We had an amazing experience with both the owner & the home. It was a good size for us & the amenities in the community were excellent. The kids had a blast. Cathleen was also exceptional. She was quick to respond & extremely helpful. We would recommend this home to friends & family.

The home was great! Everything we needed for the week was provided. The owner sent us all the events going on for the week and also was available for any questions that poppped up!

We could not have had a better stay! The communication from Cathleen was perfect from the beginning and the description and photos of the house seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. Not only was the house exactly as described, it was even better than we expected. Getting there was a breeze especially with the detailed instructions Cathleen provided. When we arrived the house was bright and clean with a lovely welcome station right at the front door. The welcome binder was full of helpful information about the house & property. And the house itself was just awesome. The master bedroom was so nice, especially the bathroom!! Beautiful kitchen, everything labeled to make things easy to find & put away. The kids had an absolute blast in the basement, it was the perfect hangout with games, tv, their own table to eat at, bathroom & bunk beds!! And the bedrooms upstairs were lovely and beautifully decorated. I just love all the little decorative details, this place felt so warm. We really felt at home. The Hideout property is awesome…there is so much to do. Our kids had fun in the arcade, we played paddle ball, we even learned how to play Pickleball! This was my first time using vrbo but we’ve used the air site before and this was the best home vaca rental experience we’ve had yet. Thank you so much Cathleen!

We had an incredible time at Cathleen’s place. Kitchen was great and overall the house was very spacious. Game room was a blast for the kids and the parents. We broke out a competitive game of scrabble. Teens loved skiing all day. Adults enjoyed sitting on the deck with a fire looking at the beautiful woods. Highly recommend

The house offered us the perfect place for a group of friends to reconnect and celebrate a birthday. The house was clean and had plenty of space for 8 of us. The property owner was very responsive as well. I’d like to come back in the summer to use the outdoor fire pit as it was a little too cold during our visit. All in all great weekend away.

It was a ladies weekend, we stayed in the house all weekend and just hung out. It was great for what we were looking for

Cathleen and her house are simply amazing. Not only was she super accommodating on short notice, Cathleen was so helpful in helping us getting an item that we left behind. Super clean house. Amazing layout for any family. Highly recommended.

We had a great trip! The house was so clean and everything we needed was right there. We all had plenty of room to relax & enjoy our time together. Cathleen was very responsive and answered all our questions. The community is also beautiful and has many activities going on all the time. Thank you for everything!

My friends and I had an incredible time during our stay. The Autumn colors through the house matched the beautiful location and wonderful fresh air, which further brought a lively smile to my face. And the looks on everyone else's faces when they realized the sense of freedom. The community has lots of activities and Cathleen sent us plenty of information so we could decide what to do. We really enjoyed staying warm by the fires and playing in the game room when we were back at the house. Cathleen is the most responsive host I've ever had the pleasure of booking with. We will be certainly be back!

Nice getaway in a well equipped house

The house was great for our weekend getaway. The community had a lot of activities and outdoor facilities for our teens to use, and the Club House was perfect for Sunday football games and food! Great upstairs bedrooms and plenty of room for the four of us. The outdoor deck was awesome, and so was the firepit! Thank you!

There was an overwhelming sense of familiarity and warmth once we entered our home at the Hideout. Everything that we needed to make our stay relaxing and comfortable was at our fingertips! We were able to enjoy nature as we gazed out of the large kitchen window or took photos on the deck, we bonded together watching movies in the large family room downstairs, and we made future plans as we interacted in the living room demonstrating various talents that we'd developed over the past year. We had so much fun. I highly recommend this property for its care, comfort, and warmth.

We all enjoyed the amenities of the hideout, including kayaking and swimming. We also went to nearby Lake Wallenpaupack to fish and boat. The house itself had plenty of bedrooms, a well-stocked, updated kitchen, a nicely renovated basement and master suite and a convenient, private deck with a new grill. Cathleen was wonderful to deal with. She and her husband went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of properly. She also gave us some good suggestions and answered questions promptly.

We were 3 families with kids of mixed ages from 11-30 and everyone had a blast. The house was just what we needed, clean, comfortable and spacious, with plenty of things to do around the community or in the house. Our favorite part was the game room with plenty of games and the fire pit outside. Cathleen was simply amazing, any question we had she answered immediately. Overall, I highly recommend this house. Sleeping accommodations were great, early risers had the beautiful deck to enjoy, and the late sleepers were able to continue sleeping ! There was so much to do at the Hideout, the only problem was figuring out what to do! Our host, Cathleen was very helpful, responsive, and willing to do whatever/help out in any way to make our stay perfect! The kitchen was stocked with anything you could imagine! Cathleen even got a crock pot from her home in the kitchen for our use when I messaged her prior to our arrival, if one was available! You can’t go wrong choosing the Rosemont on Thornwood Drive! I can't recommend staying at this property enough. The house was beautiful and very spacious. The downstairs area was amazing for our family to hangout in. Cathleen was informative from the moment that we inquired about booking the house. She informed us of numerous places to visit around the area, including tubing at Montage Mountain which we went to. During our stay we wanted to buy sleds and couldn't find any in any stores. We asked her for suggestions and she immediately gave us places to call and ended up setting us up to meet a couple in the community to purchase sleds from them. The development was beautiful and there was so much to do there including skiing. for a fraction of the cost at a ski resort. Overall my family and I would definitely come back to rent the house! Thank you for a beautiful stay!
