We had a fantastic time celebrating my mom's 60th birthday together. The house had plenty of room and things to do. Location was perfect. We did have a few issues with items not working. The fireplace in the living room wouldn't turn on. There were multiple blinds that were not working well. One panel in the game room upstairs is completely gone. The oven did not work. A man came by as we were checking in. Said he was there to fix the oven, but was not able to. Said he would return the next day, but he didn't. We were not made aware that he oven was out or that someone was scheduled to come fix it. We managed without the oven. Overall, would definitely recommend. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Had a great family vacation. Could of used more toilet paper, soap, trash bags and hand towels.

Super location. Property needs serious attention. We disregarded the negative reviews (was called sea perch prior) and we met with the same issues. Needs a very deep clean. Significant electrical and plumbing problems throughout stay. Lots of other very annoying issues which had me spending way more time on phone with management than I wanted while on vacation. It’s too bad because it has potential to be outstanding—just In dire need of care.

Beach view is beautiful and about the only Thing that was accurate about the photos and description. BUT this house was in TERRIBLE condition! Dirty and extremely unhealthy. The amount of mold was unbelievable, in every room. My mom was on oxygen with a lung disease and the amount of mold really exaggerated her condition and the trip was for her so it was really unfortunate. The amount of mold also made a few of our kids have coughs. The hot tub was absolutely disgusting and we were charged an additional $150 hot tub fee, it wasn’t even useable. I think the hot tub condition was described as a porta potty, and the landscape was not kept up, especially on the stairs to the beach. The house is just gross, and the pictures were really edited to be deceiving! And you will be sore from the beds! The amount of money we spent on this house for what it was is UNBELIEVABLE. Do not waste your money on this house!

House is smaller than it seemed in pictures.. especially the living room. The view is amazing. The bed sheets and pillow cases were hard to find for the pullout couches. Also, the blankets were dirty, not everything was dusted and the downstairs toilet was not cleaned properly. Overall a great stay but the housekeeping of the house needs improvement.

The location of the house could not be beat; ocean front with the beach only steps away. Being able to sit in the hot tub while enjoying the ocean views was amazing! The house had some quirks ( some rooms only being accessed from another room, etc.), but that made it fun for the kids to explore. The game rooms were fantastic. The listing on vrbo indicated that the house has 5 bedrooms. That is not true. It only has 4 bedrooms with the "5th" room being a den with a foosball table and bunk beds, but the room does not have a door so no privacy if an adult needed to stay in the room. Overall, we had a great stay with friends.

The house is very roomy. The massive table was awesome-great for a jigsaw puzzle and still plenty of room for playing games or dining. Everything works! Location can’t be beat-a few easy steps down to the beach. Highly recommend!

We rented this home so our kids (2 with spouses) and 8 grandkids could help us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. I believe your pictures were misleading and the home is not as large as I expected, but we dealt with that. Only 2 bedrooms had ocean view, so were disappointed with that. Only had one walk in shower, but we also figured that out. I guess I don't understand the high cost of 7 nights when it is stocked with dollar store items. Very disappointing. But it did have 2 refrigerators which was awesome! The view & deck were wonderful as was the easy convenience of stairs to the beach. That was the Very Best Part. Parking was challenging at times but doable. Overall we enjoyed our week because we love each other & love to be together! I am pretty sure I would not rent this home again, but would rent in that area. Was a very convenient location!!

Our family goes to the Oregon coast once a year and this is our favorite beach house. We have stayed here several times. It has everything we need and is just a really nice house.

Although it rained 95% of the time we were there it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the hot tub and look out over the ocean. Beds were comfortable. The heat throughout the house was inconsistent and hard to maintain at a comfortable level. We did have to BBQ outside in the dark because we could not find how to turn on the light above the BBQ. Many light switches in the house, not sure what they all do! Our biggest annoyance was the sectional couch doesn't stay together and if laying on couch we would often fall between the sections if someone moved. Overall it was a great stay but not sure it was worth the cost.

It turned out to be a great weekend with only a shower on Friday morning. House was Perfect for the whole family and grandkids. we couldn't have asked for better accomodations. The private beach access was a plus just a few stairs to the sand. It was clean and well stocked and with there extra fridge in the garage we even had plenty of freezer space. The views were it!

The coffee pot was great but there was no coffee and no cream or sugar so make sure you take you own. They did have plenty of filters. The home was well stocked and very clean when we arrived. There is plenty of room for everyone as well as all of the treasures you bring back from shopping. The only thing I would suggest is upgrading the beds. They are very hard and uncomfortable. Owners may also want to take the time to touch up paint in the home. You can see a lot of finger prints on all of the door jams, around the light switches and doors. Other then that we had a great time!

Great, upgraded deck and stairs to the beach. Wrap around widows, upstairs and down. Never enjoyed washing dishes so much as I did in the open and airy kitchen. Bedrooms roomy and comfortable. Even the garage with new glass door, enormous windows, and pool table was a hit. Roads End is our favorite location. Will book another stay for next year for sure.

Was expecting a luxury beach rental as listed, but this home fell short unfortunately. Arrived to find a note on the dishwasher that said “sorry, dishwasher is broken. Don’t use.” Inside the dishwasher was standing rancid water that nobody bothered to tell us about beforehand. The cleanliness of the home gets a half star for me, I swept up an entire dustpan of food, game pieces, sand, food wrappers, and dirty socks (not ours) on our first evening there and that was just what was hiding under the sofa. Not all the beds were made, instead the bunk beds ( which my kids were excited to use) just had the linens left folded on top of the mattress for us to make ourselves. Yea! Just what I want to do after washing dishes by hand is go make up bunk beds so my kids can go to sleep. The washing machine didn’t operate correctly I learned … after my load of laundry spent 5 hours in the agitating cycle and then wouldn’t spin and rinse. Ugh. The views from this home were amazing, but that was about it. Disappointed to have shelled out what I did on this rental.

Pros: Large house accommodates a big group well. Beautiful views! Great beach and close to town. Game rooms were great for the kids. Cons: Had cleaning to do upon arrival. Sticky table tops, pots and pans in cupboards with food chunks on them. Overloaded dishwasher was full. Outside garbage cans were full. I called about that and someone came out to empty them, but we didn’t want to interrupt our stay with someone coming out to clean the house again. We later found garbage under beds (including half eaten rice crispy treat), pile of sunflower seeds on the windowsill, and at least 2’x2’ apparent pee stain on one of the bunk beds that did not have a sheet on it. We had a good time overall, but did note other reviews have had some similar complaints.

We stayed at this house with 10 family members. The location was prefect. We walked down the steps to the huge lovely beach. We walked to the tide pools and enjoyed the views. We only wish we stayed longer

A+ for location, deck, view and space to spread out 12 people. Not so happy with black mold on shower liner, next to no kitchen supplies ( no foil, storage bags or plastic wrap), and so many extra fees.

Such a fun place to stay. The windows all around the house just made the stay so pleasant. Rooms are set up great for grandparents, kids, and teens.. This home was perfect for our group. And the billard room is so cool with all the natural light.
