Couldn’t ask for better beach access

We all loved our stay! The house is simple, but cozy. It was clean and the owners addressed any questions and issues within a few moments. The deer came up to the porch several times a day and the access to the beach is just a few steps. The island itself is perfect for relaxing or staying active. We saw dolphins several times a day from the front porch. Book the golf cart, it’s a great deal and you will need it. We will be back!

Our favorite part was sitting on the porch overlooking the ocean while rocking in the wonderful rocking chairs. The porch is covered and there is a nice breeze so we never got hot. The house suited our needs nicely. There was a slight musty smell in the common areas if the air conditioning wasn’t running but that would be the only thing that bothered us. We loved the two refrigerators!

Perfect house on the beach, fripp is amazing. Hosts we're great. We will be back.

The Fripp Side is a great house to rent! Perfect location. You can see the sunrise and set. We were a group of 8 ladies. Plenty of room!!! Thank you for sharing!

The location of this property can’t be beat. We had plenty of room for our group of 5 adults and 3 children. Communication with owners was very good. Looking forward to booking our next stay!

Absolutely wonderful, 9 adult women had plenty of space and the views were phenomenal. Very well stocked kitchen and we used the grill 4 out of five times. The owners were nothing short of fabulous, very helpful and thorough. Great stay

We loved our family beach week at Fripp Side! We had our grown children and 4 grandchildren- (ages 1,1, 2, 3). We loved the porches with views of sunsets and sunrises only a short beach walk away! Amazing!! The house was comfortable. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

We loved the location of this home, with views of the beach and the marsh. Beach was virtually private. Well appointed kitchen; love the 2 fridges and ovens for our large group! Beds were very comfortable. Super fun having the kayaks and golf cart. Living and dining areas were very comfortable for a large group. Played a lot of games at the table in the sun room! Owners were super easy to work with, vs going through a property manager. Will definitely consider returning here for future Fripp visits.

You couldn't ask for a better location! The house met all of our accommodation needs. The house had a slight musty odor but nothing a little spray air freshener didn't take care of. The sunroom was perfect for doing craftwork and keeping it out of the way of my Grandchildren. The beds were very comfortable for all. The owners responded promptly to any extra questions. The golf cart was awesome, accomodating 6 people at a time. So much fun! Overall, the stay was excellent!

This property was the perfect set up for our family. The space in this home is ample and the location is great! We did encounter some problems when we arrived, however the owners were very responsive and attentive to our needs. We had a wonderful trip with our family!

My family really enjoyed staying at "The Fripp Side". It's a perfect location for both sunrise and sunset viewing, and the home was spacious and nicely decorated with easy & close beach access. The owners were extremely responsive, accommodating, and easy to deal with. Wildlife is everywhere on the Island, watch dolphins, osprey & pelicans from the sun room and deer will come right in the yard. Highly recommended for a happy experience!

Owners super easy the communicate with House handled our family well with the open concept ideal and large enough for several activities to be going at the same time. Location is excellent with the view of ocean both exciting and calming at the same time We have stayed on Fripp 7 times and this house is in our top 3

We loved our stay at the Frippside. The house was large and roomy. The views were amazing and location was great. Would definitely return !

This location was perfect! Watching the tides change was exhilarating and the sunrise/sunsets beautiful. The whole area has much to offer. We enjoyed buying fresh fish everyday from local markets.

My family stayed at The Fripp Side for Thanksgiving week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was plenty of room and the beach access and views couldn’t have been better. The kitchen is well stocked & there were plenty of seats available for the whole family to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. It’s an older home but the new owners are making renovations and it’s not in bad condition as is! Communication with the owners was great & we have already planned to come back and stay again next year!

We loved the house and the sunsets and sunrises are fantastic. I could set on the porch all day and watch the ocean. We seen a lot of dolphins one day.

Fripp Side was perfect for our family’s purposes - a getaway for grandparents, their son and daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters, 14 and 11. The open, spacious floor plan was just right for us to talk excitedly about the waves, the sea shells we found, the friendly, unafraid deer, and the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, even as someone was preparing a meal, decorating homemade cookies, or writing a new worship song with a guitar. The arrangement of bedrooms and baths made everything convenient. Our girls had a room to themselves, and even their American Girl dolls had a bed to themselves. This was our first trip to Fripp Island, and we loved being among homes instead of high rise hotels or condos. The whole experience invited us to relax and slow down. Even the speed limit for cars is a leisurely 25 mph, though for the more popular golf carts it was 15. In late September, the loudest noises we had to deal with came from cheery hellos, seagull squabbles, an occasional helicopter flyover, or the excited squeals of children in the community pools. Adults who prefer to swim without children are thoughtfully provided for as well, though we didn’t partake of them. We often had a large expanse of beach to ourselves, and everyone we encountered felt like old friends we had not yet met. Before we left, we had a family meeting to discuss our week. Each person shared what was the best and worst things. Coming up with “worst” was hard, and the vote to return was unanimous. Our 11-yr. old said what we were all thinking. “Why can’t we just live here!”

Best area on Fripp for beach, quiet and magnificent sun sets. Owners are planning some needed updates for an already excellent layout. Very family friendly and owners are great communicators.

Wonderful location with amazing views right on the beach. Excellent price for Fripp Island. Responsive and kind owners made for a great experience. Everyone from my toddler to my grandmother immensely enjoyed their vacation.

Wonderful week for our large family! Plenty of space-we spent most of our time on the back porch with great views. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. The best part is the beach access!!!

This house was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 4 children. We loved the quiet beach right outside the house and appreciated the shower and hose to clean up before going inside. The kitchen was very well stocked. Some of the beach toys and chairs that came with the house were very old and probably should be replaced, but the house itself was well maintained. The downstairs room was lovely and very fresh as was the rest of the house (we've stayed in other beach houses where the bottom floor was musty - this one wasn't). We had a wonderful time!

We just loved the ocean front view and had a good time over there. We could see sunset from the porch itself. Great place if anyone looking for vacation.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this home. We know that the owners just recently purchased the home and are making a lot of improvements. The inside of the home was very comfortable and nice easy access to the beach! The porches are very nice and the views are incredible. The only negative would be the windows and doors need to be replaced, but it was still a great home.
