Everything we needed for a long weekend getaway

Peaceful, relaxing & comfy cottage for our Thanksgiving weekend getaway and perfect for our pooch, too. Especially enjoyed our many walks through neighborhood streets with wonderful old Victorian homes on the way to the ocean and restaurants.

Great stay. Enjoyed having bikes and beach cart. Responsive host.

Lovely, clean , comfortable cottage in quiet residential area, in a great location to everything. Had a little difficulty with electronic door lock, but became easier . Only suggestion- a few more cereal bowls and small glasses.

Great location, private and very clean and quaint. It is small, but that is exactly what you expect. We had a great time and would definitely come back with our dog.

Very nice, clean rental that is within walking distance to the beach, shopping and dining. Owners are very responsive and helpful. The only downside is the cottage is actually part of a bigger house with other renters. You can hear some noise from the upstairs renters but we were lucky it wasn’t too bad.

Tried this instead of a hotel room at the beach. Relatively quiet, a few blocks walk or bike ride to the beach or anything we needed. A full kitchen, washer and dryer, grill, a stable of bikes, and free chairs and umbrella were provided at the beach. A definite do again.

The house's location is great and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and beach. It was very well cleaned before we arrived. The only downsides were no cable TV or streaming alternative, and the outdoor canopy and table/chairs were missing, which differs from the photo we saw before booking.

This property was perfect for us. We were able to walk into town and the beach. We even had front row seats for the Christmas Parade a few feet away from the property.

We enjoyed our stay, and are repeat visitors to Cape May. Knowing the area has its pluses, and always more to explore…

Overall nice, but as another reviewer reported, the bed was a little hard. Additionally, the place had a bit of a musty smell. Between the fees and linen service, this was not a great value. It was okay but would I stay again? Probably not.

We absolutely enjoyed staying at your cottage! It was the perfect facility for us. Our puppy loved it too.

Sea Turtle Cottage is perfect for a couple. Even our dog enjoyed our stay! It’s private but very accessible to Washington Mall, Broadway and Cove Beaches. We walked or rode the bikes provided by the owner everywhere. We are planning to return to the cottage during the same week next year.

The cottage was well stocked with what was needed, comfortable and convenient to everything. Loved it!

Nice, mostly quiet, clean home. Karen was extremely responsive to anything we needed, which we appreciated. The bed was a little hard for our personal liking, but we adjusted to it after the first night. There were a ton of mosquitos, so definitely bring bug spray if you plan to spend time outside. The parking was really convenient and the home is very close to pretty much everything, so we mostly used our car to get around. I would stay here again if we go back. Thanks!

My wife and I had a wonderful time

Cute and comfortable place in a great location. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, Washington St Market, and quick drive to the lighthouse, Marina, and ferry. Had everything we needed for the 3 days we were there, included a nice outdoor space to sit out and enjoy our morning coffee with our dogs. Karen made the whole process easy and smooth. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the Sea-Turtle cottage was a charming and relaxing experience. The amenities made our stay very comfortable, however we believe that former tenants needed to have more respect for the next. The grill was left a mess of burnt BBQ sauce, which we cleaned. The dresser drawers were left with sand in them, which we had to vacuum out. The pillow case covers looked sketchy to us, and because there was a washer and dryer and cleaning supplies provided, we were able to clean them. We enjoyed the feeling of this cottage and prefer it to a hotel room. It felt like being in a home away from home. The location of the property to grocery was convenient, as we mostly cooked our own meals. We treated the property with utmost respect, even moving the outdoor furniture under the awning before the rains came in for the last day or so of our stay. I would recommend this property for any who enjoy the experience of staying in a cottage rather than a hotel room. A short walk or bike ride to the beach or sunset pavilion make this an excellent location.

The location, the feeling, the amenities - This cottage really has it all. My family took a short trip here, but enjoyed everything the cottage had to offer. It is close to the beach and a few minutes from restaurants and about a 12 to 15 minute walk to the downtown. The fact that the rental even offers bikes and a grill was a surprising and pleasant addition. The place was welcoming and made our stay quite comfortable

This place was nice and clean; pretty small though. It was perfect for my husband and I but would be pretty tight for 4 people. One thing I did not get from the listing was that this is a tiny part of a much bigger house which is also rented out. I could definitely hear people moving around in the other unit, but it wasn't a big deal (to us). Also the property owners have done a good job of making the 2 units feel very separate, so this place seems private enough. The location is great. In a nice and very residential neighborhood but easy walking distance to the downtown (about 1/2 mile) & the beach (also about 1/2 mile). At night you can hear the waves on the beach if you are outside :) We also rode the bikes to the lighthouse that's maybe 2 or 2.5 miles which was great (you can actually go up to the top!). My only issue(s) had to do with the booking process. First, before you can actually book you have to take out insurance, which is an extra $100. Then you realize that this place doesn't provide sheets or towels (but you can rent them for even more money), which just seems kinda ridiculous to me (tho maybe it's standard, idk). Then after booking I was sent a pretty detailed lease to read & sign which was just a bit annoying and seems odd (also there's a clause in the lease saying that if the house is destroyed by fire etc before your stay, you don't get a refund which is totally unreasonable). Overall we had a great stay here and I had no complaints about the house itself, but I did feel a bit nickel-and-dimed during the booking process.

The Sea Turtle Cottage was a great place to stay. Beautiful cottage in a neighborhood that is just a short walk to the Beach and several fantastic restaurants. The owners were very helpful. My husband and I both felt we had a lovely get away.. We will definitely rent the Sea Turtle Cottage again.

Wonderful stay in a cute little cottage in excellent location in West Cape May. Perfect for a couple, a little small for our family especially with our dog. Great walking distance to beaches, shops and restaurants. Can hear some sound from other rental, would be bad if it were a loud group, but we had good neighbors. Thanks for the fun stay!
