was obscene surcharge. This owner/manager team know what customers of this caliber of home expect. It shows in the small things like providing Williams Sonoma hand soap & lotion in both bathrooms and kitchen, a tool box including extra batteries for the remotes and enough cleaning and paper products to last the entire stay vs. having to restock within two days. Simply put, they make you feel like a valued guest as opposed to an untrustworthy tenant. I can't wait to bring my family back to this home for another, longer stay!

Super-good location, it says Kihei, but it is really only few yards away from Wailea border, meaning nicer neighborhood. Awesome beach steps away, close to the stores, coffee shops, etc. The house is great, everything worked well, air-conditioning in every room. There is a tennis court steps away, if that's important. Can't wish for a better place!

This property is perfect in every way. It is located right across the street from a beach access point which is a very short walk to an outstanding beach which is a fantastic place to watch the sunset. It is within minutes to all the high end resorts, shops and restaurants of Wailea while also minutes form the more casual area of Kihei. It was also an easy location to reach the airport and to the sunrise bike tour. The house is very nice and well stocked, from items you'd need to cook to beach chairs, umbrella, etc. The tennis court is in good shape and we were the only house to play while we were there. The patio and landscaping makes you want to spend all your time outside. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of four consisting of two teenagers, although you could definitely put a few more in it. We would recommend this house to anyone and we would stay here again. Dan was extremely helpful prior to our trip on restaurant suggestions and during, helping us with a late checkout.

Close to beach, restaurants and a little away from the busy part of the town. AC is great to have when it’s that hot. Everything we needed was there to use.

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The house is superb. Spacious, modern and clean. The location right across the street from the beach can’t be beat. And as a tennis loving family, we loved having the court to play on. We would love to stay there again someday soon.

We had a seamless process confirming and checking in the home. The amenities were great. Very convenient location, awesome beach across the street, and convenient to everything without being in the crowds. Best of both worlds. Dan was easy to work with and communication was very good. Would definitely recommend.

The listing is accurate. Quite roomy home with washer/dryer (thank god), 2 bathrooms, and a well appointed management system. Very close to everything, I hope whoever books this location enjoys themselves.

My family and I had an amazing time in Kihei and that was due in no small part to this property. It had everything we could need: tennis rackets, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. The place was so elegant and yet homey. Plenty of space for 3 adult couples to hang together and have privacy. The outside seating and court were the cherries on the cake!

It's a great spot that is right across the street from an amazing beach. The house is remodeled and clean and has plenty of room for my kids and my inlaws. I would highly recommend this spot.

We had a group of 6 adults and the house was more than comfortable. We had a ton fun on the private tennis court in the back yard. As well as feeding the many cats and chickens that visit throughout the day. The beach is just across the street and the closet is packed with essentials like chairs, boogie boards etc... Most of all, Matt was a great host with great responsiveness. If any questions came up, I felt like I got answers very quickly. I would highly recommend this property!

The house is in a great location. Just a one minute walk from a very nice beach, especially for families and younger kids. The house has a well stocked kitchen and lots of beach equipment (boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, toys) for guests. The area was quiet and appeared very safe. There are resorts going up the road in both directions so you're not quite in the thick of things with the crowds, but it probably helps to contribute to the safety and cleanliness of the area. Cons-the property could use a remodel. While everything was pretty much functional, the house is a bit dated. For example, not all the sliding glass doors lock so there is a wooden stick/bar that is used to secure the doors. We did see a couple recently deceased cockroaches, but the owner warned us about this and does try to exterminate them. Some very small ants, but nothing too bad. I'm sure the whole area is going to have some bugs because it is a tropical location. But you're paying for the great location, not a fancy house. The pros definitely outweighed the cons though.

The proximity to the ocean was wonderful! We enjoy cooking & eating at home- the spaces available were great, with a nice grill- the knives were dull and also the blender wasn’t functioning at 100%. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The house is well laid-out and well furnished. A good beach is only a few steps away. We especially appreciated the beach/ocean equipment that was provided. The only draw-back is the street noise, which is notable in the early evening from traffic. Our grand-kids enjoyed putting out bird food and then we would try to identify all the types of birds. We would have appreciated having a separate recycling bin. Also, the tennis rackets were in very bad shape.

Nicely remodeled with new kitchen and baths! Very comfortable, well-maintained with beautiful grounds, and perfect for two couples or a family. The management office is very helpful and efficient. (They brought over bagged ice in 15 mins when we called to say that the icemaker was on the fritz. —-This is our second stay. (We liked it enough to come back for a second stay). We Really enjoyed this unit. Perfect location to a spectacular beach and the private tennis court is just off the patio. This is a wonderful, “low key” Kihei vacay home with a great “beach” vibe.

This is a great vacation home with all the amenities you could ask for plus the beach is virtually across the street with easy access and a shower. I would have given it five stars if it weren’t for the the street noises of cars, motorcycles, gardeners, trash collectors, etc. quite early in the morning. It really should only take off half a star, but I didn’t see a way to do that. Everything else was great. Wonderful tropical landscaping, large private grounds, charming birds, interior beach decor and a etched glass entranced that meets you when you’re coming and going through the front door. Three other homes are on the “retreat” that sit further back from the street, but they don’t look as private. Matt gave us a gift of an extra day’s stay, but we weren’t able to take advantage of it - mahalo Matt! The weather was perfect, the ocean warm with stores and restaurants and short car trip away. Would stay again the next time we’re in Kihei.

This was the perfect place for a Maui beach vacation. Walking across the street to a large, beautiful beach then coming back to a private and comfortable house made the trip. Quick trip up to Lahaina during off peak driving hours, but why drive anywhere? If you want the best meal that you've ever eaten and have masterfully mixed cocktails then Five Palms right across the street has you covered. Great poke at the patio at Ohana Seafood up the street. Walked the beach for miles. The bird show is a great way to wake up and enjoy a coffee while your brain catches up. The patio is a very comfortable place to relax and be social. The house had everything that we needed.

We loved the location of the house! Right across the street from a gorgeous beach. We usually visit several beaches by car but at this location we could walk to great beaches. No need to load up the car with all your gear when you can just walk across the street! The fully updated house had everything you need: beach towels, boogie boards, games, books, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. We especially loved the backyard: we fed the birds daily, played tennis and enjoyed all our meals outside. We look forward to our next visit!!

This is a private spot just across the street from a great beach. We have recommended it to friends because it's so much nicer than a condo experience. It's clean, comfortable and sleeps 6 easily (we had our 4 teenagers with us--they loved it too). The property managers and homeowners couldn't have been nicer, very accommodating to our needs. They made it so easy for us to get in and had all the beach gear etc we needed. Really top-notch service all around! And the beach is literally across the street, amongst multi-million homes. We never had any trouble finding plenty of space on the beach...and it's a great stretch of Maui beach to walk (especially south to Wailea). Overall great experience and can't wait to go back!

The house is comfortable and just across the street from the beach. It is also close to Kihei restaurants and shops and a short drive away from a number of great beaches. The only downside is that it is on the corner of a couple of somewhat busy roads. The road noise didn't bother me much but if you are sensitive to that, it might not be for you. I found the roosters crowing to be worse than the road noise though and you will have roosters crowing no matter where you are in Hawaii:-) I would stay here again.
