The property is beautiful with a great location. A drawback was the water used for showering and in the sinks smelled horrible, it was very overpowering. Other people in the building had the same complaint, but we didn’t know what caused it. The other issue during our stay was we had was a family of three young children staying above us, and you could hear every thing they did it’s almost as if there is no insulation between the two units. I emailed the owner a few times to ask questions and didn’t get any response.. With all that said, it is a wonderful property very close to the beach. The unit provided beach chairs, one which was broken, but there were only three of us so it worked out fine. And, we thought it odd that the master bedroom didn’t have any lamps on the bedside tables and the ones in the second bedroom were so faint you couldn’t really read by them.

Happy Ours far exceeds expectations as a relaxing, immaculate beach front rental! This rental was cleaner than clean! Everything anyone would need such as beach chairs and toys, extra bedding, updated appliances, and charge cords add to the peacefulness of this special spot on Surfside Beach. The deck is perfect for watching the sunrise over the ocean whether sitting on the captain chairs or lounging on the couch. There is even a second deck from which one can see the sunset as well. The complimentary beach tote was the cherry on top of an relaxing, stress free vacation at Happy Ours.

This was our second stay at this property and we just love it! It's the perfect size for a family of 4 to 5. It's clean, quiet and comfortable, new and modern. This also has one of the closest decks to the waves that I can find. Wonderful ocean views from all around. The beach is super family friendly and the waves are perfect for boogie boarding. The owner is attentive and quick to respond. We are already dreaming of when we can return.

We stayed here with our family for a weekend. Happy Ours was the perfect pick! It had everything we needed and more. It was clean and cozy, and the view from the deck is just amazing! If we plan another trip to Surfside, Happy Ours will be our top pick for places to rent.

Our trip started out with an "OMG" moment, because we could not locate the condo. Two calls to Brenda helped a lot, when we finally realized how far off we were. The "Howard st" sign was only at the beach end of the street, and I guess I was just bumfuzzled by all the similar condos. When we finally found the street, my wife remembered something in one of the paragraphs about "unit H" or I probably would still be looking. LOL The layout was great. Everything seemed to work properly, and as you said, the beach makes locks stiff to open. The teens enjoyed their time in the surf, and having them in a separate bedroom worked wonders. Thanks for the beach bag, but we left it for the next user, as we have too many already. For us, the Seahorse restaurant Shrimp boil was a highlight, and the beach was not very crowded. Thanks to you both from the CD crew.

Loved the location and convenience to the beach! The deck was great for hanging out. Super cute place with thought put into the amenities for guests.

The property is beautiful, it's as beachfront as you can get with a great view from the patio! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

We had such a great time here. The house was very clean and the owners have added a lot of thoughtful touches such as chargers at each beside table, beach towels for your use, reading lights, etc. The beautiful view from the porch was awesome as well and the short walk to the beach can't be beat. We will be back!

Just a few steps from the beach with no view obstruction from the balcony. Great bar/restaurant just a 3-4 minute walk down the beach. Very clean and comfortable unit. Will definitely be coming back.

This is the PERFECT location to get away, and relax. It’s got a small beach town feel, beautiful views, and a clean beach that you can take a nice stroll on. The property is clean, beautifully decorated and centrally located. We loved our vacation!

Happy Ours is a wonderful and comfortable property that’s perfect for small families! Very clean and well taken care of. The owner was very quick to respond. This house is directly on the beach with walkway access. Beach toys, chairs and even a canopy were provided. Those deck chairs are perfect view of the beach! Fast wi fi! Do bring your own cooking essentials like salt, pepper and oil. Also bring water to cook with and drink as well as ice because city water is no good. We’ll definitely rent this property again!

Great week by the ocean! My only major problem was a lack of TV cable or Satellite.

The house was nicer than the pictures online indicated. I can't say enough about how clean and comfortable it was. The issue I ran into is that the address was nowhere on the listing or in the communication from the owner. I emailed the owner and tried the VRBO chat function to get the address and received no response from the owner. Because of this, I had to get a hotel room for my first night's stay. The owner never responded to three emails requesting the address. I was able to get the address from customer service the next day but missed out on a night in this lovely home and had to find a hotel in the middle of the night.

This place is beautiful, kid friendly and SUPER CLEAN! Prime location, easy walk to the beach. Everything is provided, beach chairs, grill, beach toys, beach wagon etc. The beds were so comfortable too. Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful time and plan on returning.

We had a great time. The property was just like new. Very clean. Location was great. Close enough to restaurants/bars/store etc, but distanced enough to make for a quiet relaxing vacation. Thank you so much. This was the vacation we needed.

The condo was clean and well stocked. I do wish however there were grilling utensils.

This property was amazing. There was plenty of room for my family of 4 and would have accommodated a few more very comfortably. It was very clean and seemed to be newly built. You can see the ocean from the living room and both bedrooms. There are also 2 patios with beach views as well. My favorite place to be was on the east patio that is essentially on the beach. There are 2 captains chairs that face the beach and give you a bird's eye view of the waves and the sand. I spent most of my time in one of those chairs watching the waves roll in. It felt like I was sitting on the beach, they are so close. You don't even need to go down to the sand unless you are ready to get in the ocean. When you are ready for a swim there is a boardwalk steps from the end of the driveway that takes you right out to the shore. The rest of the amenities are great as well. Modern decor and appliances with a fully stocked kitchen and a Keurig coffee maker. There is a small charcoal grill, beach chairs and toys available for your use as well. Lots of hooks around to hang your wet towels and shower at the foot of the stairs to rinse off the sand. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The showers have good water pressure and the heads were positioned tall enough for our 6 foot family, which is always a plus for us! We loved the bar height dining table for that reason too. The owner is very attentive and quick to respond. We stayed over Spring Break 2021. The beach contained mostly families and gave a family friendly vibe. I would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the warmer weather as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
