Bed was comfy and room was clean, nice space for £65.

There was no toothpaste, which seems like a bare minimum to me.

Location is brilliant for visiting the NEC. Staff were friendly, cheerful and informative. Room was clean, comfy and warm.

Bathroom is what we'll charitably call compact, and while the breakfast buffet was convenient and tasty I'm not sure it was worth the price charged

Breakfast was continental and very nice. Also as It was my birthday the management gave me a complimentary drink in the bar. and staff very helpful and very pleasant. had a lovely chat with them and they were very friendly.

There wasn't anything I really liked. The only thing that slightly soured it was next morning when I left the person at Reception insisted that I hadn't paid for breakfast when I had but they never came back to me so I presume it had been sorted.

We were charged for breakfast despite showing them our email which clearly said breakfast was included in the price. Breakfast was very poor - cheap cereals, one mini muffin on display (one customer had 5 on his plate), cheap bread. Had to pay £6 to stay in their car park.

The bed was so hard I woke up thinking I was sleeping on the floor my last night I went to bed just after 1.30 I had to be up for 7.30 for my train not happy AT all

The location was ideal for nec Birmingham and access to motorway m6. If you walk you better be prepared for a long walk certainly if you have mobility problems could be challenging..

I hadn't realised there was £6 CAR park fee which should have been highlighted more in the booking fee. My room was cold but the staff provided me with a heater, the hotel heating is on a timer, it came on at 6.30am.

Very basic breakfast, cheap bread and cereals no none dairy milk, fruit on offer was a bowl of apples

No staff around in the morning if you needed anything, bathroom soo small the door hit the sink and didn’t open fully, toilet was squeezed in next to the tiny shower cubicle

The staff seemed very nice and were helpful.

The grout round the shower tray was black & mouldy, the bed was very small and most uncomfortable. We had to ask for the room to be changed., which the staff did straight away. The rooms were very small and there were holes in the sheets.

Size of the room should have been better advertised. But it was comfortable.

The breakfast was mediocre. It was described as full continental. basically it was cereal and orange juice and toast. A full continental (in my view) has cheese, ham, meats, much more choice.

My room was really poor and eventually with your help it was changed to a much better room. Booking.com were excellent in bringing about the change of room. I didn`t like the charge for parking which I was not expecting. My first room had such an old bed I could feel the springs in my back. The shower only worked on hot water, the cold didn`t work. So it was either scalding water or no shower.

I asked to swap rooms due to room being very tiny and dark, curtains falling off , and staff were able to do this for me. Staff were friendly

Some unsanitary looking splashes on the wall by the bed. Unexpected car park charges. Lack of chocolate (booking confirmation indicates chocolate provided in the room, host advised this is incorrect.

Extremely noisy. It’s an old wooden house and there was a lot of noise. Also the walls and doors are thin you can hear the others easily.
