The staff were so hospitable : especially the manageress and jennie the helper at breakfast. Such lovely, hospitable people. Made us feel so at home.

No hot coffee The room 421 was very noisy, it sounded like some was moving furniture all night was going to call front desk but to tired

The newness and cleanliness. It was so quiet, never heard a noise all night and we were by the elevator! Beds a tad hard for me but still very comfy, slept well. Had everything you need- fridge, hairdryer, etc. many convenience items for purchase in the lobby. Easy check in and out.

Explain door handle can open up or down, otherwise common sense is to try down and door key doesn’t work.

Hotel told me I did not have a reservation and that there were no king rooms available when I checked in around 5pm. The concierge was not very helpful and was not inclined to help. Finally they gave me a room with 2 double beds for more money than for the king room. I had no way to contact booking.com live person for help. Overall, it was not a very good experience. The only thing that helped was that I am a Hilton honors member which secured me a room. I’m very disappointed.

According to the hotel, there was no reservation. Apart from that, the hotel is really a dorm room for adults. Not a place to stay other than one quick night.

Heel schoon Nieuw en fris. T rook heerlijk in de lobby en de zeep en zo was super. Aanvankelijk een dikke 5 sterren review totdat t brandalarm afging om 4:45 uur… het was gelukkig loos alarm. T kwam door t bereiden van t ontbijt in de keuken waardoor t alarm afging. T leek vaker te gebeuren… maar goed.

The styling of the hotel.

My key was a bit finicky. You had to lift the door handle “ just so” to open the door . It took multiple tries. An employee had to help me . He was so patient with my attempts to open it.

Clean fresh look. Room was clean, staff was very nice.

My Check in was delayed because the “system” could not find my reservation even with my confirmation # from my email email receipt. I booked the room via Booking.com website. My reservation was found under a shortened version of my name. We were not able to connect to our room WiFi due to the name snafu and the alternate WiFi offered by the front desk did not stay connected in our room. This was a surprise given Tru’s promotion and advertising of a modern connected hotel and we couldn’t even get an adequate WiFi signal in our room. We had to use our mobile cellular connection for internet access. We had folks in the room directly above us that were very loud and sounds like kids jumping from bed to bed and bed to floor. They sounded like a herd of elephants running back and forth in the room and every footstep, scream and shout echoed in our room below.

Very clean and modern.

The breakfast was okay, but should have been more upscale based on the rate of the room! Everyone does not like turkey sausages, which left you no other meat to eat for breakfast. The bagel and bread selections was good. The room was great, the layout was updated with the long bench under the TV for sitting, luggage and other personal items. No space went unused. Also, the welcome bottles of water was a great surprise, as I am heavy water drinker.
