Loved our stay. The house had almost everything you need inside and out. The house and the rest of the island is very family oriented. I will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time here, the home was great and had everything we needed for our stay. The back deck had such amazing views of the bay! We spent most of our days and evenings sitting out there talking and taking it all in. There is some construction going on next door. A notice for that would have been nice as it was VERY loud, but over-all we had a wonderful time!

The property is rundown and needs maintenance and overall TLC. It also had not been cleaned properly, there was mold in the bathrooms and dust and dog hair throughout the house. If these items were addressed it would be a great house to stay at.

Family of four adults spent the week at this lovely decorated rental. The view of the bay was so relaxing. We rented chairs and umbrellas and spent our days going to our own private beach on the bay. Overall this was a beautiful and fantastic place to stay. We were there with 4 adults each wanting our own room. We wanted to relax, enjoy nature, play games, cook our own food and unwind for a week. This was achieved. The kitchen was very big with plenty of the necessary items for cooking.. There were lots of cute plates and glasses so we did not have to constantly do the dishes. Plenty of storage and very clean. The laundry was right off the kitchen on the first floor so very convenient. I would say a new regular coffee pot would be nice instead of the keurig. The one that was there worked but the top was slightly broken. There were two refrigerators which was handy. The dish washer was rusted on spots on the racks but worked. The knives definitely need sharpening or replacement. I have stayed in similarly priced houses where the kitchen cooking and storage items were organized and the drawers labeled. That would have helped a lot. The dining table was large, overlooked the bay and plenty of room for eating and games. I would suggest tightening it so it does not wobble. The living area was just off of here and had a great TV and electric fire place which came in handy some days. The sun room was also very cute. The porch was wonderful, looked at the bay, plenty of chairs, a hose to rinse off the sand. This was our favorite spot to sit and relax. The beach on the bay was an easy walk. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We were planning on using the third floor look out bedroom but it was extremely hot and humid when we arrived and did not cool off easily. Our temperatures ranged from 81 the beginning of the week to 32 the end! It took the first day to cool off using a fan to blow the air up to that area. So one adult slept in the day bed which was passable but not the best. Overall temperature regulation was a challenge in part due to the very fluctuating outside temperatures. We are used to the well insulated houses of the north as well!! Also you cannot open the windows and the third floor windows and several others were a challenge to see out of we think due to the double pane seals. Plenty of bedding and closet space and bathrooms. The location was excellent. A short drive to the west end of the island for fantastic ocean beach walks and amazing sunsets. It was extremely quiet and not too populated when we were there. I have tried to give an honest review and overall would stay here again

Saw Dolphins, and Crabs from(and In) our back yard! Would definitely recommend. Note for Management: the only Issue we had was on the night before we left, the Wifi stopped working for some reason. A bit of an inconvenience. Otherwise had a great stay! :)

We loved our stay at the bay house! The house was very clean and has everything we needed. Access to the bay was great for little ones and the beach was an easy, short walk. There are some sharp broken shells when you first wade in, so water shoes are a must.

This was our second time staying at the Bay House and our time here was just as lovely as the first. We chose to come back because we love the location on the bay and the house is equipped with anything we would ever need, especially in the kitchen! The house is so nice and cozy and the bay is so peaceful and quiet. We cannot wait to plan our next trip to the Bay House!!

We really enjoyed this beautiful home. The bay access to a private beach was awesome, and only steps from Oceanside. The town is very quiet and not a lot of people which was also nice. We plan to return! Thank you!

This home is a perfect location on Dauphin Island. It is well stocked and beautifully decorated. The back door leads to a lovely deck that is gated. You walk down the lighted deck to the sandy walkway, and then are right on the beach. The water is shallow enough to walk out about 75 feet. Birds fly through and occasionally dive for fish. This house is on the bay side of the island so we didn’t have to worry about rip tides. Many shells to look at and chairs are available to bring down to the shore. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. The deck has a water spout to rinse your feet and your dogs after you visit the beach. The kitchen is stocked and functional and has a dishwasher. Washer and dryer are just off the kitchen and work well. The tv room is comfortable and includes dish. There are some games to play as well. Very quiet neighborhood. The rooms are comfortable and each has its own bathroom with shower. Amazing views of the beach from every room. Each room has double doors that open to the upper deck. We rented bikes and roses across the island. This house is about 2 miles to downtown. The place was impeccably clean. I highly recommend! It was the perfect getaway from our busy life.

Bayhouse is exactly as appears on the listing and photos when we rented. Clean linens, very well supplied, comfortable beds, lots of room to relax. Great views and quiet walks to bay. Easy walk to gulf. Most of all, glad we could bring our large dog. We would love to come again.

We had a great long weekend at the Bay House. It is so charming, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The view is great, feels very private. The decks are even more spacious than the pictures show.Our one complaint was that there is no door to the downstairs sleeping area. Also to get to the charming cupola bedroom you have to go through the master bedroom. It was ok for us because we are a family but might be a problem for some.
