Above the Law is superb in every way! First class! We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here, and hope to be able to again soon.

The property was perfect for what we needed. First time visit to Natchez so close to all the sights we were going to see. Several great restaurants within walking distance. Richard was a great host. Responded very quickly to any question. The place was very clean and well stocked with lots of extras. The a/c worked great. The only disadvantage was the stairs for 3 older women carrying luggage but we managed. Would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The courtyard is beautiful and a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day. Antebellum homes and amazing restaurants were close by. The host could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying in your apartment. The location was awesome, the beds were comfortable and the balcony was superb! We will definitely stay here again, and maybe bring more guests!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Above the Law. We can tell every detail was thought of carefully. The place is very clean, comfortable, and finely curated. We will be back!

This was a 3 night girl’s trip to Natchez for the first time to visit the city’s Christmas pilgrimage tour of antebellum homes. We stayed in the “Above the Law” unit. Below is my take on the pros/con of the rental. Pros First of all the unit is immaculate. I’ve never stay in a rental that is as clean as Richard’s place. Richard goes the extra mile and also provides his guest with a bottle of wine, coffee, tea and snacks. Bed linens and towels in the unit are luxurious. Richard only has top of the line kitchen appliances with a fully stocked kitchen (although we did not cook) it would be anyone’s dream kitchen. Richard’s place is like living in a walking museum of history from the 1700s-2000s. Beautiful antiques with comfortable beds in both bedrooms. The location is walkable to downtown shops. Richard lives next door so he is available to address any questions for the area. Cons “Above the Law” is an upstairs unit so you will need to carry your luggage up the stairs. I only list this as a con should someone have mobility issues.The second issue although this cannot be controlled by the owner there is a recently opened nightclub across the street that appeared to be a little sketchy and being 2 older ladies we did not feel comfortable arriving in the parking lot after dark. With that being said parking is reserved for guest outside a brick courtyard with a locked gate you enter to gain access to the unit. Weekend traffic can be a somewhat noisy for light sleepers.

It was our annual trip to Natchez to see the Angels on The Bluff. There were four of us that stayed Above the Law and we simply LOVED it! It is so centrally located that we didn't need to drive to too many places. We walked everywhere! The accommodations were spic and span clean and the beds were SO comfy! Shower pressure was strong as well. No need to take sheets and comforters as these were perfect. Most of all the host is such a lovely person to visit with! We will certainly be staying here again. Loved it!

Had a wonderful time while staying at Above the Law! Such a great place to stay. Wonderful location and we really enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere of the property. Great artwork and so many interesting details. Loved the balcony and courtyard. Wished we had of had more time to linger. I have never stayed any other place with a better equipped kitchen! Would definitely stay here again!

It was just as described. It was comfortable, clean and the balcony was perfect !! The location was perfect for shopping, restaurants and the balloon festival . The host went the extra mile with water, wine and snacks . We love to come back .

Everything went well with our stay in Natchez. Above the Law had plenty of amenities and Richard quickly answered any questions we had and his restaurant suggestions were excellent too. We would definitely stay again if we visit Natchez in the future.

Our stay at Above The Law was excellent. The host was very accommodating and informative. The location is great. We were in walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. The apartment was well stocked and ready for our visit. The evening sunset backdrop on the city was beautiful from the front balcony.

Our stay was excellent. The furnishings alone made this place spectacular. The antiques make you feel like you are staying in an historic home, but with plenty of the comforts of home to make it warm and welcoming. The owner was very accommodating and the check in and out process was simple. This house is stocked with everything and more to make your stay great.

From the Welcome basket to easy checkout, our time at Above the Law was wonderful. Fully stocked place with lots of room. Love the balconies. Host is so very nice and accommodating. Will stay there again in the future! Thanks for a lovely weekend.

Precious!!!! We love the history of all your antiques!!! I bought my daughter a very nice set of candlesticks and clock for her birthday from Old Man River store. Just LOVED the owner. All and all I give everything a BIG5 stars!!!

I loved the space! Huge. Kitchen, dining room and living room. Also convenient for shopping. It is 1 street over from Main Street.

We really enjoyed our stay. Above the Law is an experience by itself. There are so many beautiful and interesting antiques. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the balconies; one overlooks Franklin St. and the other overlooks the courtyard.

Great apartment, lots of room with everything we needed and more, great location, walk or drive to house tours, river, and all else that Natchez offers, owner nearby and very responsive and helpful.

The property was very clean and the kitchen (literally) had anything a person could want or need. Most things in Natchez are within walking distance and this property was perfect for that. Richard was great to work with.

Great property and location. Easily walked to local sites and restaurants. Rental was spacious and had a great layout for our party of 4. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great property for our group. We rented all three properties and it was exactly what we needed for our family get-together All of the units were outfitted with everything someone would need. They had fully outfitted kitchens, great outdoor spaces. It was like staying in a small museum. Owner and staff were very friendly and attentive.

As advertised, easy, clean and super comfortable. Great host who went above and beyond. I give is six stars out of five.
