The house was perfectly located within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. It was stocked with everything we needed and the beds were comfortable!

The house was nicely kept and perfect for our group! Kitchen was nice and outdoor shower was dreamy. I didn't shower inside all week. My grandmother loved the screened in porch. The only thing we could say in the negative was that the beds and sofas felt really damp. It wasnt a dealbreaker though! Otherwise it was perfect!

The house is clean, well decorated, very comfortable, close to the beach, had everything we needed! The beds and pillows were comfortable as well. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch in the back yard. We had the best time in Folly Beach that we extended our stay.

Soulshine delivers a relaxing comfortable home away from home. The outdoor screened in deck was a nice way to spend the evening. We grilled one night and ate dinner out there. The home has plenty of amenities including the washer & dryer which is a must for a beach vacation. Located 3 blocks from the beach and most everything is in walking distance. The home was clean but….not spic and span, gleaming clean. Tea, coffee stains in sink and upon arrival the towels folded in the cabinet were wet. I put them in the dryer and it all worked out. The wagon advertised as a convenient way to carry items to and from the beach was unusable. While trying to pull it, the rusted handle came off. Beach chairs: several rusted and unusable. These things need some refreshing. The kitchen is well equipped and living area cozy and comfortable.

This is a beautiful property with a large fenced in yard which allowed our two dogs and 7 adults to all have a fun and relaxing time. The house is adorable and very well equipped—had everything we could possibly need and the fact that it is just 2 walkable blocks to the beach is a real plus. We’ll definitely return!

We have stayed in several timeshares and vacation rental homes and this is the best! It is decorated beautifully, well stocked and supplied, and provides bided so many cozy touches…blankets, throws, nightlights, great kitchen gadgets. I recommend it without reservation!

My family had the best vacation of all time! The home was beautiful. Super close to the beach and main strip yet far enough away to not be in the noise and hustle. The house amenities made the stay even better and helped us to keep the house clean and comfy. Vacasa was great and kept us informed of everything we needed to know. We dropped into Charleston for great excursions like Fort Sumter, Carriage Ghost Tour and even fossil hunting (Found 53!). We will rent Soulshine every time we come back to Folly Beach!

Cool little bungalow. Roomy and comfortable living room. Well-laid out kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Very short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. About a five-minute walk to downtown.

We had a fantastic girls weekend at Soulshine! Wonderful layout, comfortably appointed and lots of space. Super close to beach and town. Outdoor spaces were great to enjoy the weather. Home had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This is our second stay at Soulshine. We love the big living room and the front yard with the old Live Oak is very pleasant. The beach is a quick walk as is Bert’s Market ( a favorite of the whole family ). Center Street is an easy trip but far enough away to avoid the noise. We are already looking forward to trip #3.

We stayed Sept 3-Sept 8, 2022 at “Soulshine“ on Folly Beach. We actually added 2 extra nights to give us more time we loved it so much. Originally we were leaving on Sept 6th. The home is adorable and well appointed - new surprises around each corner inside and out. Great AC, very comfortable beds, no stairs, awesome outdoor screen in porch which can hold over 10 people, nice picnic table and grill along with outdoor shower, cart for carrying beach chairs coolers and such- big wheels that make getting through sand easy, they even have chairs and boogie boards available but we had taken our own. The kitchen has everything you need and a nice big refrigerator and freezer. Fabulous bathrooms and they even have fans!! One Bath has nice sized washer and dryer with a counter over them for ease with folding towels and clothes. We had plenty of towels and wash rags, starter supplies of everything. Lots of seating in the open area of kitchen , table and den area. Lots of light shining in with quality blinds you can open or close. They ask that you don’t GI colder than 72 but I assure you it’s plenty cold AC. You may even want to put it on 74 at night. I keep my home colder than 72 and I was plenty cool. The home is beautifully redone, tasteful and interesting. Close to the beach and down town but no noise. Parking is simple and was always available at the beach access close by if someone can’t manage the walk- you can just use a credit card or debit card and scan the QR code and pay- instructions at the beach access is well posted. Parking at the home is great. 2 vehicles in driveway, and there’s a gate in the back you can open for another vehicle. The fenced yard is very secure and our 2 labs loved exploring the yard on potty breaks and they enjoyed not needing to harness/ leash up to go potty. We did make sure all gates were shut. We live Folly and have gone since 2015 and stayed at homes on the beach and with elevators but Soulshine is by far our favorite place. We ate at our number one favorite “ The Lost Dog Cafe” and dogs are allowed to come if you choose one of the two outside patios. Their eggs Benedict is awesome and they usually have a special also of eggs Benedict- crab cake and shrimp cakes with it, asparagus, and fresh fruit. The regular one has Canadian bacon and fried green tomatoes instead. Folly is very dog friendly and locals and visitors are very friendly. Our next favorite place is The Crab Shack for steamed shrimp and crab legs, potatoes and corn. Get the hush puppy basket as an appetizer and ask for tarter sauce as well! Lots of choices. We also ate at Loggerheads and it was also good- I had Fried shrimp. The shrimp tacos were good also. The fish was good as well and was topped with a very flavorful sauce. We shopped some as well and found some fun Tshirts and our son got a beachy type necklace. We cannot wait to rebook this beautiful home. The owners have thought of your every need. 10/10 for our review! Thank you!!

We loved this property and would consider coming again. We had adults and children and a dog and everything was just right. Fenced in yard was helpful to keep the kids and dog close. The screened in porch was great and the outdoor shower was really nice. The open concept was great for hosting a few other family members staying nearby. Great place!

Very close to Burt’s and Chico Feo and to the beach. Really nice outdoor areas in the front and rear of the house.

We loved our stay at Soulshine! Every attribute and picture was described accurately and corner location was perfect for easy access to beach and Centre Street. Amenities were excellent and being able to bring our bro- pup was icing on the cake.

Clean, bright, and welcoming - Soulshine felt like home from check-in to check-out! Not too far to walk to the beach, though we were glad we opted for golf carts to get to the little store down the way. It was relaxing to come home to a cool house with beautiful landscaping and multiple common areas to unwind - inside or out! Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would love to rent again in the future!!

The property lived up to all the stellar reviews. It's perfectly located, within walking distance to Center Street, and a couple blocks from the beach. It's close enough that you can leave your car parked for the entire trip, but far enough from the main strip that you can have a peaceful, quiet, night. Dinners on the screened in patio are HIGHLY recommended!

My 84 yr old father was not happy that there was no TV in any bedroom. The home was close to the beach and one of the best stocked homes I have rented.

Great cozy place for a relaxing stay. Clean, well stocked and a short walk to everything. Everyone was so friendly and lots of pet friendly places. We had a great time and can't wait to come back.

This great house had everything we needed for 3 generations to vacation together. The 3 year old could do the short walk to the beach by herself. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, cookware, and appliances. The beds and linens are very comfy. There are abundant fluffy towels in the bathrooms. The shower and hose out back to wash off before coming inside is a great help. The grill had a back up tank of propane, just in case we needed it. We had plenty of room to spread out, read, play games, and enjoy our time together. We could walk to town and really enjoyed the stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay at Soulshine and hope to come back again.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Soulshine. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The house is a short walk to the beach and less than a 10 minute walk into town. We hope to stay here in the future.

Our family of 5 plus small dog really enjoyed this comfortable, convenient house. The fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog and our granddaughter loved the hammock. Great screen house in the backyard wonderful to have a grill, washer and dryer and fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again. The proximity to both the beach and Charleston was exceptional

Excellent place for our family of 5 for a week. Our small dog could roam the fenced in yard. We could easily drive to Charleston but we could also walk a few short blocks to the beach. Convenient to Bert’s for groceries and to restaurant. Great kitchen/family room with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it!!! Easy check in and check out, too

The house was immaculately clean! Had everything we needed for our stay! We were able to wash towels as needed! Great location! With 7 adults we ran out of toilet paper, but we were close to grocery shopping! Otherwise, it was a great stay! Thanks Vacasa. I will use you for all of our future vacation bookings!!

House was just as described. Very clean and neat. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The grill was out of propane and when we reported it to office, we had a replacement within the hour even though we told them no rush. Very quiet neighborhood too. The five nights went by too quickly and we’ll be back.
